Regular hotel rooms that could use air conditioning in the summer for the odd time it's hot. But the restaurant is excellent, the staff are awesome, and there's a very pretty back garden with a propane firepit. Cannot say enough good about the owners and staff.

Comfy king size bed, nice room but small, staff was excellent… continental breakfast was good but would have preferred a traditional hot breakfast … didn’t like the washroom was not clean, the bath water was terrible, Janet informed us promptly that we could not drink the water and complimentary bottled water was offered for drinking.

Beautiful location, friendly and accommodating staff, comfortable rooms. Highly recommend. Despite my stay being during the off season, they made sure I was taken care of with dinner and breakfast on my overnight stay. Great location to rest after travel and exploring the nearby Cape Spear/Mistaken Point Ecological Reserve. I like that each suite is named after a location along the Irish loop and the photography hung throughout the hotel is really nice to appreciate the landscapes in the area. I appreciated the complementary bottled water provided due to staining of the local water supply. Thanks again!

Loved staff especially Colleen who checked us in and was our server at dinner. Continental breakfast was fine as we are not big breakfast eaters and the coffee was delicious. Very quiet all around. Did not like the discoloured water for showering. Bottled water was provided for drinking and we used it for washing our faces and brushing our teeth. One-ply toilet paper, which is not very absorbent, was provided. Also no Air Conditioning but we thought fans could have been in each of our rooms.

Helpful staff (especially kitchen/housekeeping staff and night manager…went above and beyond to help navigate laundry and special requests). Outside area was clean, natural and inviting for a relaxing evening outdoors. No AC which historically is not a problem in NL but it was quite hot during our stay and we had to sleep with the window open. We also kept the door open for a cross breeze while we were in the room and not sleeping.

We were excited about our stay, but the bar had a limited selection, food was good not great, and the bed was quite uncomfortable. The most disappointing was a very average breakfast basket handed out the night before instead of the advertised free breakfast.

The staff here are great. Room was spacious and the bed is huge and comfortable. Lovely waking up to birds. One negative was i could hear the snoring in the room next to me and people in the hallway sound like they're right in my room. Great Inn overall though.

Lovely location and restaurant. Continental breakfast was very useful since there aren’t many restaurants or grocery stores in the area. We could take a few snacks to go. The room was too hot unfortunately. Even at night with open window and one fan. Recommend requesting an extra fan and asking for a room that’s not facing west.

The service from the minute we arrived was awesome! extremely attentive and eager to answer any questions we had.......a wealth of local knowledge allowed us to see things we would normally not been aware of in the region. will definitely be back for another stay.

We arrived 2 days before the restaurant opened up ( and chef arrived) but they were so nice and setup a table for us so that we could eat the food and wine we’d brought. They were so very gracious and welcoming! They are from the area and know so much about it. I hear the food is great too.Room was so comfortable, fresh, and clean. Definitely a great place!

We had a wonderful stay at The Inn. We were travelling the Irish Loop and it was the perfect midpoint for us. I highly recommend the restaurant. The staff were wonderful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

Cutest Inn in a lovely area on the Irish Loop. The staff at the hotel were all so friendly especially Linda and Colleen and we appreciated their hard work and hospitality. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

Trepassey is not a booming city! Edge of Avalon Inn is the only real option you have. Staff was amazing … fish and chips were best we’ve ever had… a quaint place!

The location was exactly what we were looking for. The inn has wonderfully friendly staff and a full restaurant for dinner, which was greatly appreciated. The rooms are well decorated, but you can hear your neighbors (walls are thin). Wish there had been some protein for breakfast instead of just carbs. Maybe some hard-boiled eggs? or a cheese maybe? All in all, a very pleasant stay!

Nice place. Good restaurant on site. Could not see much of the surroundings due to the fog. Suggest a “check in” sign beside the door, otherwise well marked.

Trepassey is not a booming city! Edge of Avalon Inn is the only real option you have. Staff was amazing … fish and chips were best we’ve ever had… a quaint place!

Older place for sure. Lovely outside gardens. Only stayed one night, restaurant was short staffed so lady was tired and let us know it. Food was good. Breakfast was good and hot.

I got very lucky to stumble upon this gem when they opened for Good Friday. Fabulous location with cozy restaurant overlooking the sea. Food was amazing and the room was so cute and comfy that I didn’t want to leave. Attentive owners and staff went out of their way to be sure I was comfortable. Will definitely stay here again when I’m in the area!

Everything was excellent from the room to the dining room. Great staff. Nice menu. Snow crab appetizer was what I had been looking for all over Newfoundland. Close to Mistaken Point Interpretive Center - you need to register with them to take the hike to the fossils - and further on to Cape Race lighthouse.

We were excited about our stay, but the bar had a limited selection, food was good not great, and the bed was quite uncomfortable. The most disappointing was a very average breakfast basket handed out the night before instead of the advertised free breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at The Inn. We were travelling the Irish Loop and it was the perfect midpoint for us. I highly recommend the restaurant. The staff were wonderful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

Quick and easy check in,spacious room with very comfortable bed and plenty of parking , also very quiet.We enjoyed a very delicious meal in their restaurant. Would recommend staying here.

Nope go elsewhere. They need to put a filtration system on the water. Water is dark brown colored and they said it safe to shower in!!! Breakfeast is all carbs. It opens at 8 am. The restaurant 4:30 to 8pm. Nice lounge but spare chairs and toilet seats there.Too bad there were games and books there. Staff is great and hard working. I am not sure why it had a high rating.

The staff is well mannered and super friendly. The property is at a quiet place and we'll maintained but can have some improvements. The water is yellowish and according to them safe to brush teeth or shower. They provide bottled water to drink. Also, they provide complimentary free decent breakfast. Their restaurant is not free but the food at the restaurant is one of the best in NL.
