Hampton Inn Hernando

Everything was first class.. very clean.. comfortable beds and breakfast was much better than most. Staff very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend👍

We overnighted here on our way to The Lake Of The Ozarks and we stayed here again on our way home because we liked it so well. The property overall is great. The rooms, the breakfast, the location, the town of Hernando is lovely and the staff is great. A special shout out to NELDA again check us in. Recovering from a broken femur and she was kind enough to find us a handicap room on the first floor near the pool so that I could take a dip after the long drive and again recommend good restaurants. She is the perfect person for her job. Always lovely to chat with and learn about her beautiful town, Hernando. We met Jamie this morning and she was also very helpful. We really enjoy this property and we would not stay anywhere else when in this area.

With a really enjoyed our stay at this Hampton Inn. Everything is clean and up-to-date. All staff members that we encountered were very courteous and helpful. I’d like to give a special shout out to the lovely lady who checked us in on Thursday, August 13 at about 4:30 PM. So sorry I can’t remember her name. It wasn’t busy at the time and we had a lovely chat about the town of Hernando, which my husband and I found very very charming. She was clearly very proud of her town and well she should be. She gave us recommendations on her favorite restaurants. We tried one of them which was great and only a couple of miles from the hotel. Mr. CHEN‘ S kitchen. She suggested takeout. The place is not much to look at, but the food was fabulous and the menu is extremely extensive and very reasonable. Highly recommend. Our room was squeaky clean, the beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was quite large and very well equipped. The hotel is near a busy road. It was totally quiet in our room. The buffet breakfast was great with many many selections. This is such an added value. The day before, we had breakfast at a Cracker Barrel on the road and it cost us about $35 for a typical breakfast, including tax and tip. Free here, we are headed to Lake Of The Ozarks for vacation and on our way home we will overnight at this hotel. We enjoyed both the hotel and the town of Hernando.
