This is not a fancy hotel by any means, but it serves its purpose. The owner is very kind. We accidentally left something and he called me right away before I had gotten too far. We literally just slept there and was gone during the day visiting family. I assume you get a lot of fishermen and folks visiting an inmate at the prison. It’s conveniently positioned across the street from a Piggly Wiggly grocery store and a Pizza Hut. There’s also a grill you can use outside. My only complaint would be that in room 119, the AC had a difficult time cooling the room off since the sun shone directly on the window, but again, at night time, it was perfectly fine. The other issue was the door to that room. It didn’t close well and had gaps around it. Overall, we never felt unsafe and we would stay again.

This is a great deal if you want just basic amenities (wifi, TV with numerous channels), given the outrageous prices now charged by many lodgings. Great if you want to be away from the hubbub, quiet but only a few miles from the interstate highway, Clean, with just a few signs of aging.

My wife and I had fire ants Wake us up at 12 am in our bed crawling on us both my wife got bit severely on her back .I contacted management and was offered a sorry and the room nextdoor at 12 am we would have to make sure everything was ant free in our room and then try to go back asleep I think not .we decided to leave at 1:30 am after making sure we would not bring fire ants with us in our car . honestly I think the manager should have offered to refund us at least that nights stay for the inconvenience and my wife's pain from biting ants from our bed but Arabs don't care about anything but renting rooms to make the owners happy .I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone unless you are a pest control technician that brings any spray with you . honestly I would have taken a option to stay at a later date next time I was in town.but GREED Don't care about any one but itself. We're looking forward to staying somewhere else in Sneads Florida next time we are here.

It was a very remote location, which I chose intentionally. I got the Jacuzzi suite, and it was soo worth the time and money. Can't wait to visit again, and hopefully, get the same courtesy as I did the last visit
