Perfectly peaceful property on the lake. Lots of activities. We loved the free firewood and large firepit right next to the lake. Check in and out was easy and quick. Clean and inviting.

I returned to Delton Oaks after a good stay in 2024. Our total stay was 5 days w/ my 2 kids. The grounds are great for the kids: pool, swing, play in the sand, observe the ducks, and cook smores over the campfire. Friday nights, they have music, and it's a nice vibe. My kids enjoyed playing with the other kids staying at the resort. The pullout bed needs to be replaced, you can feel the springs in the mattress. my son couldn't sleep on it. The bedroom is tight, but beds are comfortable. Would be nice if there were night stands, to place things. There are no hooks in the bathroom or by the door to hang towels, keys, bags, etc. Friday night the long-term maintenance man whose room was above ours played music the entire night and all we heard was bass. I spoke with the front desk, who was kind and said she'd speak with him about the noise level. Saturday night was worse, the resort is a pet friendly space, which isn't a problem EXCEPT when the dogs are barking non-stop throughout the night. the Long-term maintenance man, brought in 2 dogs and we were woken up at 2am to non-stop barking. I called the emergency numbers listed at the office window with no answer. My daughter had a big day on Sunday and needed to get some sleep, she resorted to sleeping in our vehicle. I went to check on her at 3:30am and 2 women came to the resort and walked into the man's room. I asked them to handle the dogs, they were rude and slammed the door. The owner has done nothing to make things right.

We rented 3 rooms for a family vacation and my adult children loved that their children were able to play without a lot of traffic. The pool and lake were short distances away from our rooms and the rooms were exactly what the pictures showed. We were glad that we had read all the room amenities as we planned on cooking most of our meals, but guest services had what we needed to finishing prepping our meals. Stores and attractions were just minutes away, but we enjoyed the family time at the property, we even tried paddleboarding for the first time. Only negative was we felt the price to rent the pontoon was expensive, so we did not rent one but we did not check other businesses to price compare either, so it may have been a normal price. We all(6 adults, 3 teens, 2 preteens) said would stay again.

We loved our stay at Delton Oaks Resort! The private beach, free kayaks and paddleboards, and cozy updated rooms made it a true home away from home. The staff went above and beyond, and the location is unbeatable — close to the Dells’ attractions but still quiet and relaxing

The main electric fire pit doesn’t work. The paddle boards are extremely old and broken. Two didn’t even have fins impossible to use. The kayaks in the same condition. The rooms are well kept. Parking easy pool had a lot of bugs and debris in it, pool chairs were nice. The docks appear old and rickety .. It could be a really nice place but definitely needs some updating on the amenities.

Great hotel! I will definitely be back! We went for automotion so parking ended up being an issue however, on any other weekend the parking would be sufficient. Great beach area with dock and a place to build a nice bonfire!

The picture when booking the Stay was accurate. Although the room was old run down and when you opened the door you smelled musty, old, damp. a de-humidifier should have been in there and running. The owner was rude, yelling and disrespectful. If he treats all guests, this way. NOT good for business. I WOULD not recommend this place. it's unfortunate as the view was the best offer. No maid service, you take out your own trash. The pool was dirty. no amenities

Staff was very nice and helpful when it came to booking. However, the very outside of my room door had matted hair on the door mat, my sheets had stains, old bottled waters from someone else’s stay was in the fridge & opening the bottom of stove to find pots n pans was filthy:( other than that, nice area. Enjoyed the lake view and private pool they have.

My room was disgusting. The floor was so dirty i kept my sandles on everywhere i walked otherwise my feet were black on the bottom. The kitchen sink was dirty. The top two sheets on the bed had numerous dirty spots. The coffee maker was dirty . I literally cleaned our room with what i had with me as best as i could. Definitely do not recommend and the guy at the desk was very unfriendly. I will not be going back.

The resort is dirty. There was a strange smell in the room. The air conditioner was very noisy. The room is different from the photos. When the door was opened, many flies flew into the room. Flying around, we couldn't sleep at night. The service of the resort staff is very good. Ask the staff if you can reduce the one-night stay and refund the money. At that time, it was ok. We stayed here on a 2 family vacation with our young kids. We loved the location being right on the water with a good view. The pool was fun and the kids got a quick out of that. We also enjoyed being 10 minutes or less to everything we wanted to go do and explore. Unfortunately, and this speaks to the Panoramic Villa, not the whole resort—but the place itself was a disaster. There was mold in the bathrooms and under the kitchen sink (where the pots were stored.) Our socks and feet were black from the dirty floors so I had to start having the kids wear their shoes inside. And my niece is a baby so she was crawling all over in the grossness…We also had to make several trips to Walmart to get supplies we needed, like a bathtub drain and a pack and play. I’ve never stayed at a hotel or resort that didn’t offer pack and plays, especially at this price point. The grill also needed to be fixed and took about 2 hours for them to finish. Oh also our bedroom door didn’t shut because the floor was uneven and we had no where to plug in our baby monitor or phones (near the bed.) I had to unplug the room light to plug in our sound machine because the outlet wasn’t holding the plug. If you need a place to stay for a lot of people, I wouldn’t recommend this place but you’ll survive. Definitely not family-friendly!

Ended up in a unit that had not been remodeled. Was dirty with no soap, shampoo, hair dryer as advertised. You have to take out your own garbage and no house keeping for your stay. For paying a couple hundred a night i expected a better room. Balcony a mess with bugs everywhere and found a piece of cheese in the wrapper in between the stove and counter. I am very disappointed about this property and dont usually leave reviews but took my mom there for her birthday and it was very drab and run down. The positive was the beds were decent and comfortable. Besides that i would think twice about spending your money there unless your guaranteed to get a remodeled room. Was looking forward to this resort but it was a big let down. I have been going to the dells since i was a kid but this was by far my worst experience.

This property sits on a beautify lake. That is about it. The beach area is small but pretty. However, the hotel and area around it is super run down. This could be a gem of a place. The towels are so gross and old. Disgusting. We went and bought our own to shower with. The bathroom is gross and needs everything new and updated. The walls are peeling. Some of the updates in the room are fine. The pool area is from the 70s. The house that sits in the middle of the resort area looks awful and needs pushed over. I feel bad saying all of this but it is just in need of a lot. It is a perfect spot but needs some investment and love put into it.

The rooms were nice and spacious, however, it would be nice if you provide a few bowls, plates, and/or containers to use. Also, there were only 2 lounge chairs on the beach. It would have been much nicer to have more of these accessible to your guests than just the chairs at the patio tables

The view from the upper balcony suite was great! Staff were very friendly. Parking availability was challenging at times. Room was older but with updates in progress. Pictures online gave a different impression of what the room would look like. Had to ask for a hair dryer and ironing board as other places include. Other rooms were quite loud and drinking outside until 2 am. Lighting in the room gave a cold and uninviting vibe. Could use a lamp or two.

Oh also our bedroom door didn’t shut because the floor was uneven and we had no where to plug in our baby monitor or phones (near the bed.) I had to unplug the room light to plug in our sound machine because the outlet wasn’t holding the plug. If you need a place to stay for a lot of people, I wouldn’t recommend this place but you’ll survive. Definitely not family-friendly!

They are packing people into the motel style rooms, with promise of beach, which was small and water un-swimmable by August (algae and duck poop). Stay did not reflect the images on the site. The rooms looked amazing on the website, but getting there and seeing the reality was disappointing. Just looked like a much bigger space. My boyfriend is 6’2” and couldn’t feel comfortable anywhere in our room. It was an okay stay.

We were coming through the Dells on our trip. We booked the Delton Oaks Resort because they had a room that fit all 7 of us. It had 3 queen beds and a sofa bed. The room was nice. It was a little small with the 7 of us and all of our stuff. It is in a good location and easy to get to. We had a nice balcony in the front with tables and chairs that overlooks the lake. We were checking in late so we called and she had the room all set up with extra towels for us! Easy in and easy out!

I returned to Delton Oaks after a good stay in 2024. Our total stay was 5 days w/ my 2 kids. The grounds are great for the kids: pool, swing, play in the sand, observe the ducks, and cook smores over the campfire. Friday nights, they have music, and it's a nice vibe. My kids enjoyed playing with the other kids staying at the resort. The pullout bed needs to be replaced, you can feel the springs in the mattress. my son couldn't sleep on it. The bedroom is tight, but beds are comfortable. Would be nice if there were night stands, to place things. There are no hooks in the bathroom or by the door to hang towels, keys, bags, etc. Friday night the long-term maintenance man whose room was above ours played music the entire night and all we heard was bass. I spoke with the front desk, who was kind and said she'd speak with him about the noise level. Saturday night was worse, the resort is a pet friendly space, which isn't a problem EXCEPT when the dogs are barking non-stop throughout the night. the Long-term maintenance man, brought in 2 dogs and we were woken up at 2am to non-stop barking. I called the emergency numbers listed at the office window with no answer. My daughter had a big day on Sunday and needed to get some sleep, she resorted to sleeping in our vehicle. I went to check on her at 3:30am and 2 women came to the resort and walked into the man's room. I asked them to handle the dogs, they were rude and slammed the door. The owner has done nothing to make things right.

The room was great. It was definitely a very old property, but looked like it was being updated. Very cute and great view from the lake view balcony. Loved the little beach, swings and small pool as it was private. The property was fantastic, but on our second night, there was a huge fight going on with some other tenants in a cabin. It was after 8pm and no one is in the office then. So we called the emergency number for after hours. When the person answered they were so drunk they couldnt hold a converstation with my wife. They said they would handle it but it was highly doubtful the man even understood what was going on. We ended up calling the cops as the fight had escalated. When we told the staff at our check out about the incident they seemed like they didn't care. My family was outside playing at the time the fight broke out and for safety reasons, we had to go to our room with our 2 small children. We were unable to be outside the rest of the evening. The fight clearly wasn't the resort's fault but the interaction with the drunk employee was really upsetting. Thankfully the police escourted the people off the property and we didnt need to listen to the cusing and screaming anymore. The way this was handled impacted our stay negatively.

Was very impressed with our stay at Delton Oaks! From the updated rooms to the sand beach we had a very pleasant experience. It was never overly crowded and easy to maneuver. On Thursday night they had live music, adult beverages, and ice cream. The staff was also very attentive to any questions or needs we had. Isabelle was always on top of any questions we had and would assist us with any room needs immediately. The owner Michelle was also there to assist with any needs or questions and very friendly! Overall this was a great place to stay and we will definitely recommend to others!

Room was recently updated. Very old building. When I got there I had to wait 20!minutes in my truck to wait for a worker to drive to the office to get me a key to my room. The next morning I went to check out and again nobody was there . Very strange that the entire stay nobody was in the office?

The picture when booking the Stay was accurate. Although the room was old run down and when you opened the door you smelled musty, old, damp. a de-humidifier should have been in there and running. This was our first time visiting Wisconsin and our first family vacation. The room was a major let down. There is one small window unit meant to cool the entire area. Even while sleeping with the bedroom doors open it remains hot. The back bedroom was microscopic and you had to turn sideways to shuffle into bed. The bed size is advertised as Queen. They are definitely Full. There was NO WiFi. None. There is also no cell service due to the proximity of the lake. Very inconvenient and not as advertised. The TV’s did not work. One bedroom TV we had to program ourselves. The living room we had to speak with the office because the correct remote wasn’t provided. The kitchen might as well not be in the room. There is no dishes, one coffee cup and a few random kitchen utensils. They did say to bring paper plates but you will not be able to cook so there’s no point in doing so. Before you check out you need to gather your trash and take it to the dumpster. Very odd. It had the feeling of a 1970’s motel on a lake. I would not describe as a hotel much less as a resort. Sadly, the photos used to advertise, do not match the room you get.
