What a gem! We stayed in room 18, a king studio with kitchenette and patio. It seemed to be recently remodeled with a full size refrigerator, small cooktop, coffee maker, microwave and even basic dishes and pots and pans. There was a small counter against the wall with two stools for dining. The seating are and bed were both so comfortable! The patio had a table and chairs for my morning tea. We even had a rabbit visit in the early evening. Highly recommend!

Everything was very nice, clean and accommodating. Excellent staff! Enjoy the outside sitting areas. The kitchenette in the room was very helpful as well. We were there for two nights. We did feel that the fee for this the room was a little pricey. Would definitely stay again, if considered a lower rate. Thank you very much. It was a great stay!!!

Columbine Inn deserved an excellent rating in every area. Cleanliness, comfortability, design, and freshness. The cleanliness was not only inside, but the beautiful property was immaculate and very well cared for and clean with a wonderful gazebo. Elk were numerous within minutes, and the best pizza in Estes is located immediately next door. The beautiful hostess was wonderful, happy, knowledgable, and desired your stay to be excellent! Coziness is obvious there!

Columbine Inn deserved an excellent rating in every area. Cleanliness, comfortability, design, and freshness. The cleanliness was not only inside, but the beautiful property was immaculate and very well cared for and clean with a wonderful gazebo. Elk were numerous within minutes, and the best pizza in Estes is located immediately next door. The beautiful hostess was wonderful, happy, knowledgable, and desired your stay to be excellent! Coziness is obvious there!

Very nice updated studio type room. Different kitchenette styles available, ours had a hot plate for cooking and a microwave and refrigerator along with dishes. Bathroom very nice. Loved the fireplace and massage chair especially after long day of hiking. Very clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

It was an amazing, quiet hotel with nice staff and a cool patio with a grill. Shops are a 5-minute drive, and Rocky Mountain National Park is a 10-minute drive. Lake Estes is a 10-minute walking distance.

This motel was spotless inside and out! Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Our bed was very comfortable and pillows were nice. Very nice sheets and towels! Tastefully decorated. Will definitely stay again when in Estes! The only negative is no breakfast but with so many nice restaurants in town wasnt a problem.

I travel a lot, staying in lots of different hotels, motels, etc. Columbine Inn was the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Very quiet area. Friendly staff. Room was comfortable and had all the things we could need.

Great little motel with quaint, newer decor perfect for the area. The staff was very friendly, the room was well-appointed, & the king mattress was very comfortable. It was quite convenient to all of Estes Park. The only negative was that the tile floor was dirty & hadn't been mopped recently because our socks & feet were nearly black on the bottom. Other than that, it was a terrific stay that we really enjoyed.

Glad that the property was recently renovated and felt new inside. However, the room was quite small and tight for 2 people. And it could be improved by adding more lighting around the closet area and adding a shelf to the bathroom as there is so counter space whatsoever. Overall I would recommend this to others.

Clean, cozy, and updated. However, the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. Felt like I was waking up every 30 minutes to try and get more comfortable. I feel like my sleep quality is the most important factor when I get a hotel, so 3 stars.

Staff was able to book me in early and have a key waiting for me when I got there. Guy that cleaned the rooms was very friendly. Could not afford Saturday night, but Sunday night was reasonable.

This place was perfect for an over night before heading into RMNP. Not sure about the rest of the property, but our room had clearly been taken down to the studs and remodeled in the past few years. Clean, comfortable, stylish, and the perfect nights stay. This is a motel...meaning you pull your car right up to the door which is perfect to unload your gear right from trunk to room. Can't say enough great things about this place. Oh and the woman who checked us in was charming, helpful, and nice as can be. If in Estes Park again, we will stay here.

The staff member at check in was so friendly, right off the bat! The room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked without any issue and cooled the room well. I was only there for one short night and it was perfect!

Everything was wonderful except at check-in we got some resistance when we needed a rollaway bed. The front desk person was not attempting to help us resolve our issue. After going back to the front desk a second time, we finally were able to get some extra comforters.

I had a great stay at the Columbine Inn. It's conveniently located, has great views, and is close enough to walk to downtown for coffee or a meal. The rooms are clean and modernized and it was a nice place to stay.

This place is small, with not great views; but, those great views are only a few steps away! The room I stayed in was really nice, and very clean! Staff is friendly, and very helpful. It’s a really nice place to stay!

Columbine Inn was the perfect accommodation for our quick Rocky Mountain getaway—it’s 10 minutes away from the Beaver Meadows park entrance, close to a number of restaurants and grocery stores, and an affordable, clean, and quiet place to rest. Upon our check-in day, we arrived a few hours early to see if they provided luggage storage, however the lobby was closed. No problem. We were about to head to the park, when a kind team member waved us down, opened the lobby for us, and allowed us an early check-in! Columbine Inn is a comfy, no-frills option that still offers perks such as free parking, appliances and toiletries at a great price. We would definitely return.

It was an amazing, quiet hotel with nice staff and a cool patio with a grill. Shops are a 5-minute drive, and Rocky Mountain National Park is a 10-minute drive. Lake Estes is a 10-minute walking distance.

Great little place! Modern room with mini fridge, microwave and Keurig style coffee maker. Bathroom was stocked with bath and body works eucalyptus products. Bed was comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. Light outside the room was very bright which was great for security lol, but it shined through the blinds a bit until it finally went off pretty late at night. Not sure if this is normal, but sign and lights by road were not lit early on the am, making it difficult to find this place in the dark. There is a pizza place and a liquor store in the next parking lot over which is very convenient. Overall it was a fabulous place to stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Room was very clean. The manager was extremely nice and helpful. She provided information about the area and answered questions. Frig and microwave in the room was nice. No continental breakfast but free coffee.

What a gem! We stayed in room 18, a king studio with kitchenette and patio. It seemed to be recently remodeled with a full size refrigerator, small cooktop, coffee maker, microwave and even basic dishes and pots and pans. There was a small counter against the wall with two stools for dining. The seating are and bed were both so comfortable! The patio had a table and chairs for my morning tea. We even had a rabbit visit in the early evening. Highly recommend!

I had a great stay at the Columbine Inn. It's conveniently located, has great views, and is close enough to walk to downtown for coffee or a meal. The rooms are clean and modernized and it was a nice place to stay.

The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The Columbine has been remodeled into a very clean and neat motel. There was no breakfast served during the time we stayed there. This was a little disappointing. Even though the room doesn't have a mountain view, several minutes after leaving the driveway, there is one. We would stay here again.

The motel is clean, comfortable & have high end amenities (keurig coffee machine in the room, bath & body works stress relief shampoo, conditioner & moisturizer, etc). The star of this motel is the reception mgr, Indra. She’s very kind & helpful. We will stay here the next time coming back to Estes park

We were in Estes for a family reunion so we basically needed a place to sleep because we’d be busy during the day. The motel was super clean and had been recently completely renovated. I learned from the hostess at the front desk that the owners had basically gutted the entire motel and started over. The bed was comfy, the coffee in the Kcup machine was good, the water was hot, the shower was great and was nice and tall, the towels and sheets were good quality, I appreciated the liquid hand soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner that was available, the room had a fridge and microwave, I was happy to see the hair dryer and Kleenexes, and there was a wardrobe with an extra blanket and hangers along with a drawer. You could tell they had thought of all of the basic comforts a traveler would need—and this was just a plain, single room. The decor was a blend of minimalist modern and classic and not the kitsch mountain decor that’s often overwhelming in some places. Some of their other rooms offer even more amenities like a fireplace. The lobby had a water dispenser with hot and cold water that we utilized every day. They don’t have offer breakfast but Estes had a ton of food choices (including coffee shops, a crepe place, and a bagel store). Best of all, the check-in experience was simple even though we came into town late and the office had closed. And, when we had a chance to interact with the hostess, she was warm and friendly and a pleasure to get to know.

This is the first review I have ever written, but I wanted to share our excellent stay. The motel looked like a hundred other mom and pop motels from the 50’s, but it has been completely renovated and we were very happy with our stay. We even had an elk stop by on our first night to welcome us!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay at the Columbine Inn. We loved that it is located on the east side of Estes Park (near the lake) and away from the hustle and bustle of the city near Rocky Mountain NP. Many restaurants are located in close proximity. The Inn has been thoughtfully remodeled and updated. The staff—shout out to Shirley!—was great! Shirley was most helpful and super friendly and personable. She takes a great deal of pride in what she does—very dedicated to her guests. Breakfast was ample with lots of choices. The room was very quiet, very clean and a great hot shower! This is a wonderful place to stay for a stay in Estes Park and we loved supporting the mom and pop establishments and this was a great choice!
