The property is starting to look a little run down. I have no idea why the beds are so high! I had to get a step stool from the office to even get in the bed. There’s no way you can do anything but sleep in the bed with it so high! Also, for the price we paid I expect some maid service. On the plus side, wonderful water pressure in the shower!

The facility was clean and the room was spacious enough for our needs. Breakfast selection was somewhat limite3d compared to other locations I have traveled recently. The one aspect I would recommend changing is the procedure that no one is at the front desk most of the time and the customer has to pick up a phone to alert someone. There would be a more welcome and secure feeling if a person were present.

I have stayed here before and will again. The only concern i had this time was the strong musty smell in the bathroom. May have been coming from the vents. Overall the room was clean, bed comfortable, 4 pillows on king bed. Friendly staff.

The beds are too tall. I am 57 and couldn’t sit on the bed to get in. I had to lay on my stomach scoot across the bed until I had enough room to swing one leg up and then roll until I could get the second leg up. Also, the mattress was a little too firm for my arthritis.

The customer service here was awful! High incidental fees are ridiculous! Highest room cost on my entire trip, but worst customer service and amenities. They probably think they can get away with it since there's not much else in the area, but they will still lose business treating customers that way. It wasn't just our group - it was everyone staying that weekend. So many complaints!

When we arrived late on Friday evening the police were there and someone was in the lobby either stoned out of their mind/and or drunk. They allowed this obnoxious person to stay there and didn't remove them from the property. This was NOT inviting to the customer, nor did you, the front desk person nor the police remove them and allowed them to stay there even after the police officer left. THIS IS NOT A PLACE I would ever recommend nor stay ever again. Then to receive my bill and it was much more than quoted. For this type of service and atmosphere in Clarion, IA, where there is NOTHING to raise the price on me on a Saturday night because you were full is ridiculous! I am going to report this to the better business bureau as a place that isn't desirable to stay as OBVIOUSLY the customers feelings are not important. And, to state there is breakfast included is ridiculous for what was offered.

I thought the staff could have been friendlier, but the room was amazing. Also, I thought they served breakfast, but I didn't see any. Overall, they were great but a little overpriced for my taste.

We we’re here for a wedding and it was a great stay! The staff was friendly and the rooms are great. Good hot breakfast in the morning!

The facility was clean and the room was spacious enough for our needs. Breakfast selection was somewhat limite3d compared to other locations I have traveled recently. The one aspect I would recommend changing is the procedure that no one is at the front desk most of the time and the customer has to pick up a phone to alert someone. There would be a more welcome and secure feeling if a person were present.

When we arrived late on Friday evening the police were there and someone was in the lobby either stoned out of their mind/and or drunk. They allowed this obnoxious person to stay there and didn't remove them from the property. This was NOT inviting to the customer, nor did you, the front desk person nor the police remove them and allowed them to stay there even after the police officer left. THIS IS NOT A PLACE I would ever recommend nor stay ever again. Then to receive my bill and it was much more than quoted. For this type of service and atmosphere in Clarion, IA, where there is NOTHING to raise the price on me on a Saturday night because you were full is ridiculous! I am going to report this to the better business bureau as a place that isn't desirable to stay as OBVIOUSLY the customers feelings are not important. And, to state there is breakfast included is ridiculous for what was offered.

The place was clean, well maintained, welcoming, good breakfast, etc., but what stood out most of all was how extraordinarily helpful the staff members were (especially Marisa and Eliza!!) when my friend had a medical emergency. They (plus two other bystanders) did not hesitate for a second in helping me get my friend down the stairs and out into the car for the ride to the ER. Both my friend and I are grateful beyond words for the care and concern shown by the amazing staff of this place.
