The room was small, but had a big closet, a safe for valuables, a gigantic tiled shower, nice white fluffy towels, super clean, park at the door, friendly staff, a desk with office chair, king size bed very comfortable, big comfortable easy chair, and the room was quiet at night. The building next door was being renovated with bull dozers during the day which was annoying. Room had a small coffee machine, cups, creamer, and a white noise machine. Check out is at 11am.

Simple, no frills, clean room just for an overnight on a road trip. It’s on a main road/noisy traffic area, but they’ve added a sound system in the room to cover that. I’m a light sleeper and I wasn’t disturbed at all that night. They were also accommodating in giving us a room on the back side.

What a nice surprise! We were a little concerned at first about road noise upon arriving, but it wasn’t even noticeable during our stay. The bathroom was sparkling clean, great shower, soaps, even a white noise machine provided! Bed was extremely comfortable and the room had an iron and ironing board. Ice machine was in working order and the location is easily accessible to major highways. Not much to see or do on foot, but a very, very nice motel at a fantastic price.

Seemed like a place that had been old, and was recently remodeled. Friendly staff, and really nice bathroom. Bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the parking was easy. It's not the Ritz-Carlton, but it's a very nice little motel and I'd stay there again.

We thought the mattress should be updated, but other than that, the room was fine for what we needed. Clean, convenient to the highway and bonus: next door to Starbucks!

Towels looked dirty and had holes. Stayed many nights, but no one ever took our trash that we kept stacking at the door. There was a constant clicking in the ceiling...almost like creaking from someone on the roof...but it was LOUD. Kept me awake at night and drove me crazy. Horrible for relaxation or sleep. Ruined our stay.

Hotel room was very clean, smelled nice, comfortable bed and was quite cool with air conditioning - which was a relief from the heat/humidity. Room was small but perfect for our needs. Would recommend.

It was our last night of our trip and we didn't need much and read all the positive reviews about this Inn. Although it was clean by reputation, it lacked space and did not have a fridge. I think the lack of space in the sleeping area was attributed to the oversized shower, which was a plus (no tub if you're wondering), and a deep closet. The surrounding area isn't the greatest, so unless you need to be within walking distance to a Hooters or pawn shop, you might want to shop around. I doubt I would stay here again.

Room was very nice. Bathroom was nicely remodeled. There were towel bars for all of the towels and walk-in shower was configured so the water stayed in the shower! Perhaps small details but in my experience these stand out from nearly all other hotels I’ve been in before.

I was really impressed with my room! It was attractive,the bedding was wonderful and the bathroom had a great walk-in shower! The only thing that would have made it better would have been a better tv channel selection

Everything was great. Our only complaint was that the TV was strictly connected to WiFi which didn’t work, even with the password they gave us during check-in. We had to use my cell. phone’s hotspot to watch TV and connect to one of our streaming services to watch TV on our downtime. And, the desk did not do anything to compensate us for the problem with the WiFi. We were still charged the full rate.

The only bad news was on your end. I had a reservation number, but the reservation was never confirmed with the inn. They had no idea I was coming. The desk manager saved the day for me. There was 1 room available starting 2 days later. It had just been renovated. Because it was ready he was able to put me there for the night. I didn't even have to pay a higher rate because it was a suite. I only needed a regular room. The room was wonderful. Everything was clean, new and comfortable. There was no food or continental breakfast, but that was ok. That wasn't listed as an amenity. Management was outstanding! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone staying in that area.

The room was very clean and appeared to have been recently updated. Our only complaint was that the office is kept locked, and sometimes it was a bit difficult to get the staff's attention. They were lovely, however. Perhaps a doorbell would be helpful.

We loved the utter neatness of the property and of our room. This owner takes pride in his/her property and it shows. The room was super clean and fresh. Both staff women were kind, helpful, and friendly. We would stay there again in a minute!

I have stayed at this property several times. This last time I was very upset. As when I arrived my two relatives rooms were ready. However mine was not. That was not the problem. The problem was when we all returned from our relatives birthday party we had just gotten out of the vehicle and we were greeted by a staff member stating that they had a complaint about noise. Funny thing is we just arrived, how did you already receive a call if you met me at the sidewalk when we pulled in. Then I received a phone call from this staff member stating the same thing and that this is not a party hotel. We were just unloading our luggage at this point. She then stated that we had 10 people in my car. No there was just five. Me my husband and my three grandchildren. My grand children were staying in the other two rooms with my sister and cousin that each had a room there. So I didn’t see the problem when the staff stated that my room was over booked with guest. I went to checkout and was hoping to speak to the owner. However, she was not on site. My husband was really upset and advised me not to stay here again, but I do love this place and never had an issue. I told my husband that we would wait to see if I get a response from the owner on if we will stay again.

Check in was terrible. Clerk Margaret, wasn’t helpful at all. The price I had on hotels wasn’t the price that I paid. When I questioned Margaret, she just shrugged and told me to find another place.

I grew up in Newington ct and know the Berlin turnpike well. This hotel is safe clean and not what you expect o Berlin Tpke motel to be. The room is so clean and the ground kept beautifully. I now live in fla and will use this as my place to stay when visiting Connecticut

A true “diamond in the rough”! In a somewhat overlooked area that takes some effort to get to is a neat, clean, quiet and fully updated small suite motel. Dining options in the immediate area are limited, but West Hartford Center is 15 minutes away. In a time when finding a deal is a rarity, this place stands out.

This was a quick overnight stay for us on a longer trip. This motel is older but well maintained. There is significant road noise, but they provide a white noise machine in the room. We thought the mattress should be updated, but other than that, the room was fine for what we needed. Clean, convenient to the highway and bonus: next door to Starbucks!

Stayed for one night while attending a concert in Hartford. Easy to get to, large,clean bathroom, comfy beds. It was quiet even though on a main road.

Very nice stay. The rooms were comfortable and very clean(!). It would be great if there was an in-room mini-fridge. Location next to a starbucks and near restaurants is convenient. Nice to stay somewhere that isn't one of the chain hotels.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and its location was great. A pleasant and happy lady helped me settle in. I appreciated its proximity to Starbucks and other fine restaurants.

Convient, inexpensive, and very clean. The proprietor did an excellent job of updating the shower stall. Huge, and very nice. Small room, but huge bathroom. We were comfortable, and not disappointed with our stay. Go to "The Charles" restaurant for dinner. Amazing dinner. Not too far.

Great motel in an area of mediocre-at-best motels. Super-clean and well-appointed rooms, great front-desk service. Had a terrific breakfast at the diner just across the street.

The front desk was very polite and friendly! The Inn is quite small, but it is well decorated and very, very clean! Despite it being on the highway, it was not loud at all. I couldn't even hear any of the other guests. Within walking distance there are a few restaurants, including a diner and Starbucks. The rooms were very nicely decorated and had an elegant feel to them.

This is the best small budget hotel I have ever stayed in, although I am a very picky person, if this hotel can provide breakfast and dinner of the quality that matches its decoration and facilities, I must describe it as "excellent". If I were to visit that area again for accommodation I would have no other alternative.

Very convenient, 7 min from Hartford Conference Center. Clean and rather spacious. We had the 2 queen bed bedroom and very happy with the cleaniness of the room and the bathroom with a large Italian style shower, not a tub. Coffee is free at the desk but no coffee or tea maker in the room, that was a little step back.

Really impressed by this seeming old-school "roadside motel." Fully renovated, impressively clean and modern, quiet HVAC system, great bathroom layout. I had a suite with the kitchenette (no stove; just fridge, microwave, sink), that is actually stocked with dishes and utensils (so common for all that cabinetry to be frustratingly empty). It's also 70 easy walking yards to a Starbucks, 5 Guys, and two other food pickup places. Google maps is a little confused about where the entrance is, but this is a great place.

I was very impressed with this inn. I stayed in a suite and it was so clean, roomy, and in wonderful condition. I travel to the area a lot and I'll be staying here in the future!

Road noise is disrupting. The hotel provides a "white noise" maker, but it's old and sounds industrial. I used my mobile phone sleep noise app together with ear plugs. Also, the mattress was not very comfortable. No regrets though. Just passing thru and needed a room for one night. "Pride of Ownership," was obvious.
