Nice place in need of renovation. We were here 5 years ago and it was showing its age and nothing has been improved since. Staff was nice but check in lady was rude making it know “oh you booked with a third party server” and no consideration was given when we asked for a room with no second floor claiming they are fully booked when in fact no one ever checked in and the rooms were open. Absolutely no internet connection

I was a little nervous because some of the reviews mentioned that the rooms weren’t as clean or updated as people expected, but as someone who is super particular and a germaphobe, it was totally fine!!! That being said, you will NOT regret staying here. The views are incomparable. It is such a beautiful property. I recommend booking a first floor ocean view. You get a little outside patio with a rocking swing-perfect for relaxing, reading, having a cocktail, etc. I would 100% stay here again and HIGHLY recommend this property. I usually don’t even write reviews, but it’s a hidden gem.

Great spot for a Highway 1 driving trip to or from Big Sur. Grounds are fabulous. Catch the Pacific sunset. Restaurant on property is good. Clean rooms, comfortable.

This is a lovely Inn. I stayed in a room with a view of the ocean and it was one of the best views I’ve ever had. This place is old, but it’s clean, if you want everything modern and up-to-date. This isn’t the place for you. The only drawback was the cell phone reception the only Internet available is via AT&T. If you have anything else, you will have no Internet reception.
