Holiday Inn Express is a great buy! It has free chargers. However, only 1 worked!

Wonderful little hotel with a great indoor pool and hot tub. Very clean

The pool and hot tub were out of order, which is why we picked this hotel. No discount was offered. So.e walls were half-painted, so it looked a bit trashy. The eating area for breakfast is very nice.

Staff was friendly. Room was decent. Hot tub quit working 3rd day we were there.

The staff was helpful during my stay. The only negative was the elevator did not work properly, which caused me to use the stairs most of the time.

Conveniently located by the red rocks and look out view mountain. Check in was a breeze. Pool and hot tub area were clean and enjoyable. Would book here again.

We stayed 5 nights here while visiting family. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. Everything was in working order: pool, hot tub, ice machines, elevators. Breakfast was nice and the attendant kept everything neat and clean. Our room was cleaned everyday. I would not hesitate to stay again!

We had a great stay here. The only criticism I have regarding our stay was the cleanliness of floors and tables. Our room was clean, however, the elevators, the hallways, and lobby floor were pretty consistently dirty. That was slightly off putting. The tables during breakfast could have used a more frequent wipe down. Other than that the staff was lovely and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Clean quiet hotel

Very clean hotel.

When we got to our room and checked in it was an overwhelming musty smell in the room. I noticed that the window was cracked open so it's obviously something they were aware of. In the bathroom there was mildew and mold in all the grout and on the ceiling in the bathroom which had recently been repaired but not finished from a previous water leak. There was not vent fan in the bathroom so it's obvious that's how it got in the condition it was. There was trash all over the hallways and it looked like the hotel had not been cleaned. Went to use the hot tub and it was about the same temp as the pool which was also littered with trash and dirty towels laying all over. The elevator floors were sticky and had not been cleaned for some time and one was broken and would not go to the top floor of the hotel but was "ok" to service the other floors. Overall very disappointing stay as we have stayed here several times before in previous years. I'm assuming management switched and the decline in maintenance and cleanliness is very noticeable.

Breakfast was amazing and the staff were friendly. However, the entire hotel needs an upgrade as far as cleanliness goes. The bathroom had mold and the floor was gross. We questioned whether the sheets were washed. The carpet in the hallways was buckling up and very dirty. Needs shampooing.

The room was great-clean, comfortable. The hallways were not-needed vacuuming and shampooing. They were so dirty!

I had called ahead of time and was told the pool and hot tub were operating as normal. Arrived to find a yellow, dingey, film covered hot tub that was out of order but the pool was great. It could use a ton of detail cleaning and simple dusting in corners, edges as well as behind or under things where kids might lose things. Boogers all over the walls was gross. Breakfast was a fail especially for the kids. The eggs all had onions and peppers in them and the flavor was straight peppers. Syrup was not a good flavor and tasted nothing like syrup. It was loud all night! If doors werent slamming the AC sounds like a diesel engine when it kicks on. The (dirty) shower had very little pressure and made an awful squealing sound the whole time. I wouldn't complain so much if this room wasn't so expensive.

Probably one of the worst holiday inns we’ve stayed at. Hotel was dirty. Weird white powder all over the hallway. We asked 3 times for them to change pull out bed sheets because they were dirty when we arrived and it was never done. They never had enough breakfast each morning.

I liked the room, the location and the price. I feel that I received value for what I paid. There was only one hiccup and that was that the tv did not have a signal.

The location was great, the room was clean and comfortable. The occupants below me were a little loud. Overall, the breakfast menu was fresh and had a great number of options. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others if they were looking at staying in the area.

Clean, confortable room. Out of my 20 hotel stays in the past year, the wifi is the absolute worst. Even straight text/image news stories took so long to load that websites would send error codes. Tried reconnecting several times but no joy.

Extremely clean and comfortable. Friendly staff and actually enjoyed the breakfast when I don’t usually like hotel breakfasts. Quiet with no traffic noise. Very close (only minutes) to Red Rocks and Golden restaurants and shopping.

Front desk were friendly and efficient. Got checked in quickly. Room was clean and bigger than expected. Very happy with everything.

We first arrived at 11:30pm after a long day of flying - we’d stopped for food and had hoped to have a quick and easy check in to go up to our room to eat. We typically have no issues with hotels.com bookings. The lady at the desk clicked a few things, gave us our key cards, and then forgot as we were walking away to have me sign a form (this whole process took 5-7 minutes). I sent my partner up to the room while I signed the form. He called me and said “there’s a tag on the door that says ‘not ready’”. By the time I made it up he’d tried opening the door but it was safety/emergency latched and we heard someone IN THE ROOM! They gave us keys to a room with a person in it - thank God I was with him and not by myself, and thank God that person had the latch pulled. We went back downstairs a little confused and shaken and the woman at the front apologized, then spent at least another 15 minutes clicking on her computer to tell us that she doesn’t have any rooms with the same bed size. At this point my blood sugar was low, we were exhausted, and I was trying my best to stay civil. Told her to put us in whatever room they had available and we’d talk to the manager in the morning - funny how with the mention of a manager we immediately were put in a room. The manager then told us she wouldn’t refund any amount because we booked through a third party. Overall one of the worst, and most dangerous, hotel experiences I’ve had yet. The view from the room was nice and breakfast was good.

Check-in was a disaster. Called that afternoon stating we would be driving in and arriving at midnight. We arrived at 12:15AM and got the keys to the room. When my wife tried opening the door, the inside latch kept her from going in. Turns out someone was sleeping in the room already. They put us in 2 rooms after about a 30 minute delay for the night to accommadate but there was no bedding for the pullout bed. They gave us sheets but had no comforter available. Breakfast was equally as bad as there was no milk and the juice was warm. Staff was absent to clean tables or empty the trash

This hotel was great….until they doubled charged us. We booked through hotels.com paid in full and then got a $166 charge from the hotel also. We have not had much help fixing this. We have a few holiday inn express rooms book for a big family holiday trip. I think I’m going to cancel can’t trust this company.

Asked for a late checkout for a scheduling conflict we had and was denied. Then when checking out watched two other customers granted late checkout.

We needed a little help at check in because we booked two nights, (Thursday & Friday) at two different times. Woman at the front desk was very helpful & friendly through the check in process & answered every question. She was a great help!

Initial front desk staff told us we had to wait until someone came back. We returned in about 20 minutes and were told our room was not ready. Our room was ready 1 1/2 hour after check in time. The following day our rooms keys didn’t work, and we had to return to the front desk and was issued new keys. Breakfast was decent, but ran out quickly. Between the delay, new room cards and breakfast running out, maybe we should have been offered some kind of discount

Really great location if you are looking to head out of town quickly without the bother of traffic. Not a lot of eating options nearby. Safe, quiet, and clean!

We had a great stay for one night. The room was clean, hotel was quiet, beds were comfortable, check n was fast and easy, and the free continental breakfast was good. The free parking was appreciated. The hotel's location was a little odd near the intersection of busy streets, and across the parking lot from a pot shop.

Convenient property to Golden. Had a family emergency and hotel location provided an easy way in and out off the property. Free parking. Included breakfast. Would stay again.

Close to Red Rocks! Can’t beat the location if you are travelling to the amphitheater.

I did not like that there was no bacon for breakfast. Everything else was good

Breakfast was supposed to be ready at 630. Eggs finally brought out at 645. Gravy at 7. Biscuits at 710. We finally left at 730 and bacon/sausage was never brought out. Cook walked down the hallway at 710 didn’t show back up for over 10 minutes.

Nice property just a quick stay but friendly staff clean comfortable room and convenient breakfast. Good breakfast selection although temp of food was hit or miss.

The rooms like nice and clean, however, nothing works. I had two rooms and in both rooms the TVs quit working the night of the first stay and never came back. The wifi worked for about an hour then quit and I had to use my hotspot on my phone. The wifi connected but there was never any internet connection. Then breakfast the next day was really bad. The eggs were cold and not cooked all the way. The sausage tasted days old and the cinnamon rolls were cold and hard. I had a noise issue too but the front desk took care of that. I stay at holiday inns alot because they are almost all good but not this one. Never again.

Its a Holiday Inn. It was clean, but dated. I've stayed here a few times. Breakfast is supposed to start at 6:30am. However, they do not get all the hot food set up until after 7. Which is not convenient since my meetings start at 7.

My only complaint is no bacon refil. We had breakfast twice and each time there was a bacon and sausage situation where everyone was waiting on the meats. I gave up waiting. I think some finally came
