If you are looking for a place to stay with all the bells and whistles, this is not the place for you. If you need a pool and exercise room and breakfast, choose another option. Frankly, when I saw the price for a night here, I was expecting a dump! I am glad to say that it is no such place. The room was very comfortable with Tv, study desk, fridge and microwave. The entire place was immaculately clean. The staff (of one? at least that is all we ever saw) was very attentive, helpful and welcoming. The room gave evidence of being recently painted. Overall, our three nights in the area to see a grandson were very pleasant. I recommend this Econo Lodge if you need the basics at a VERY reasonable price.

This property was very dirty. Had bullet holes in the walls and the bathroom wasn't clean and the hallways was very creepy and scary the walls in the halls were boarded up. It was just very uncomfortable

The Lady at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. Parts of the building was under construction was the only complaints. A nice Restaurant was in walking distance.

Not a bad place for the price. If you are looking for a place to sleep for the night with no bells and whistles, this will work!

Staff was very nice and got me checked in fast. Was nice and quiet in the room and outside area what little I was outside getting luggage from my truck to take in. Had gotten caught in rain down in southern states that day so clothes got wet in my suitcase and was able to use the laundry facilities to dry them. The washer/dryers take both quarters or you can download an app and add money to that then pay to do laundry thru that app someway. I chose to get change to do my drying since it was just the one load I needed to do but to have other options was nice!!

I arrived on 6/28 to find the hotel closed by the fire marshall due to fire. The manager tried to call me at 3:43 on 6/28...past cancellation policy time, but I was driving there. He told me to contact Expedia, who would contact the hotel so I could get refunded. Expedia has not been able to get a hold of anyone to refund my $76.10 to me. I have used this hotel multiple times and this is VERY disappointing to me.

An old property that needs a lot of maintenance.

Old hotel. Shower was awkward. Nothing nearby. Otherwise it was a typical cheap hotel

Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It looks like they are updating the rest of the property, our room was already updated. It was just noisy with the other guests.

First, the email address confirmation had the property's location about 5 miles away, so we had to "Google" the property to find it. The air conditioner would NOT cool the room. And showers from other rooms flooded our room through the walls and bathroom door casing. We couldn't leave fast enough. On the upside, the ice maker worked great!

Air conditioner leaks water on the floor inside. Shower was dirty. Floor was dirty. Exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work people arguing in the hallway

This Propert could have so much potential if they would do a better JOB of cleaning .. the sheets are HEAVLY STAINED. The walls in the rooms are busted with holes and stained . Towels are very stained .. they may need to change the washing products they use or use BLEACH to clean the bacteria . Around the property could be cleaned a little better it’s Smells of Smoke Very badly and animals

They tell you no smoking but the hallways smell terrible, an ash tray. The room was okay. The bathroom, gross. There was hair left over from the last however many people. Other peoples hygine products were left on top of the walk-in shower. The water was luke warm, bathroom sink and shower.

The bed had hair in it, and both the sheets and comforter were stained. I asked for new sheets and a new comforter. New sheets were provided after a short delay. I was refused a new comforter because, as I was told, there were no extras. Keep in mind that this hotel seemed virtually vacant. Rather than be given a different room (or even a comforter from a different room), I slept with only a set of sheets. The man working the counter seemed cold and indifferent. I would not stay here again.

**DO NOT STAY IN THIS PLACE** The whole place smells like a strange mixture between drvgs and vomit. The door didn't close from the inside and not to mention the bathroom, which was full of mold. The shower had white particles that we didn't know what it was about. We were only there the time necessary to find a better place to stay. We would NEVER go back.

I choose to stay here because of the price and other comment reviews were decent. This is an older motel with some updates. Which was not the issue. When we entered our room the floor was sticky. So everywhere we walked our shoes were sticking to the floor. The bathroom door had no door knob. The night stands were dusty and one even a had what looked like chip crumbs. The restaurant /bar next door played very loud music most of the night and also had a DJ. Truthfully I'm still shocked we stayed but it was non refundable so we stuck it out one night of 2. Got up early the next morning, didn't even shower and check out. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Hampton Inn just up the road.

When we first got to the room it was fine until we opened the fridge to find mold growing in there. After that i proceded to take a shower only to realize that the walls had curly little hairs all over it. I took a washcloth and wiped down the walls the white washcloth then became black. It makes me wonder if they clean how they are supposed to or just do a quick reset. I underatand this is a cheaper establishment, but its still unacceptable.

Bathrooms coveted in mold and dried dirt. Hallways smelt like smoke and were loud. Terrible experience and I refused to stay there. Would not offer me a tefund

Room was filthy and had to have it redone. Better, but glad I bought Lysol wipes! Dirty towel behind bathroom door. Another guests garbage on the shower ledge. Broken microwave. Broken door lock. Would not recommend this place to a dying dog.

Mad at water pressure

The air did not work, I was very hot. The bathroom was in poor condition. The door lock was damaged.

Staying here for work, has been relatively quiet. Staff is freindly and courteous, building and grounds are clean. Room is spacious and beds are comfortable.

No frills, clean, comfortable bed and pillow. Hot shower. Small fridge/freezer, microwave. No coffee maker.

Unfortunately, we had a struggle to get hot water and heat. Neat and clean, nice beds. Thank you.

It was convenient to get to the National Park. Our air conditioning did not cool the room

It has been remodeled somewhat recently. No carpeting in the room, no towel bars in the bathroom for hand towels. Very basic in extras. It did have a refrigerator and microwave, but no coffee maker, hair dryer, luggage rack, closet, or safe that i saw. When you arrive and check-in, you then drive around to rhe closest door to your room to go in. Using your room key to open the outside door to get into the building, the key card unlocked the door, but the door stuck so we thought it didn't unlock until a 3rd try and had to pull with a lot of effort to get the door to open... same with the room door, shut and opened very hard. The rooms bathroom had a mildew smell and the stand up shower had cracked and chipped tiles in it. The bed was comfortable. Seemed new and new bed frame. Not wooden. The room had this dirty laminate floor, no carpet or rugs. I regretted not bringing some slippers to have on in the room. So it felt kinda cold, not inviting or warm to be in. Overall, it was exactly what i figured for the money. We get what we paid for. A place to rest at leaat.

Car alarms going off all night long. People dogs barking in the hallways. Hotel room doors slamming into the night and into the early morning. When the noise was brought up to the hotel receptionist nothing was done. We stayed 2 nights with very little sleep due to the noise from other guest.Hotel smelt like smoke even though the hotel is non smoking.

Staff was professional and courteous; room was clean; environment was comfortable and quiet.

There's really nothing I liked about this hotel especially tell me I was going to take 5 to 7 days to get my deposit back on my card which is ridiculous

Just like my first stay, clean, comfy room and friendly, helpful staff. They are also honest in their relationship to guests. I like that! I will stay in the future and it's my first choice now when I go to Portage.

They couldn't seem to find my updated reservation where I prepaid for two additional nights, the front desk clerk was very rude.

Friendly staff

The room was disgusting, there was mold and spider webs. There was also left over drug tools left in the room as well as broken glass. Place is unsafe, half the doors are boarded up. I cant believe expedia represents this place and the only reason we stayed is because it was too late and couldnt get a refund

Even though the price is temping, do NOT stay here. Our room stank of smoke. There was paint peeling off the walls, and the hallways looked like a warehouse or jail. The bathroom was moldy, the floor was cracked and uneven, and the area and hotel felt dangerous. I left the hotel before even sleeping here because I was concerned my car would get keyed. There’s not even anyone staying here to begin with, and the parking lot was mostly empty. I think everyone gets the idea that this hotel and neighborhood are both beyond saving. Now all we need is for the hotel to go out of business and get demolished for everyone’s good. Do NOT stay here whatever you do.

We didn’t even feel safe enough to stay here, we left after someone kept watching us and waited outside our door!!! We didn’t even go in the room! We only needed to stay here one night to sleep and got it because it was cheap and every other hotel was almost 200$ for one night. Trust me pay the 200$ for any other place than here!

The first I was assigned had full trash cans and dirty towels on the bathoom floor. I went to the front desk to request a different room, which was provided. The room was stifling. No AC had been left on. The door didn’t close tightly and the jam was cracked. The floors were dirty and the shower so nasty I didn't use it. I brought in my own pillow and blanket and dealt with it. Pretty hypocritical for them to charge me a pet fee for my dog when the room was a disaster to begin with. When I went to check out I thought to get my "free" cup of coffee. The coffee maker was gross and no cups. I guess I dodged what was probably horrible coffee.
