Beautiful facilities and clean room! Be advised that the restaurant is closed Monday through Thursday. The website states this, but it is not obvious. this is noteworthy, because there are no other dining options in Claryville. If you’re there for the weekend, you will have wonderful lodging as well as a restaurant available.

What an amazing find! Weekend get away with husband and two dogs. Loved the property and the Russian Mule Brewery - Restaurant & Tasting Room. Great spot and would definitely come back again.

Very convenient for hiking some of the firetowers in the area! Loved that the Russian Mule Brewery was on site! Food and drinks were delicious! Perfect after a long day of hiking!

We stayed on a weekday. It was quiet and clean. The only concern is tgat the outside door was so rusted and broken that it allowed light under the door meaning bugs and crotters could akso cone in. Also, despite the digital display, the heat was either on continuously or off. It was a cool night and we kept having to wake up to turn it off and on.

Had a quiet, lovely stay at this perfectly manicured property. Our room was very clean and cottage-like. The furnishings were country inspired. The bathroom gleemed! There is a restaurant on site but we came in the off season so it was, unfortunately closed. Would love to return during the summer to experience it as the reviews are high. Overall this was one of our best stays at any hotel/motel in years! Kudos to the owners for checking all the right boxes!

The place was very clean. Due to the humidity the room had a musty odor but we were there after 2 straight weeks of rain so I suppose it was due to that. We had dinner at the Russian Mule, it was delicious and the owners very warm and friendly. The hike nearby (Red Hill fire tower) was amazing

Cute little place and the room was a good size. The Restaurant was really good, and the staff were excellent. To be noted: Our room was on the 2nd floor, and we had to climb outside metal grated stairs to get there. I did not see that on the reservation. A bit challenging for me since my heart surgery and I wish I would have known that. There was a used bar of soap left in the shower which makes me wonder how well the bathroom was cleaned. The heater was inconsistent. It would go from 68 to 72 - was hard to keep the room warm. It is a nice place though and a good location for a home base.

A fairly good hotel. Room was clean. My only complaint was the wifi. It was practically unusable as it disconnected and reconnected regularly from multiple devices. Wouldn't be a big deal but I needed to be able to plan hikes.

Lovely property and surroundings, nice and quiet. Room was clean and well kept. Never did get the tv to work and there was a distinct lack of hot water in the shower! Overall, I loved my stay at Blue Hill, just a couple of small things were sub-par.

Very cute place. The motel rooms are nice if basic but very clean. A microwave would be great but there is a fridge. We ate at the brewery on site, which was good. The rooms could use more towels although the staff at the brewery on check in did say to come over if we needed them (2 sets for 4 people). We didn’t bother as kids didn’t shower for the one night. The area is nice and we would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful area, long winding drive to this isolated area. The property is pretty and dog-friendly. The money is in the brewery and long term stays-hotel rooms are small and furnished cheaply, smelly at times, don’t know if it’s the chemicals from the salon nearby or the bathroom. Beds are very springy, small tv, coffee maker for hotel bag coffee provided and a small refrigerator with a freezer portion. No microwave. Ok but def not fancy. Pet price of $40 per night, a bit much.

The lodge house was lovely and very comfortable. My only comment is that the description should be changed to remove that it’s air conditioned, because it’s not. Additionally, a number of the windows don’t have screens and some of the blinds are broken, so it’s not easy to get good airflow. We managed fine because it was cool and comfortable, but I can’t imagine how the lodge must be when it’s hot and humid outside.

A great location, great brewery and staff. our second time. Stayed in apartment A, fully equipped, three bedrooms with two in attic with no bedrooms, one full bathroom with the full bathroom. Land line didn’t work because it had some charging issue, wifi i had to power cycle. But the real issue was no AC in two rooms. One room had small fan which wasn’t very useful.

Simple, cozy accommodations in close proximity to a couple nice trailheads (Denning, Slide Mountain.) The complex was closed up for winter the weekend I stayed, but a special thank you to the manager who was kind enough to drive over after hours and open up a room for a friend I'd been out hiking with on an adventure that lasted much later than we'd expected. We appreciate the kindness and hospitality more than you can imagine.
Simple, cozy accommodations in close proximity to a couple nice trailheads (Denning, Slide Mountain.) I am a repeat guest and cannot say enough great things about Blue Hill. The staff are excellent and have been extremely flexible with reservations. I travel from out of state on business and have had to reschedule a few times due to inclement weather and the lodge staff has always been kind and accomodating. I can always count on a safe and clean environment. Thank you!

The hotel landscape is beautiful. Scenic views all around the hotel and brewery of the Catskills. The manager and staff at the Russian Mule are very friendly and courteous. Great service as well.

One night for a wedding. Small, clean and worth the money. Be careful about check-in which ends at 8:00 pm on Friday. They will make accommodations if you need. Check-in at the brewery. Fast and pleasant.

The girl on the phone, Kianna, assured me I would be able to come in late, after the office closed at 9pm. (What motel closes their office at 9pm on a Saturday night??!!?!) She said room #2 would be open and the key inside. But… THE DOOR WAS LOCKED when I got there at 12am. The lights were off and the curtains drawn. The next room had lights on and a key visible on the dresser, but that door was locked too. There is NO CELL SERVICE in this area so I couldn’t even look for a room somewhere else. So after working all day at an event in the Catskills, I had to sleep in my car until daylight. Unforgivable. They say this is an “event venue” as well as an inn - they can’t even let their guests into rooms that are paid for, I can only imagine how they would ruin someone’s wedding. Lazy, incompetent, INHOSPITABLE.
The girl on the phone, Kianna, assured me I would be able to come in late, after the office closed at 9pm. (What motel closes their office at 9pm on a Saturday night??!!?!) She said room #2 would be open and the key inside. But… THE DOOR WAS LOCKED when I got there at 12am. The lights were off and the curtains drawn. The next room had lights on and a key visible on the dresser, but that door was locked too. There is NO CELL SERVICE in this area so I couldn’t even look for a room somewhere else. So after working all day at an event in the Catskills, I had to sleep in my car until daylight. Unforgivable. They say this is an “event venue” as well as an inn - they can’t even let their guests into rooms that are paid for, I can only imagine how they would ruin someone’s wedding. Beautiful facilities and clean room! Be advised that the restaurant is closed Monday through Thursday. The website states this, but it is not obvious. this is noteworthy, because there are no other dining options in Claryville. If you’re there for the weekend, you will have wonderful lodging as well as a restaurant available.

The hotel was very nice. If you are looking for peace and quiet, look no further. You have a peaceful trout stream that flows behind it. Only downside is no major amenities near by.

We liked the property and the room. Unfortunately the property restaurant was not open during our stay, would have liked to try it. There is no cell service in this area and the wifi was spotty. The nearest open restaurant was 30 minutes away. We saw a bear on the ride. There were pros and cons of this stay, but it was clean and comfortable and i would consider staying again

Out of the way but really nice area! Beautiful woods and water areas. Love the beautiful brewery buildings. Rooms are sufficient and clean. Heat/air was good. Food good. Staff friendly. Grounds very nice. Never think general store had great food especially breakfast items.

Great lodge. Beautiful location. Enjoyed the on-site restaurant/bar. Just had some trouble with intermittent WiFi, which was an issue because cell signal was also very weak and intermittent.

Quiet, restful spot. Property just down the road from Red Hill trailhead for those interested in firetower challenge. Visited late Sept midweek when adjoining Russian Mule Brewery & Restaurant was closed. Ate dinner & breakfast at Neversink General store about 10 minutes away ... and enjoyed it.

My husband and I stayed at Blue Hill as a base for attending a wedding in Woodridge . The room was clean, and there was a bar fridge, which I wish had been itemized in the hotel listing. This is a great feature when you know about it in advance. We had dinner at the Russian Mule Restaurant on the first night and were very happy with the tasty veggie burgers. The staff was very friendly.

Very friendly and easy check in at the Russian Mule Brewery on the property. We also ate at the Brewery, the Mule Kick Nachos were Awesome !!! Also the beers were very good too. Great variety. I thought this place was closer to Bethel Woods, it's about 40-45 minutes away. A little drive after the concert got over at 11 PM, but I would stay here again !!!

What an amazing find! Weekend get away with husband and two dogs. Loved the property and the Russian Mule Brewery - Restaurant & Tasting Room. Great spot and would definitely come back again.

Very quiet and clean, but no real way to get basics like food except in the evening. Although it is “by” a river there is no access from the property. There are “private property “ signs everywhere.

Very convenient for hiking some of the firetowers in the area! Loved that the Russian Mule Brewery was on site! Food and drinks were delicious! Perfect after a long day of hiking!

Convenient stay for a family wedding. Clean and well maintained. We stayed in room2 and conversations from the next room were easily heard. That is our only criticism. Everything else was excellent.

This place is an absolute gem. It is a beautiful property, in a gorgeous area and next to an arts center and brewery. The rooms are clean and well-appointed. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. If you are in the Catskills, this is the place to stay!

External building maintenance is attractive. BUT our assigned Room 7 needs attention. The bedding is fine but towels small and basic. No staff available until 4 pm- for check-in, check-out or to report issues. Carpet frayed and worn. Headboard not attached to bed so bangs the wall with any movement on the mattress. Room needs a good vacuuming behind the bed and bedside tables. Leak under bathroom sink. Stained corners of bathroom tile and something on the bathroom door. Could use some Clorox foaming bleach! Previous guest take-out food left in refrigerator. Savannah- check in was efficient and friendly. Russian Mule restaurant staff also very friendly. Acceptable for the area but not worth the room fee.
