I will be fair here and state the positive with the negative, but the negatives far outweigh the positives so my rating is low and I would overall NOT recommend this hotel. Positives: 1. Front Desk staff friendly and helpful. 2. Breakfast was good. Serving and sitting areas clean. 3. Rooms as advertised (2 queens and a small sofa bed). Negatives: 1. Found LIVE bedbugs in one of the two rooms our group stayed in. We thought we saw dead ones in the other room when we checked in, and that was later confirmed by hotel management. The front desk found another similar room and moved those of us where the live bedbugs were found to another room. 2. When checking out I asked if they were going to comp the one room or take some action to remedy the fact that we found bedbugs. I was told that they would talk to the Manager and would call me within a couple of days to let me know outcome. 3. A week went by and I received no calls, and the CC charges had posted and not been reversed, so I called the hotel. I was told that they were aware of the issue and told me that there had been bedbug issues with BOTH of the rooms our group was in, but that they had been sprayed the week before. Indicated that all of the bedbugs in the one room (which we stayed in) were dead but just not vacuumed good, and that we only found one live bedbug in the room we swapped out. Bottom line is that they would NOT do any compensation. Offered Club points only but no financial considerations.
