Cute old hotel along the waterfront, but unfortunately it needs lots of updating. Our room was clean that was OK but everything is old. The blinds for the front windows were broken door to the room. Door handle and lock was very hard to open extremely old. Door barely closed huge gap underneath the door and heard road noise, as well as the pot smell coming from the neighbor through the door. wi-Fi did not work had to use cellular data. The TV was newer, but unfortunately, most of the channels did not work. The parking lot was all sand, which was kind of cool, but unfortunately people just randomly parked all different directions and by the end of the day there was not enough parking for the guest who are all complaining because there was nowhere to park

Reminded me of an old time place. Cute clean. Would come again but in a,car. Should find a way in you website to tell people that it is a sandy driveway. Was on our motorcycle and turned into parking lot , not knowing it was sandy the bike almost went Down. Were were able to keep it up but was tough. Otherwise i liked the place,😄

The room was clean, AC worked great, and the bed was comfy. No frills but everything you need/expect is there - mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, towels, big tv, etc. The room was decorated very cute! The check in process was easy and the lady at the front desk was very friendly. The hotel texted us the night before and asked when we were planning on arriving and they had our room ready close to that time. We brought our dog and they charged $30 for the dog fee, which I thought was fair. It’s a mile away from the center of Flagler Beach which was a hot walk in the summer so we had to take the car into town but parking was a bit challenging in the evening when everyone was back in their rooms, we have a little sedan so we were able to squeeze into a little spot but if we had a big truck I honestly don’t know where we would have parked it for the night. We didn’t go to the beach while we were there except to walk the dog but there’s beach access right across the street as well as some communal beach stuff like chairs and boogie boards. Overall really great motel - I would definitely stay there again.

Place was clean, safe, friendly and close to beach. It’s simple and no frills. But that’s what we like about Flagler. Free self parking. Next to Cafe by Sea. Great communication.

You will never find a more friendly and welcoming staff and owners of a hotel. After a long drive and arriving at the hotel we enter our room greeted by little welcome treats (chocolates for myself and cat treats my my fluffy friend) with a hand written welcome card. The Beach is just across the road with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The management and staff were swift to answer any questions with a smile and quickly resolved any concerns. The only possible con I could think of is that if the other guests park poorly in the parking area, you could possibly get parked in. This is not the fault of the hotel but the visitors.

Would of been a 5 star if the room was clean. I have allergies and the ceiling fan was very dirty and the wall by the bed had built up dust. The clean towels smelled really bad. A good scrub down and clean towels and it would be a 5 star. I love how the beach is so close. I loved how the motel has beach toys ect. to borrow. The locals were very nice.

Office folks are great. It’s so nice to talk to a real person on-site at a hotel. It’s old, outdated. Let’s just get that outta the way. They have a great ice machine, cold AC, good water pressure, the beds are comfortable. It’s old. Temper your expectations. Our room was super clean and well put together. The tub was chipped. The AC unit is a little noisy. The bathroom is incredibly tiny. The old floors were spotless. If you’re gonna beach all day, eat dinner out and just shower & sleep. Save your money and stay here. The people are super nice. Everybody talks to everybody. Folks hang outside listening to music, etc. I even saw some playing cards. I love that vibe.

Very cool retro hotel from the 1960’s - 70’s era that’s very well kept and remains in that theme, right down to a real room key complete with “Drop in any mailbox, return postage guaranteed” tag. I was halfway expecting a Magic Fingers vibrating bed! Don’t expect a breakfast buffet, however, and there is only a little coffee machine in your room until the office opens at 9:00 and there’s a Keurig there with a few pastries. The room was very clean — quite a feat considering it’s right on the beach and the parking lot is sand. It does show a few signs of age, but it is old. I don’t mind gray hair (considering I have quite a bit myself) We definitely would stay there again, very charming blast from the past.

We stopped here over night and was pleasantly surprised. For an older motel across the street from the beach, the price was right and it was comfortable. Being able to keep a place in pristine condition on the beach is virtually impossible. They went the extra mile with the small amenities like a mint on the pillow, beach towels, and the ice machine it incredible.

From the outside, i thought we were getting a cheap crappy motel. But the room was gorgeous! Super clean, all new furniture, beautiful blankets and bet set. Very hot water for shower with decent pressure. Big tv with good cable. And ya cant beat that view

If you're looking for a dog friendly Beach hotel where your pet can go play on the beach and be a happy pup, This is it! The most friendly staff and you feel like you're staying at someone's home. Very clean rooms with lots of space and the most beautiful views! Also very peaceful area of Flagler Beach!

We loved the area of Flagler Beach and the "old school" feel. Beach access right across the street. The hotel room was dirty, the bath towels were tiny rags, the shower was disgustingly dirty and the doors were sold old, they didn't shut. I would definitely come back to Flagler Beach, but not stay here. You get what you pay for.

My room was the most immaculate-clean I’ve ever seen a motel room in my entire life — and you can tell everything about a motel by how clean it is, especially the bathroom. If you’re like me and no fan of corporate big box hotels, you will love this place. Old-school kinda kitchy, far enough down the road from the center of town to be wy quiet at nite, but close enough to civilization (5-10 minutes). Only thing is, the town rolls roll up the sidewalks at 9pm. But for R&R, this is a great place to stay right on the beach. I booked a room for my next holiday, too.

The location of the motel was wonderful across from the beach, the condition of hotel very old , the bathroom was soooo small, very uncomfortable to use , I had more room in the bathroom on a cruise ship. But for the price with an ocean view, what can you expect.

Right across the street from the beach so that's really nice. They need black out shades for the windows, way too much light in the room to sleep in well. Couldn't figure out how to use the TV. Lol. But didn't really care about that. Walls are thin and could hear neighbor's TV. Wish they put more towels, toilet paper, and wash clothes in the room. And a larger trash can.

Desperately needs upgrading inside rooms. Very aged and rugged. No water pressure, temperature totters between warm and hot then cold. But I will say it was quiet at night and I got plenty of sleep! Regardless I will probably stay again because it’s very convenient!

The AC unit is a little noisy. The bathroom is incredibly tiny. The old floors were spotless. If you’re gonna beach all day, eat dinner out and just shower & sleep. Save your money and stay here. The people are super nice. Everybody talks to everybody. Folks hang outside listening to music, etc. I even saw some playing cards. I love that vibe.

Cute little motel right across the street from the ocean. We were in room 19, which had its own large balcony overlooking the street and ocean. The room was a little noisy, but mainly because the ocean was so close, not necessarily due to traffic, although it was a pretty busy road. No staff on site after 7 pm, but she answered her cell phone when we needed something. We would stay again for sure.

Arrived at the property and no one was there to check us in. Called and was told they were booked up. We called two days before and confirmed our room. They blamed expedia. We are 6 hours from home with no room. Do not there stay here. Its a scam.

Staff was amazing - Joanna was great at check in and helping us with anything we needed. Even got us beach towels since we forgot ours. Hotel is older but it has been kept up for the most part. It has a family feel, and is very art deco. Room was clean. Maybe a 2 minute walk across the street at your on the beach. Tons of shops and restaurants you can walk to. 32 minute drive to Daytona from hotel. We will definitely stay here again.

I like that it is very close to restaurants and the beach. I dislike the check in process and no employees stay on property if a situation arises. They put your room key in a lock box that isn't locked and other room keys visible to the public when checking in. Makes for an uncomfortable stay

I liked how quiet and close to the beach the property was located. It was also convenient how fairly close (a short drive) it was to center of/downtown Flagler Beach. We arrived late so it was a remote check-in, but we personally didn't mind that. The one staff member I met upon check-out was friendly and gave such a warm welcome to come again soon!

We loved our staycation next to the beach and everyone was helpful and friendly. Savannah, Natalia and Emily were some friendly faces that we are looking forward to seeing again! We even extended our stay for a few more days.

This property has a great location and beach access across the street. The hotel and beach are pet friendly. Older motel, so don't be surprised with the dated look, bathroom and thinner walls. They did not hinder our enjoyment. It's what we expected and way better than the overcrowded "resorts" in Daytona. We love the area. Coffee shops and restaurants that were dog friendly within walking distance.

The hotel is definitely dated but it's so cozy and cute!! The area, linens and bathroom were all very clean. The water was HOT HOT HOT!! They have an area outside to rinse off after coming back from the beach which was very convenient. There's an adorable little place right next door for breakfast and they serve pizza during lunch/dinner although we were only present for breakfast and it was soooo good!! The staff was very extremely helpful and very nice in person and over the phone the couple times we called. I would highly recommend this stay and we fully intend on coming back!!

The a/c was cold, the shower was hot, and the bed was comfortable. My only disappointment was no freezer in the mini fridge so I couldn't freeze my cold paks or ice cream. The staff was very nice and offered pastries and coffee in the office. We would come again and I would recommend it to others.

This is a quaint 1950’s Era original Florida Beach Motel. Nothing fancy. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The beach was a 30 second walk across the road where cars stop for pedestrians. There is a little restaurant next door with great Pizza and a nice Breakfast with the best Scones Turnovers and Cinnamon Rolls you’ll find anywhere. We will stay there again!

The motel is older, but i think thats part of its appeal. There is a very laid-back and friendly air about it and the location is excellent. There are many restaurants and shops less than a mile away and the beach right across the road. The room was clean and cool. The decor was cute and had a very personal touch, instead of the dull commercial hotel look. It seemed more like a small studio apartment than a hotel room, with the kitchenette. The price was also reasonable. I honestly really enjoyed my stay and would gladly stay again.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Very dog friendly as well. Most of the quests had dogs, both friendly. Great view. Close to grocery and pizza. If you stay try Big Belly Bob’s short walk south of the motel. Great breakfast sandwiches.

Very cool retro hotel from the 1960’s - 70’s era that’s very well kept and remains in that theme, right down to a real room key complete with “Drop in any mailbox, return postage guaranteed” tag. I was halfway expecting a Magic Fingers vibrating bed! Don’t expect a breakfast buffet, however, and there is only a little coffee machine in your room until the office opens at 9:00 and there’s a Keurig there with a few pastries. The room was very clean — quite a feat considering it’s right on the beach and the parking lot is sand. It does show a few signs of age, but it is old. I don’t mind gray hair (considering I have quite a bit myself) We definitely would stay there again, very charming blast from the past.

First time in Flagler Beach. Up the road past the St. Pat's Day party-ers to a quiet, well-run older motel that offered great views of the ocean just across the street at a very affordable price. The motel offers some sweet touches--unadvertised coffee and morning snacks in the office; comfortable, clean room; helpful management; and a welcoming neon stand-up flamingo in our room. There are a couple of good restaurants within short, pleasant walks from the motel. Definitely would revisit for a longer stay.

Room was clean. It is a no frills motel. Great place to stay if you want to be right on the beach. They allow pets so traveling with your pet is great. They have beach chairs and boogy boards for the beach and an outside shower to clean up afterwards. My only nitpick is probably that there is only a window a/c unit which doesn't reach the bathroom. No exhaust fans in the rest room so it gets a little muggy after going to the beach. It is right down the road from some great shops and restaurants but far enough away that you are not in the bustle of the crowd. Great value for staying right across from the direct beach access.

Old school Fl motel! Location was great and right at the beach, motel is old, but I liked the old charm. It was pretty clean and loved that it had a microwave and fridge- we got to eat all our meals there! Saw sea turtles at night as well! Will stay again!
