The elevator is out of service now for about 2 months

The hallways were hot, no air conditioning. The room had an odor like dirty wet carpet and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The staff was great and the breakfast was good.

NO AC in common areas of the Hotel. Central Florida in June and they’re trying to conserve energy by not having AC running. Poor judgement

The hallways had no air conditioning and was super hot. The carpet had stains all over them. The barhroom had water all over the floor. The toilet was not clean. The shower had a leak. You could barely see out the windows they were so dirty or had residue on them. But the staff was nice and the breakfast was good!

Excellent customer service; friendly & helpful staff. The only (small) issue was no AC in the open hallways

Room, hotel lobby, elevators, breakfast bar, exterior, and pool area were clean. Parking lot was well lit. Price was fair. Overall good experience. 👍

If you love the alien experience this is the place for you.The elevator and hallway was hot ;one elevator was slow. After traveling,approx. 850 miles a nice sleep would have been welcome ;but, the a/c took off like a space ship running for 45 minutes, then landed and the did this all night.This was reported. It would have been nice, if someone told us there was no housekeeping .We saw the maid as we were leaving and she said Oh,r u leaving. Let us not forgetting, the yapping dog next door. I have stay here several times before,but this is my last nightmare dream. The mattress needs to be changed out. I am at home now and can get some sleep.

I would definitely stay here again. Clean & comfortable with lots of yummy breakfast options (including scrambled eggs that looked and tasted like freshly cooked at home). On weekends, breakfast is available until 11am and check out is noon. Free Parking. No complaints.

I have been coming to this property for years and things seem to be getting worse. There's no A/C in the hallway areas and there's an elevator that has been out of service since last year. The alarm clocks batteries were dead and leaking acid into the clocks interior. This might be the last year i stay at this property.

When I entered the room there were dirty nail clippers on the desk. No water in room. My room smelled really bad like a dirty dog. I called Front desk and was offered air freshener. I had to ask for manager to get another room. When I changed rooms I left a bottle of cologne in the old room . The next morning I went to front desk they did not have the cologne, I went to the actual room I had and the people who were staying in the room gave me the cologne. It was were I left it on the desk. Which means again the room was not cleaned properly.

The room they put my family in was definitely not like rhe pictures, very small, walls and doors were dirty, then bathroom had black mold all around the top of the wall. When we told the staff they changed our room and it was still very dirty.

The bathroom was dirty, water spout did not work in tub, toilet barely flushed, dirty walls, sliding bath door !!! Paint ripping off walls, hallway was hot and steamy.,. Over all so not impressed especially when sights said it was good. Also, the ac unit was damage. The customer service rep said “I bet someone was hiding something “!!

The first room they gave me 310 was infested with roaches.

I wish the toilet paper was not so hard. The breakfast was good but the bread smelled funny, the bananas were green, and the sausage was not good. Wish the potatoes had some kind of crunch not just thrown in the microwave. The beds were comfortable, hot water shower, did find 2 roaches in the bathroom and by the tv.

Hotel has seen better days. Room carpet stained. Bedsheets extremely worn and did not appear fresh. Bathroom appeared to have mold.

Room 324 the ac was noisy.

i though for a newer property it looked tired. Great staff, good breakfast, clean enough. The bathroom floor must have flooded. Messy caulking job. Made it look more tired. HVAC unit loud, and running forever to keep us cool.

This hotel was a very pleasant experience. From check-in to check-out, everything was very nice. Bed was comfortable. I am not a fan of the duvet? (bed cover) I appreciate that you provided a clean blanket in a sealed bag so I didn't ’t have to wrestle with the duvet all night. The only real issue is the room doors. Apparently, there is no way to close them quietly. I was awakened every morning due to a door slamming. So, I tried to close mine quietly. It was a challenge. I think there is an adjustment for that. Just trying to add some constructive feedback.

As always we enjiyed our Hampton stay.the only factor, which surprised us, waa the ac did not cool the room well at all. Never have ezprienced this at all of the Hamptoms we have stayed so we hope it was just an ac issue

Autumn at the front was amazing and the best part of our stay. Very welcoming and engaging. Excellent customer service. The hallways felt like a sauna. I read this in reviews from three months prior before I booked my stay. I sadly assumed they would have repaired the air situation within three months. Not the case. The beds felt like I was sleeping on concrete. So uncomfortable. The room smelled and was very unpleasant. The great customer service was our only positive from our stay.

The room was very nice. Unfortunately the hotel sign prevented us from viewing the outdoors from our window.

Had a second floor room streetside with a lot of road noise. Bed was hard and lumpy. Room was very spacious however we both slept terrible because of the bed. We appreciated the protein choices at breakfast, eggs and chicken sausage. Was good but not great. Had a lot of good looking carb choices for waffles with assorted toppings however did not try as I am a diabetic so i focus on proteins. As a person with allergies, i wish they kept some rooms pet free which this hotel definetly did not. I guess I expected a better experience at a Hilton.

The hotel was nice, but the bed was horrible, it was hard with what felt like a spring right in the middle. The hotel staff was nice as well.

Room didn’t have a microwave in the room!!!

The hotel is in a great central location - very close to downtown and not too bad of a drive to local springs. The studio room was very spacious and comfortable. Loved the smart tv with Netflix, Calm and IHeart radio. Free breakfast was excellent, with a variety of foods and different egg dishes each day. Staff was incredibly friendly and kind and helped resolve a few issues. The issues included not being able to get into the room with the key card repeatedly, no ice available, except on one floor, the door to the room not closing properly without pushing it and making sure it was closed and there was a leak down the wall, showing as a red stain and the wallpaper was coming loose. Having said that, they’re making efforts to remodel and fix such issues and I’d have no hesitation to stay again.

Went to daytona beach for an overnight stay, and after we were done there it was 7 pm and my kids and i were tired and we didn't want to drive all the way back to Ocala. We decided to stop in deland and stay over one more night since we needed showers and sleep from the beach. I was iffy cause of some of the reviews, but completely thrilled! The hotel was fairly priced for a last minute stop on a Friday night. I didn't catch the name of the front desk girl, but she was so nice and helpful! The beds were comfortable, the room was spotless, the shower was great, my kids loved the breakfast, and there were so many options to choose from. There was a couple there for a wedding, and while we were eating, i noticed one of the morning staff talking to some of the party involved, and while that had nothing to do with us; it was noted how kind the staff was with them. They were assuring them that they would make sure everything was perfect, and one of the receptionists personally assured them that she would go above and beyond to make sure that everything was taken care of. You don't see that kind of service anymore and it was very kind of her to offer that. Even though she was joking, that same girl was so sad that we were checking out and encouraged us to stay, lol. And the girl who was there the night before was also working again. The whole experience was great overall and if we need to stay in deland again I definitely know where I'm staying!

Kai at the front desk is a professional who is a pleasure to deal with. Always kind and helpful. The hotel is great. Zero complaints.

The breakfast they had was not as good as they hyped about. The biscuits was hard as a rock. Gravy was cold. Didn’t have any milk out. The apple juice was out and orange juice only came out looking like it. But tasted like orange water. We booked two nights. Two different reservations. Checked out on 16th and in the same room checked in. I did ask for my sheets to be changed and my bed to be made. And didn’t get that. I didn’t get no fresh towels. The amount of money I paid. I should have had better service.

Front desk staff was fantastic!

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They truly go out of their way to make sure that you are happy. Would stay there again.

AC did not work in room. When I called down to the front desk, their initial response was oh well our maintenance guy is gone for the night, no offer to try and make it better. I had to insist on another room. Poor customer service.

Front desk staff was awesome

Very nice facility but under staffed. Rooms are clean but may benefit of a deep cleaning on air ducts and ceiling corners. We didn’t received room services during our stay. Had to go to lobby to get fresh towels and shower gel. Breakfast was great and staff very social.

The staff at this hotel is AMAZING. They are the friendliest people I’ve ever met when staying at a hotel. Mike was so accommodating. We were all there for the hurricane and so the staff stayed basically the entire week and I was actually sad to leave! I recommend this hotel to anyone!

Quick and easy check in, small problem with first room was handled immediately by management.

We really like staying at this Hampton. It is very conveniently located. We love being able to walk to OB's, Chili's, Sonny's, Goodwill and many others. Our room was nice, clean, and had a fridge.

The day front desk and the breakfast attendant were so friendly! The location was perfect. It was within 20-40 minutes of everywhere we were wanting to go. Convenient to Daytona and Orlando.

The breakfast was delicious! Lots of variety and well maintained. The women putting out the food were super friendly and I got to know them even though our stay was brief. The room was clean, although it did not get serviced while we were there. It was a brief stay, so not a big deal. We used up our last towels, but we didn't need more, so that was fine. I went in the pool one day and would have stayed in longer, but the weather did not cooperate!

Hotel, staff and room was exceptional. Breakfast..one of the best, even tho it was the usual fare, it just tasted fresher and better than others. Only concern I have is the policy of the incidentals fee, $20. This is kinda insulting. You have my card on file, why the upfront charge, supposedly to be kicked back after we check out? Get rid of this, please. It has to be a bookkeeping irritant, on both ends. Other than that, highly recommend!
