It’s an older property in a really great location. Walkable to the pier and pier park. Clean and friendly staff. It was off season so the tiki bar wasn’t opened nor the pool but the price reflected that so it was fine. Still get the amazing views of the gulf from your balcony.

The view is stunning from room 142, I can't speak for the other rooms. The property is very close to Walmart, Top Golf, and Pier Walk. There is a splash pad and pool for very little kids. The do have another pool for older children and adults. The room was clean and has basic necessities. They clean the room everyday and replenish towels and wash cloths. I do wish they had a broom in the room to sweep up if something is spilled or to sweep up sand. I was a little noisy because our bedroom was closest to the road, however that would not deter me from staying again. Staff was very nice and accommodating.

Perfect location, old vibe with just enough of current tech to stay comfy but still disengage from the day to day stressors. Love the tiki bar, grill set ups, beach chair access, two pools kid friendly but not overwhelming. It was perfect. Walking distance to shops, dives, and the mainstream touristy spots. Never had to leave. Excellent. Kind of wish I kept it a secret.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Was kind of disappointed with the lack of breakfast and the onsite tiki bar closed very early (7 pm) But there were other options within walking distance

Although an older hotel, it provides a good service for its location and price. It offers many amenities (kids’ pool, regular pool, on the beach, tiki bar,, splash pad… A drawback for non smokers is that outside smoking is allowed, so if you are downwind from a smoker on your balcony, you get all their smoke. Other than that, a good place to be on the beach.

Although an older hotel, it provides a good service for its location and price. It’s a smaller hotel so even if you wake up late you’ll still be able to get a nice spot on the beach. There’s a kiddie pool that goes to 3’, another pool that goes to 8’ and another 8’ pool closer to registration that has a 4 person hot tub. There’s and little kiddie sprinkler area, shuffle board, giant dominos, giant jenga and multiple ring toss areas and a little tiki bar that has sodas, adult beverages and snacks. Staff is very accommodating. Towels are always an issue for our family as they get wet, sandy, etc and it seems like there’s never enough but not here! We had plenty of towels and they even have extra at the pool. And PLENTY of chairs and umbrellas at the pool areas and sun bathing deck. They do have beach chairs/umbrellas available for a fee. Not sure of price as we brought our own. We’ll stay here again.

We have been coming here for years. Always very clean, staff is always working hard and friendly. Seems everyone we meet there are returning guests and all have positive reveiws.

We checked in, went to the room (in the motel portion of the property), and immediately left the room and checked out. There were flies in the room and it smelled like smoke. The online pictures were taken at angles that left out the less undesirable details. The comforters were very old and faded. The room wasn’t necessarily dirty, just very dingy. It was late when we arrived and there were kids running around unattended, people standing around smoking, adults partying loudly in the hot tub. If you are ok staying in motels that have a number in their name you will probably be ok with this place. If you like a refined hotel it is not for you. I would rate this place a 2 star. They did refund all our money less the first night and I thought that fair enough. This place has great reviews. These reviews were left by folks who don’t mind dealing with all the things I’ve listed above.

Driftwood is a dated hotel … which didn’t inspire confidence, HOWEVER, it’s maintained very well : exterior is very clean and freshly painted … interior is also extremely clean. The room smelled simply clean… no mildew smell or room spray deodorizers to mask smells. The price was very fair for the proximity to the sand with ocean view available. The back of the rooms opens to a kind of courtyard where there is a lot of seating around the facility. You wouldn’t be able to leave a door open for ocean sound at night (fyi). We didn’t partake of the rest of the facility- it was an overnight stop. We would stay there again for sure.

This hotel is in the perfect location! Right on the beach and a short walk to Pier Park and restaurants. The room and grounds were clean and staff were friendly. Wouldn’t hesitate to book there again.

It was nice for an older hotel. Beds were comfortable, rooms cleaned daily and staff was very friendly. We would stay there again. Not a lot of wall outlets and very small bathrooms. No elevator. Parking out front is Very Very tight, but there is a large parking area across the street which we used to ensure no door dings on our vehicles. Overall it was a nice stay for that week.

I will not be coming back to this hotel. Staff was so rude. Reserved a room with a kitchenette but ended up with a microwave. The rooms they put us in was so small. Never hard to walk with 4 people in it.

It reminded me of old Florida hotels. If you don't mind things looking a little dated, I found it to be charming and relaxing. I was very comfortable there and the location was perfect.

I have been here before and would come again. It’s close to everything, shopping restaurants and entertainment. Rooms are great with kitchenette and ocean views. Plus it’s only 3 1/2 hours away.

Cleanest Florida hotel! Imnaculate old tine charm. Thoroughly loved our room,location and convenience. Can't wait to go back. No elevators, no parking decks, just relaxing and enjoying your time. Ours had microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot , toaster and dishes. Really a studio apartment.

Awesome lodge nestled between the high rises of PCB. The Driftwood is a little throwback to times when people were the priority. Well-maintained facilities with exceptional staff. My family will be back. Love the fact that they do not allow spring breakers to rent.

I will not be coming back to this hotel. Staff was so rude. Reserved a room with a kitchenette but ended up with a microwave. The rooms they put us in was so small. Never hard to walk with 4 people in it.

We stayed at the Driftwood for the first time & will likely stay there again. The place is very clean & everyone was so friendly. The room was even better than expected. Getting out of the parking lot and late night street noise can be a problem, but that's only because of the proximity to Pier Park and I imagine it's not as bad during other times of the year.

Excellent service and friendly staff! Stayed here for 5 nights as part of a destination wedding and couldn't have asked for a better home base. My wife and I especially loved how close we were to the beach and the nearby dining area which had great bars and restaurants. Overall lovely and very pretty.

Really enjoyed the stay, staff were very friendly, professional. I stayed right on the beach level, very convenient, getting on and off the beach. And several good places with in walking distance to eat and have good time. I will be returning to property.

Really enjoyed the stay, staff were very friendly, professional. I stayed right on the beach level, very convenient, getting on and off the beach. And several good places with in walking distance to eat and have good time. I will be returning to property.

This resort had all the amenities we needed for our last minute 1 night stay. Everything you need is within a comfortable walking distance even with kids. This place is smaller and older, but it’s one of the cleanest most friendly places we have visited. The staff was very helpful to accommodate our needs. Our room wasn’t guaranteed until 4pm but we arrived early and 1 room had become available so we were able to get in earlier. Thank you for a great stay, we’ll return when in the area!

It’s an older property in a really great location. Walkable to the pier and pier park. Clean and friendly staff. It was off season so the tiki bar wasn’t opened nor the pool but the price reflected that so it was fine. Still get the amazing views of the gulf from your balcony.

We stayed at the Driftwood for the first time & will likely stay there again. The place is very clean & everyone was so friendly. The room was even better than expected. Getting out of the parking lot and late night street noise can be a problem, but that's only because of the proximity to Pier Park and I imagine it's not as bad during other times of the year.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Was kind of disappointed with the lack of breakfast and the onsite tiki bar closed very early (7 pm) But there were other options within walking distance

Excellent service and friendly staff! Stayed here for 5 nights as part of a destination wedding and couldn't have asked for a better home base. My wife and I especially loved how close we were to the beach and the nearby dining area which had great bars and restaurants. Overall lovely and very pretty.

Would have liked the Tiki bar to stay open later. But over all we loved our stay. Nothing to complain about. Will definitely be going bk and staying there again. Very family friendly. The price was great! Great views. Close to pier. Shopping is walking distance. There is a bar called Donovans right across the street and Wes the bartender is awesome!!!

It was a very quaint property right on the beach. Lots of great places to sit and view the ocean. Great staff! Free coffee in the morning and free popcorn in the afternoon! Loved it!

This was an older property so I wasn't sure what to expect but the room was clean and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. There were ash trays set out around the property so I'm assuming they allow smoking. The room didn't smell of smoke, thankfully because that would have been a deal breaker, and fortunately I only smelled cigarette smoke one night when we went out on the balcony so we didn't bother staying outside. Overall it was a pretty good stay and I would stay there again.

Room was clean, but everything was super dated…like bed spread dark and dingy from a summer of use…but, the staff were A-mazing! The gentleman at the front desk walked us to our room and even had to come back in the evening to let us in when we forgot our wristbands before leaving our room! Such nice people! A little pricey when more modern hotels next door are charging less on Hotels.com for the same night. Thankful for it being a safe and comfortable sleep tho! Thank you!!!

My family has been staying at the Driftwood for over 30 years. We love that it is small, family owned, and family friendly! I loved the bracelet room keys, very handy for being in the pool or on the beach a lot. Love the family activities! We stayed in the bungalow rooms this time and I love them! They are right next to the beach! Much quieter. All the staff is very friendly and welcoming! We actually left a few items in our room at checkout and they called to let us know probably 10 minutes later so we were able to come back and get the items! Wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else in PCB!!
