This is a Family Business. It revolves around the Restaurant for Check In, Ice, and Questions. The Room was spacious enough and clean. Parking is at your door, no stairs or elevator or disinterested Staff. The restaurant was an excellent place to eat and just across the lot. I prefer supporting a conscientious family operation than a potluck mass chain with mediocre Cleanliness and Disinterested staff. If you are a late check-in you will need to call ahead for arrangements. They watch the business so take your nefarious behavior elsewhere.

Bed was nice but that's the end of the good. The bad: old, run down, smelled bad, ac was very loud, no cable tv, and worse of all, no hot water. When I mean no hot water, I mean zero. Ice cold. Would not ever recommend.

Can’t believe Expedia had this Motel at an 8.6 Excellent. There was a bug in my bed that the manager called a water bug. There wasn’t any other rooms left and she didn’t even offer clean sheets. The bed was terrible. The air conditioning didn’t work good. The shower had no hot water. We got no sleep! Not a good stay!!

We were well pleased with the cleanliness of the room. The room could use a full length mirror. The air conditioner was noisy, luckily we didn’t need it as it was comfortable with using the ceiling fan.

This motel was fairly priced for what it was. It is dated but reasonably clean. The beds are comfortable, and the included full, hot breakfast ordered from a small menu, was filling and pretty good. The big downside to this place was that the walls are paper thin, and one can hear other guests and road noise (especially all of the large trucks) very clearly. Using the AC to drown out outside noise was ineffective as the AC itself was extremely loud.

This is an older motel. It is ok for its age. They have done some updating, but some of the finish work is not the best. This is also the only hotel that did not have a blow dryer for me to dry my hair.

This is a hidden gem. From the outside it looks like a typical slightly run-down older motel, but the inside has been beautifully redone! Excellent bed and pillows, plenty of towels, walk in shower, unique cart-style bedside table, reading lamp, new wood flooring, triple door locks. Super impressed!

It was clean but at $100 a night, I expected more amenities. There was no coffee pot, hair drier, very few electrical outlets, the refrigerator wasnt even plugged in, and the arrangement for the hanging rack was strange.

Motels are always a hit or miss for us but the reviews were all excellent so we gave it a go for an overnight stay. It totally lived up to the reviews. Checkin at the restaurant was smooth and quick. Rooms are nothing special but spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and had a quilt instead of a comforter (BONUS!). The free breakfast is custom order at the same restaurant where you check in/out. Delicious and super friendly. We would definitely stay again if ever through the hometown of Gretchen Wilson.

Driver loves this little motel when he’s in the area. The only issue was I was booking it for him and they didn’t accept that the card used on Expedia so he had to pay out of pocket and now has to be reimbursed instead of using the credit card that I booked it with.

Made a reservation 2 days before arrival. Indicated we'd be checking in at 9pm. Arrived at 9:03 pm, walked into cafe where check-ins were supposed to happen. Informed grumpy lady who grudgingly got off the stool that we were there to check in. "We don't have any rooms," she said. "Oh, we have a reservation," I said. She glanced down at a piece of paper with about a dozen names on it, and without asking for ours, she simply responded, "No." "Would you like my confirmation number," I asked? "Don't worry, we won't charge your card," was the response.

The staff were fantastic. The cup holder in my car had broken and I didn’t realize it and our room key got tossed in and is now residing in my console. They immediately supplied me with another key. The resturaunt has amazing free breakfast.

We try to stay here every year when traveling from Oklahoma to Ohio. It’s a great little motel in a cute little town. The people are very friendly and the restaurant that’s on the property is top notch. Highly recommended!

Quiet, quaint little motel that looks outdated on the outside, but beautiful rooms! Staff is extremely kind, restaurant onsite with reasonable prices and good food. Any trip that takes us through Pocahontas, we will definitely be staying here again!

This hotel is a real charm. Stopped for one night driving home and it is now my place to stop. Small, but very clean. The staff is super friendly and there’s a great little restaurant. This is no resort hotel, but it is ideal for highway driving - and a great overnight stop! I will stop again

Motels are always a hit or miss for us but the reviews were all excellent so we gave it a go for an overnight stay. It totally lived up to the reviews. Checkin at the restaurant was smooth and quick. Rooms are nothing special but spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and had a quilt instead of a comforter (BONUS!). The free breakfast is custom order at the same restaurant where you check in/out. Delicious and super friendly. We would definitely stay again if ever through the hometown of Gretchen Wilson.

This is an old school roadside motel with recently remodeled rooms. The restaurant is a nice family restaurant and a pleasant place to eat. When we stayed they were including a breakfast from a special restaurant menu—the best breakfast of our two week road trip. Staff is great. AC unit is louder than typical. It didn’t bother me but my son struggled with the noise. I would certainly stay here again if only for the breakfast.

Terribly outdated. No coffee pot, toilet so close to sink your knees are underneath it when you sit. Overpriced more of $65 room. Charged $25 for a pet cleaning when the dog didn't make a mess. Could have gone up the road to a super 8 at almost half the money. Best part was the breakfast

Most years we take a trip that takes us by this charming motel and it’s always our choice for the night between day 1 and day 2 of our drive. It’s ’old school’ in the setup and ‘vibe’. Always clean and well maintained. The restaurant (where you check in) has great food and friendly staff. Pocahontas is a cute small town and it’s great for a morning walk before hitting the road. Recommended

I found a tick in the bed that bit me twice. The WiFi code was expired. The bed was hard as a rock. There was no land line to call the office. I had to go to the restaurant to communicate. The sausage at breakfast was horrible. I had to spit it out. I made them give me credit for the second night. I told them I was not going to stay there another night. They did credit me on that but should have reimbursed on the first night also but I didn’t ask them to do that .
