The outside if the building was pretty well maintained. The room was updated but not done well. The bed was very uncomfortable. When we returned to the room in the evening and turned on the light in the bathroom we watched a tiny bugs scatter along with 1 cockroach. We left a day early and didnt even bother asking for our money back bc it didnt seem like it would be worth trying.

Inexpensive place to stay. They seemed to be in the middle of remodeling. There were toilets and vanities sitting outside waiting to be put in the trash... not the cleanest look.

After ringing the bell multiple times, had to look up the phone number to call and get someone to check in. Then I was greeted by a German Shepard going ballistic at the door. After I had to go back outside so that they could control the dog, I got checked in. The room is clean, although seriously outdated, but the hallway to the room reeks of smoke and marijuana. For a "no smoking " hotel, this is unacceptable.

Overall for the price its a very efficient motel! Service was quick and friendly. It seems like they are upgrading some rooms and our room looked to be updated. The beds while old were fairly comfortable! The pillows where thin and their were some suspicious red dotted stains on both bed sheets. But after extensive searching there were no signs of active bugs! Its an older motel so keep ur expectations low.

First, we had to look up the number online and call to have someone come out (in their pajamas) to check us in; this was after repeatedly ringing the doorbell. It was around 8pm when we tried to check in. While we waited, we noticed an unplugged rusty old vending machine sitting on the walkway out front. Then, once we got checked in, it was quickly discovered that the room was not as advertised. VERY DIRTY and run down. Holes in the walls and curtains. We slept with the lights on and on top of the blankets. We left most of our belongings in the car because of the condition of the room. It was only somewhere to sleep so we weren't so picky until during the night I saw a cockroach on the wall. There was also a cockroach on the freezer door when I opened it to retrieve my grandson's breastmilk. Good thing we didn't need to use the toilet much either as there was not enough paper to have wiped more than a couple of times. There was not even a bar of soap in the bathroom. I wish I could share pictures because we took several. I am seriously not over exaggerating; it was the single worst motel room I have ever stayed in. So disgusting. I don't know how they ever had a decent review. You could not pay me to sleep there again.

This was absolutely horrible. I should my money back because I caught an infection because there was mold on the wood holding the bed mattress. Trash cans always full and never take out the trash

Manager wanted an extra deposit when it was already paid for, when I declined he told me to leave the room clean and only use one of the beds. I booked a double bed for 2 guests for a reason. Burn holes in the sheets, sheets barely fit the beds. The bathroom had pube hairs all over the toilet and the floor, the rest of the floor was so dirty I swept up a PILE of dirt with a towel and the towel and my feet were BLACK. Smoke alarms were sitting on the table with lives wires hanging out of the ceilings. So much dust on everything our clothes has dust on them from sitting down. My back tires blew on the way there and after check out they would not allow me to charge my phone anywhere so I could get a tow. I sat in my car with blown tires in 100° for hours waiting for a stranger to let me use a car charger.

It is difficult to assemble a sufficient number of negative descriptive words to convey the essence of this experience. Unmade beds, residual trash in the room including abandoned art made of used beer cans, pervasive lack of cleanliness involving unknown sticky liquids on the night stand... I think you're getting the picture. I'm not a particularly picky individual; I've slept on dirt floors in countries around the world. Those experiences were vastly more comfortable and sanitary than this location. Why is Expedia allowing this to continue? They should have a site inspection that requires Experia personnel to actually spend the night sleeping in their car after they inspect the room.

It was quick and easy to check in, even let me check in a half hour early. Got in the room and first thing I noticed was the floor tiles were moved out of place and not properly fastened. As I used the bathroom I realized there was no shower curtain. I finally noticed, when I went to watch tv that the picture was fuzzy and it was because they had a broken cable just placed into the t. Comfortable stay, they just really need to fix some stuff properly instead of bandaid fixing.

What I liked was staff was nice! The towels were brand new. The refrigerator, microwave and Tv are a nice size. What I didnt like was the sheets was dingy and I did see 1 roach in the bathroom sink.

My back tires blew on the way there and after check out they would not allow me to charge my phone anywhere so I could get a tow. I sat in my car with blown tires in 100° for hours waiting for a stranger to let me use a car charger.
Manager wanted an extra deposit when it was already paid for, when I declined he told me to leave the room clean and only use one of the beds. I booked a double bed for 2 guests for a reason. Burn holes in the sheets, sheets barely fit the beds. The bathroom had pube hairs all over the toilet and the floor, the rest of the floor was so dirty I swept up a PILE of dirt with a towel and the towel and my feet were BLACK. Smoke alarms were sitting on the table with lives wires hanging out of the ceilings. So much dust on everything our clothes has dust on them from sitting down. After ringing the bell multiple times, had to look up the phone number to call and get someone to check in. Then I was greeted by a German Shepard going ballistic at the door. After I had to go back outside so that they could control the dog, I got checked in. The room is clean, although seriously outdated, but the hallway to the room reeks of smoke and marijuana. For a "no smoking " hotel, this is unacceptable.

Overall for the price its a very efficient motel! Service was quick and friendly. It seems like they are upgrading some rooms and our room looked to be updated. The beds while old were fairly comfortable! The pillows where thin and their were some suspicious red dotted stains on both bed sheets. But after extensive searching there were no signs of active bugs! Its an older motel so keep ur expectations low.

First, we had to look up the number online and call to have someone come out (in their pajamas) to check us in; this was after repeatedly ringing the doorbell. It was around 8pm when we tried to check in. While we waited, we noticed an unplugged rusty old vending machine sitting on the walkway out front. Then, once we got checked in, it was quickly discovered that the room was not as advertised. VERY DIRTY and run down. Holes in the walls and curtains. We slept with the lights on and on top of the blankets. We left most of our belongings in the car because of the condition of the room. It was only somewhere to sleep so we weren't so picky until during the night I saw a cockroach on the wall. There was also a cockroach on the freezer door when I opened it to retrieve my grandson's breastmilk. Good thing we didn't need to use the toilet much either as there was not enough paper to have wiped more than a couple of times. There was not even a bar of soap in the bathroom. I wish I could share pictures because we took several. I am seriously not over exaggerating; it was the single worst motel room I have ever stayed in. So disgusting. I don't know how they ever had a decent review. You could not pay me to sleep there again.

Just returned from out the country, so didn’t check in till 3 AM so we’re super tired. First the room door was open was not locked. The room smell like smoke. The room wasn’t clean. It was here everywhere so we just laid down for a few hours and I got up that morning and told the lady at the front desk she told me I was lying because she just left out the room before I got there in the room didn’t smell like smoke. I don’t smoke so I explained that room smells of smoking and we wouldn’t be not be staying here anymore and I will pay, but I will be OK to pay for one day and she told me no I will be stuck paying for the rest of the day and I couldn’t get my money back. horrible customer service horrible this hotel should be taken off the Hotels.com platform. I would not ever recommend anyone stand here.

Needed a last minute place to stay, and this was clean and quiet, with attentive staff, though poorly maintained (eg old furniture stored in the hallway, bathroom exhaust did not work). The room had a huge hot tub in the corner with a wall mirror. Fantastic location, easy drive to downtown Zion and Illinois Beach State Park.
