The Gibson Inn

Superbe découverte. Hôtel avec une âme, chambres et tous les espaces aménagés avec beaucoup de goût, personnel très serviable. Belle piscine en attente d’inspection pour ouverture prochaine.

Motel historique d accord mais extrêmement cher en terme de services . Dans tous les hôtels que nous avons fait précédemment ( 18 en tout en 3 semaines ) une bouteille d eau était disponible et gratuite dans la chambre ici elle était facturée 10$ ! Petit déjeuner hors de prix 22$ les oeufs au bacon auquel il fallait rajouter le prix du café ou du jus d orange .. J avais réservé une chambre vue sur baie sauf qu il n y a pas de baie ! L hôtel n est pas directement sur la baie on avait vue sur une rue passante et bruyante ! Et pour couronner le tout il y avait des travaux à 23h30 quelqu un passait le karcher sur le toit et avait mis un groupe électrogène en route ! Seul point positif le balcon avec ses rocking chairs et l esthétisme du inn .

Our room was very clean. Loved the "old" Victorian decor! Bed was super comfy. Shower has 2 shower heads, fits 2 people, marble floor, and gold fixtures! Staff was friendly and nice. The pool was beautiful but we didnt swim. Also has a gorgeous bar, pool room to shoot pool - with original wood floors, all decorated in old Florida Victorian style. They do not offer complimentary water in the room but they do offer it for $8 a bottle, $5 for snacks.

So after coming to visit my parents for 45 years, we sprays had a place to stay but secretly wanted to stay at The Gibson Inn. Finally was able to stay and when we opened the door to our room, I literally gasped from the unexpected beauty of the room. Newly updated and marble flooring throughout, amenities were well thought out including the snack of a Snickers Bar staring at you the entire time at $5. Not for me. But pool and hot tub close at 8pm sadly not allowing any time for us to enjoy with just a single night’s stay. Food selection was very tasty and the vibe screams, “Relax and Enjoy Yourself”. Beds, fantastic!!!

When check out is 11, don't have someone come to the door 3 times before 11. once at 930,950, another at 1025! The Checkout time is 11, dammit! I paid for early check-in, 50$ spent hundreds at your bar, and on brunch. Not a first visitor, love the place, but it's the little things that can irritate customers. All in the rest of the stay was great!
