I went with my daughter for a quick over night trip for her 24th birthday. OCMD has always been our home away from home. This place was so clean and beautiful. The best hotel we’ve ever stayed at in the 21 years we’ve been going there. We had a fun photo shoot wearing the robes! The view from our balcony was breath taking. The back porch on the water was the perfect place to have my morning coffee. The pool was tiny but perfect. Being adults only, you didn’t have to worry about little ones being around. They also had complimentary snacks and bottled water for their guests pool side. Will definitely be back!

This is a beautiful hotel close to everything O.C. has to offer but tucked away on the quiet bayfront. The remodeled room was well done and comfortable. Bathroom although nice could use some grout and caulk cleanup and a new cabinet. Decking is a bit rough but didn't stop us from enjoying the water front view and sunsets. The gathering room is beautiful and comfortable and just a nice place to sit with morning coffee, read a book or just gazing out at the view. Staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. Such a beautiful and relaxing retreat. We will be back!

This property is at the edge of the beautiful bay. They provide a continental, pre-apportioned breakfast already in the personal refrigerator, which saves time running out in the morning and money. They place a water bottle for each person and sodas for each person in the fridge. They serve some alcohol and cookies in the afternoon, and hot drinks are available at all times. They have a related restaurant a short walk away (or drive longer, if you prefer).The common room allows you to see the 180 degrees the bay, a bridge and some wetlands. Check out time is at noon! The winter prices are affordable! This is an adults only place, so no kids for those who want privacy or a romantic time away. The rooms are fairly quiet (no thin walls). We love to come and spend a few days off-season.

Though this is an older building, the rooms were spacious and clean. We enjoyed the balcony and being able to see the sunset on the bay. A continental breakfast was provided in room so we didnt have to leave. I really enjoyed the fresh fruit and several breakfast items to choose from. It was nice to have a bridge to walk to Fragers and if you didnt want to walk the front desk would bring you whatever you needed. The room was reasonably priced. The pool very small.

The property was clean and well-maintained with an interesting historic naval feel about it. The rooms are well appointed and quirky, you really feel like youre living in a lighthouse! There's a beautiful seating area downstairs where you feel like you're in an ancient ship on the sea and you can eat freshly made cookies and drink fresh coffee outside on a rocking chair on the verdanda directly on the water! I could say even more but will stop here, go see it for yourself! We had an absolutely wonderful time. ❤️

The hotel is very neat and right on the water. The room was very nice! The only cons I found was the decks need some repairs and the shower was very difficult to operate.

Although clean, the odors where overwhelming for those with allergies. Carpets need removed and air circulation prior to guests coming. The staff was sweet...property was aged as are so many in Ocean City. Staff was very nice

Me and my wife loved everything about the experience we were in room 111 the staff was nothing but courteous very friendly and the rooms were always spotless the complain I have is that we can't stay there the same time next year because it's already booked other than that everything is awesome 😔😊😊

My husband and I stayed here for Memorial Day weekend. The pros were it is a 21+ property and very quiet. The staff was friendly and courteous. Out back also has a beautiful patio which we had to ourselves. The area is also fairly secluded and plenty of food options with the beach only a 7 minute walk away. But, at nearly $400 p/n, I expected a more upscale experience especially since the hotel is so small and it was not anywhere near capacity. The room we stayed in was very outdated. Our door didn't fully close so there was a gap in the door frame where it appeared unlocked from the outside. We were told that door has been like that for a long time. The carpet and furniture was all old, the hair dryer was ancient. The mirrors all had staining. The TV was pretty small for the bedroom size, and put at a weird angle so we had to sit up in bed to see it comfortably. Cleaninless could have been better - the bathroom tub was a full jacuzzi style with visibly not well cleaned jets and a shower head that was not high enough on the wall. There were dead bugs around the base of multiple walls. The continental breakfast was in our mini fridge. We got a small cup of orange juice each covered with plastic wrap, two small cups of fruit, a yogurt, a muffin each, and some granola. They also had a small table of pastries downstairs. Had this been half the price, this would have been a bit more expected. But for the price we paid, the value just wasn't there.

We canceled our reservation immediately after we checked in, photos give you the feeling that this hotel is clean, the smell is the problem, it’s this chemical unclean smell that is overpowering you can’t ignore it, the lady on service desk was very rude too, carpets are dirty, the whole thing is just very shady and not what photos give you impression. It’s very far from the beach and broad walk too. I had to argue with the front desk to return my whole money back, she insisted that she will take the first night deposit but I refused coz it’s not my fault, she gave me the money back but after giving me hard time and disrespecting me. I’m glad that I didn’t stay there

We had a great one night stay. The staff were friendly and the room beautiful. We could smell how clean it was upon arrival. The parking was nice as well as the view. We felt far enough away from the boardwalk so we didn’t hear tons noise but close enough to walk to the boardwalk. The decor in the room was thoughtful and honestly really nice.

In general, the hotel is nice. The big win for us was it being adults only, so no screaming/crying kids around was very nice. The cleaning crew was fantastic and reset the room every day. The front desk, Stephen (or Steven, I'm not sure on the spelling) specifically was not exactly a welcome wagon. We knew during booking that there was a pool, but no one told us it was in a separate building/hotel. We happened to have overheard a different couple be toured around during their check-in (something that wasn't provided to us) and found out about the pool and restaurant/bar situation from that. During checkout, there was no one available at the front desk or on site at all. We ended up leaving the key cards on the front desk with a note because no one explained if there was anything specific to do for checkout. Finally, while the room was nice, our view was less desireable. It faced the street coming down to the hotel which meant we got hit with everyone's headlights driving towards us. And the parking lot wasn't pretty enough to want to sit out on the balcony. Just would have been nice to know that not every room had bay views.

We LOVE The Lighthouse Club Hotel! This is a small hotel with just a few rooms and is adults only! The location is fantastic! We have stayed here the last few years after staying at another hotel just around the corner previous years. Once we arrive we park our car and can walk to the restaurants, bars, and the beach. Beautiful bay side location right near some protected marshland and just over a couple walking bridges from Fagers Island. We’ve been going to Fagers every summer for the last 18+ years! This year we got an updated room which was very nice and bright. To be honest the bathrooms still need some significant updating and some parts of this hotel show some wear, BUT we love the charm and will be back for sure! They have a cocktail on tap at the main desk, but you need to ask they don’t usually ask you if you want one. Also a great little lounge area next to the front desk that includes a porch right on the water! Check in and was super friendly. If you don’t have one of the upper rooms you will have an adjoining balcony. We just love it here and will definitely be back! One note is the Jacuzzi tub in our room had a wraparound shower curtain and could be pretty difficult to get in and out of for some people.
We LOVE The Lighthouse Club Hotel! This is a small hotel with just a few rooms and is adults only! The location is fantastic! We have stayed here the last few years after staying at another hotel just around the corner previous years. Once we arrive we park our car and can walk to the restaurants, bars, and the beach. Beautiful bay side location right near some protected marshland and just over a couple walking bridges from Fagers Island. We’ve been going to Fagers every summer for the last 18+ years! This year we got an updated room which was very nice and bright. To be honest the bathrooms still need some significant updating and some parts of this hotel show some wear, BUT we love the charm and will be back for sure! Beautiful facility. The suite we stayed in was huge and comfortable. Every bit of our suite and common areas were very clean. The views of the sunset were spectacular. The only issue we had, which thoughtful packing solved, was there was no ceiling fan or ac vents near our bed. Thankfully we brought mini fans and plugged them in next to us. We will def return in the future.

Though this is an older building, the rooms were spacious and clean. We enjoyed the balcony and being able to see the sunset on the bay. A continental breakfast was provided in room so we didnt have to leave. I really enjoyed the fresh fruit and several breakfast items to choose from. It was nice to have a bridge to walk to Fragers and if you didnt want to walk the front desk would bring you whatever you needed. The room was reasonably priced. The pool very small.

Front desk staff was excellent. Everyone asked how we were, always greeted us whether we were coming or going. Room balcony was directly over the bay. Room was large, bathroom jetted tub/ shower was huge. Great stay!

My girlfriend and I came here to celebrate our 1 year anniversary, and we couldn’t have been happier. The view was amazing!!! The room was beautiful and huge!! We loved it. We were in walking distance to so much. We’re definitely coming back.

We had a great trip to OCMD. The man at the front desk was knowledgeable about the area, offered us a complimentary drink upon arrival, and just went out of his way to be kind and thoughtful. The room was clean and had a fantastic view. Lots of small amenities as well like complimentary granola bars and juice as well as fruit & bread in the morning. There was coffee and fresh cookies in the club house and the view from the deck was unbeatable. The room could possibly do with some minor upgrades if you want something more modern but it’s so charming. We will definitely be visiting again!

My husband and I stayed here for Memorial Day weekend. The pros were it is a 21+ property and very quiet. The staff was friendly and courteous. Out back also has a beautiful patio which we had to ourselves. The area is also fairly secluded and plenty of food options with the beach only a 7 minute walk away. But, at nearly $400 p/n, I expected a more upscale experience especially since the hotel is so small and it was not anywhere near capacity. The room we stayed in was very outdated. Our door didn't fully close so there was a gap in the door frame where it appeared unlocked from the outside. We were told that door has been like that for a long time. The carpet and furniture was all old, the hair dryer was ancient. The mirrors all had staining. The TV was pretty small for the bedroom size, and put at a weird angle so we had to sit up in bed to see it comfortably. Cleaninless could have been better - the bathroom tub was a full jacuzzi style with visibly not well cleaned jets and a shower head that was not high enough on the wall. There were dead bugs around the base of multiple walls. The continental breakfast was in our mini fridge. We got a small cup of orange juice each covered with plastic wrap, two small cups of fruit, a yogurt, a muffin each, and some granola. They also had a small table of pastries downstairs. Had this been half the price, this would have been a bit more expected. But for the price we paid, the value just wasn't there.

We canceled our reservation immediately after we checked in, photos give you the feeling that this hotel is clean, the smell is the problem, it’s this chemical unclean smell that is overpowering you can’t ignore it, the lady on service desk was very rude too, carpets are dirty, the whole thing is just very shady and not what photos give you impression. It’s very far from the beach and broad walk too. I had to argue with the front desk to return my whole money back, she insisted that she will take the first night deposit but I refused coz it’s not my fault, she gave me the money back but after giving me hard time and disrespecting me. I’m glad that I didn’t stay there

Overall the property and staff were excellent but they allowed the people in the room next to ours to play music so loud and go unchecked until we had to call front desk at 1:00 am and 2:30 am each night we were there. Didn’t offer a free stay or anything for the inconvenience. We stayed at this property bc it was adults only but!! Will probably pass on this property next time. Sad though because we really liked the staff. Thanks

This has got to be the best kept secret on the coast! Unbelievable architectural details, bay views, quiet. Convenient dining and bar. Superior staff and helpfulness. Little things go a long way...real wine glasses, real coffee mugs, complimentary snacks and drinks provided in the room, fresh baked goodies in the AM. If the price were doubled, it would still be a bargain! This is our "go to" place whenever we are back in the area.

This is a beautiful hotel close to everything O.C. has to offer but tucked away on the quiet bayfront. The remodeled room was well done and comfortable. Bathroom although nice could use some grout and caulk cleanup and a new cabinet. Decking is a bit rough but didn't stop us from enjoying the water front view and sunsets. The gathering room is beautiful and comfortable and just a nice place to sit with morning coffee, read a book or just gazing out at the view. Staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. Such a beautiful and relaxing retreat. We will be back!

Beautiful room, great staff, overlooking the bay, off the beaten path, with beautiful common spaces. We were there for five days! It was the perfect place to get engaged! An easy Uber to two day music festival down on the boardwalk, and walking distance to a fun bar. Fantastic stay!

They place a water bottle for each person and sodas for each person in the fridge. They serve some alcohol and cookies in the afternoon, and hot drinks are available at all times. They have a related restaurant a short walk away (or drive longer, if you prefer).The common room allows you to see the 180 degrees the bay, a bridge and some wetlands. Check out time is at noon! The winter prices are affordable! This is an adults only place, so no kids for those who want privacy or a romantic time away. The rooms are fairly quiet (no thin walls). We love to come and spend a few days off-season.

Quaint. Quiet. Upscale boutique hotel. Went over and above to make our stay enjoyable. The views from the deck area were serene. We ate at Fagers outdoor restaurant and fine dining restaurant. Both meals were exceptional. This place is totally different vibe than the ocean side. Not crowded. Prob a five min walk down end of the street to the beach. Can’t wait to return.

This was an awesome place to stay. Great room. Great restaurant with outstanding entertainment at night . 2 bands then a DJ. Danced the nights away. Staff at the lighthouse were fantastic. Steven went above and beyond to take care of. Us. Highly recommend this location. Plan on future stays.

Wonderful location with views over the water; the room was large and well laid out and quiet; bed was comfortable. The hotel is a block off the main strip so it’s quite relaxed and quiet.

The Lighthouse is an older property full of charm. It is quaint but comfortable! The staff welcomed us with a " welcome drink" and were friendly and helpful. The hotel is on the bay area and the views and sunset were spectacular. The beach is within walking distance. The Fager Island Restaurant is right next door and offers you the option of a high end elegant Restaurant meal or a casual dining experience and dancing venue with live music. We will certainly stay again if in the area.
