Villa Amvrosia Nr Kalives Crete

Schöne Villa ruhige Lage, Betten sind für Deutsche Verhältnisse gewöhnungsbedürftig. Pool ist nicht beheizt, auch keine geselschaftsspiel vorhanden. Das Fliegengitter im Schlafzimmer ist defekt. Die Tischtennisplatte ist alt und schief. Alkes in allem in die Jahre gekommen.

Location, general cleanliness, not being overlooked, peaceful. Make sure there is no infestation of ants in the kitchen before clients arrive (it took a week to get this sorted). Fix the decking by the pool - there were protruding screws and loose planks. Restore bug screen balcony so aircon does not need to be used so much to cool down inside. Restore normal seats in outside pergola as the new benches are too deep to be comfortable. Ensure all umbrellas are operational by the pool. Personally the indoor pool is better with normal and not salt water.

Great service and communication. Loved the pool and all the space around the property. Stunning views and wonderful location. Well appointed villa and lovely to be secluded and quiet. We had a fantastic stay and would recommend this beautiful villa. We love Crete One of the parasols by pool was slightly broken and rather small. The sun was intense so another large parasol would have been better - 3 parasols needed.

Everything, apart from the two small issues mentioned. The door to the en-suite bathroom is missing. Asking visitors to take their rubbish to the dumpsters in the village at the end of the stay is not very welcome when the hire car is full to the seams with people and luggage.

Carefully and intelligently designed for both sun and shade lovers. The pool and its surrounds is a delight and the views of the mountains spectacular. Just wonderful and when coupled with the generosity of the hosts truly splendid, I just wish it could have been longer. Some of the pool surrounds (decking and fences) are starting to reach the end of their life and need replacement,
