We enjoyed our stay at this well-preserved, mid-century gem. The owners were very friendly and helpful and always at the ready to respond. The rooms were larger than I expected, and the bathroom was especially nice with beautiful colored tile and a shower with pressure and temperature better than pricier hotels. If you want a lot of room or hotel amenities (pool, coffee maker, ice maker, etc..) this isn't the place for you. It is very tiny and quaint with a microwave and a mini-fridge. I was surprised the walls were so thin in the bathroom, though, as I could hear every word the guy on the other side of the wall in his bathroom was saying, and then he got in the shower and was singing loud for at least 20 minutes or more, so that was annoying. It was probably the great shower that made him feel like singing, though. Pressure is like jacuzzi jets and very hot water!

Small older motel that is being well cared for by the current owners. Has an early check in time of 2pm, and early check out at 10am, but would have preferred 3pm and 11am, like most other hotels and motels on our 13 stop tour. No additional facilities on site, and not much nearby, but room was a reasonable size and clean. Good value for the price paid, as Daytona Beach can be very expensive.

The property is very well kept and the rooms are clean as well. Linens were all fresh and comfortable. The owners are on site and were very pleasant and accommodating. Many eating choices in the surrounding area. Good location and parking right in front of your door. Microwave and fridge were a plus. Outstanding water pressure for a spa like shower! Will stay again!

Owners were very friendly. Room was cleaned each day, parking in front of room, beds comfortable and great breakfast restaurant next door. We did have some issues with the tub not draining during showers, but it was survivable. Would stay here again.

Incredibly clean and in great shape for an older facility. Friendly owner. It's not a 5 star resort with lots of amenities, but if you need a clean, reasonably priced place to stay, this is it. Highly recommend.

The owners of the hotel are so nice and over-the-top accommodating! But keep in mind this is a budget motel in a tourist area. Don’t expect top of the line. It’s a clean, comfortable place to lay your head that doesn’t cost a fortune. I would definitely stay again if I found myself in Daytona.

I came here because of the great reviews. It was everything I expected and more. The owners were super nice and tended to my room daily. I loved the fact that I could park right in front of my room. I will definitely stay here again next year for Jeep Beach. 💯

The motel is a relic from the 1950’s. However it is very clean, owners are wonderful, shower even has great water pressure. This was my second stay and would stay again. Plenty of parking and a designated spot in front of every room. Also felt safe there. Owners watch everything.

Upon arriving, I was greeted at the desk by one of the extremely kind owners. Check-in was quick and organized. I had been to some really, really crappy motels recently (to get away for some simple "me" time), and those were atrociously dirty and disgusting. Hawaii Motel is the complete opposite! Meticulously clean, all amenities in working order, quiet, housekeeping every day, samples of shampoo/conditioner/bodywash, deodorant renewed each time, bed made, vaccuumed in a timely manner. Any questions I had were answered thoroughly, and I cannot wait to return to again enjoy some needed rest and relaxation in this old, yet VERY well maintained motel. Thanks so much, Hawaii Motel!!!

Poorly maintained property, the toilet bowl was loose, shower didn’t drain well, and the door to the room didn’t always properly latch. The room key only locked the door knob so it wasn’t possible to lock the dead bolt when leaving. The bed sheets were old and stained. Overall it didn’t feel clean or secure.

After a terrible experience nearby, I made a last minute reservation here after reading the other reviews and we were not disappointed. They were able to accommodate us quickly and the room was very clean, well kept, the water pressure was great, water was hot, and AC was cold. I would absolutely recommend to anyone in the area.

This motel was very clean. It had a full size refrigerator with a freezer section as well as a decent size microwave. Everytime we left the room they would go in and make up our beds and clean things up. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were clean. The staff was very friendly. We were there on vacation to buy some housplants and they offered us a box to jeep our plants safe on the trip home. The staff also talked about their own plants and gave me new ideas on things to grow. The motel was about 15 minutes away from the main area on both sides, but there were lots of things to do around there. Overall, it was a very great place to stay!

Time travel is possible!!! Don't let the quaint appearance fool you. This place hides a deep dark secret that will amaze you! The rooms are large and clean. The staff very friendly. But be warned of the deep, dark secret. As you enter the shower, do not dare turn the water on full blast!!! It will pin you to the wall like a firehose! It's been decades since I felt such great water pressure and had such a refreshing shower. The secret? Old pipes that allow enough water flow to produce a powerful spray that will make you curse environmental regulations like The Energy Policy Act of 1992 which relegated us to low flow toilets and the like. Other than the flat screen TV's and near perfect mattresses, this place seems to transport you back to the 1950's when American was booming. Rooms are large which plenty of room to spread out your luggage and let the kids play. The staff were full of smiles and check in and out was quick. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and had the original fixtures and tile which were in perfect condition. It was incredible to do my business and watch it disappear in a single flush and see gallons of water make sure the next visitor did not get a horrible surprise. I choose this hotel because of it's high star rating and I was not disappointed.

This is an older motel but in good shape for its age. Everything is outdated but it has a nice comfortable feel & it’s clean & smells fresh! Room was a good size, room to walk around the bed. I’d stay here again even tho if is kinda out of the way, not real close to the interstate.

The owners are absolutely lovely and go out of their way to make your stay a great one. The room is rather spacious and although a bit dated (which seems to be the norm for the area), was extremely clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again if we come back to Daytona.

The property was dated circa late 60s early 70s. The appliances and furnishings while clean were old and worn. No coffee maker inthe room and the available t.v. stations were limited. The area was quite and the neighborhood appeared to be safe. The motel was close to the airport , daytona speedway and the beach. I would say that the owner ran a very "tight ship" and in geared towards customer satisfaction.

Upon arriving, I was greeted at the desk by one of the extremely kind owners. Check-in was quick and organized. I had been to some really, really crappy motels recently (to get away for some simple "me" time), and those were atrociously dirty and disgusting. Hawaii Motel is the complete opposite! Meticulously clean, all amenities in working order, quiet, housekeeping every day, samples of shampoo/conditioner/bodywash, deodorant renewed each time, bed made, vaccuumed in a timely manner. Any questions I had were answered thoroughly, and I cannot wait to return to again enjoy some needed rest and relaxation in this old, yet VERY well maintained motel. Thanks so much, Hawaii Motel!!!

Owners were very friendly. Room was cleaned each day, parking in front of room, beds comfortable and great breakfast restaurant next door. We did have some issues with the tub not draining during showers, but it was survivable. Would stay here again.

The owners of the hotel are so nice and over-the-top accommodating! But keep in mind this is a budget motel in a tourist area. Don’t expect top of the line. It’s a clean, comfortable place to lay your head that doesn’t cost a fortune. I would definitely stay again if I found myself in Daytona.

The family that owns the motel were great and very accommodating. If you needed anything they were there to help. Rooms were spacious and have everything you need. Showers were hot and good pressure.

This is an older motel but in good shape for its age. Everything is outdated but it has a nice comfortable feel & it’s clean & smells fresh! Room was a good size, room to walk around the bed. I’d stay here again even tho if is kinda out of the way, not real close to the interstate.

We stayed at the Hawaii Motel for the 500 and it was easy to check in, the room was nice and the area was quiet. The location in relation to the race festivities was good too.

The property was dated circa late 60s early 70s. The appliances and furnishings while clean were old and worn. No coffee maker inthe room and the available t.v. stations were limited. The area was quite and the neighborhood appeared to be safe. The motel was close to the airport , daytona speedway and the beach. I would say that the owner ran a very "tight ship" and in geared towards customer satisfaction.

I liked that it was quiet and away from the noise of the city. The owner was very polite and accommadating as I arrived early. I was able to access the room early. Its an older style Motel, but had what was necessary for my very short stay.

Its a very clean no frills motel in a perfect location for events at daytona speedway. The owners are amazing and will go out of their way to help you out. Its our second time staying there and where we will stay if we return next year.

We discovered this wee gem several years ago and consistently exceeds expectations for lodging found on the Expedia/Hotels.com websites --- especially for central Florida. The owners are delightful and if you have ever travel in UK or Europe? This is where you want to stay. Easy access to two (2) interstate highways (I-4 and I-95). Simplifies travel to major metropolitan areas (Orlando and Jacksonville) and international airports (MCO and SFB) and major airline carriers are so close with Daytona Internaltional Airport. Well worth a look see and just may become your "home away from home". Thanks for opportunity to share :-)

I stay here on a regular basis, it's clean and quiet yet close to everything. If you're not looking to stay beachfront then this is your best option, walking distance to breakfast lunch diner. I'll stay here again.

The proprietors are very helpful and friendly and really want you to have a great stay and go out of their way to make it happen. It's a great no-frills motel with plenty of free parking. The bathroom fixtures were outdated from like the previous century, but everything worked and what makes this place charming!
