Check in was smooth but in another building down the street. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Parking was included, in an enclosed garage and located right next door to hotel, and I was able to get two entry fobs for two vehicles no problem. The hotel itself is not in excellent condition but the room was cozy, well maintained and clean. I enjoyed my stay very much :)

Windows need blackout curtains. A/C not working, very plain no decor, kitchen is workable. If you have mobility needs, make sure you contact the property for a first floor unit because there's no elevator. Otherwise, it's OK for the money. The parking is included which is a bonus.

Parking is secured but in another building, still convenient. Kitchen has some basic equipment. Air conditioning is good and shower water is super. Overall is a good stay.

Very clean room, and easy access to it underground parking was great only downside checking in at diferent building. Other than that great place. Will stay there again.

Good value! The pictures were fairly accurate. Check-in is off site as advertised, which is a bit awkward, but pretty clear. Parking included was great.

No elevator

The stay is excellent experience. Indoor parking is free and very convenient.

Bug in the room. Walls paper thin. Strong odor in the hall. The room was minimally furnished and ac unit did not function very well. Also, parking is not connected to the building.

The inside of the unit was clean and fine however, the hallways and the stairwells and no by the way, no elevator for a second floor were dirty carpets were dirty. It didn’t feel good. Then when you did get into your unit, which was clean and lovely unit had a mini split that did not work so it was a boiling hot in there so that was a problem. The next thing was there is, a bar outside so Friday night and Saturday night the two nights we stayed were very, very noisy and he didn’t really wanna open the window because that increase the noise so there was that so overall the inside of the unit was all right, but there is no there is no air conditioning there hall were dirty. The stairwells were dirty. There’s no elevator so really overall not a great choice.

Booked 2 rooms and one was clean and nice, the other had blood stains on the bedsheets and was not clean, dust on the fridge, and around the apartment. It was loud outside because of the local bar down the street making it hard to get a good sleep. The AC remote did not work, and even with the heaters being off, the heaters were still running. It was uncomfortable.

The property is somewhat rundown…blood stains on the bed and sheets not so clean.

The room was fine. Furniture was a little dated though I don’t mind that. Room was clean and complimentary toiletries were nice. The building left a lot more to be desired. The floors were not labelled well and in searching for our room the floor below ours stank of cigarettes and the carpets in that hall were very ugly and appeared very dirty or were stained. The same carpet was on our floor but looked cleaner. Door was labelled clearly and lock was secure. Kitchenette had more than we needed so we didn’t use everything; it seemed well-equipped. Bathroom was clean and shower worked well. Front desk staff (at the partner hotel) was very pleasant and patient with me having trouble understanding his accent. Gave a map and directions to the other hotel and the parking situation. I still had a bit of trouble finding it but once I was there I knew I was in the right place. The building didn’t seem to have any elevator and so we dragged our suitcases up 3 floors. Thank goodness my daughter is strong and I’m able bodied because it was a bit of a workout. You also can’t go from the parking lot straight into the building (have to walk around to the front door).

Chambres propres et grandes & bon emplacement. Malheureusement , l’air climatisé a cessé de fonctionner au début de notre séjour. Nous avons du dormir dans une chambre humide, sans climatisation, pendant 2 jours et demi. Il leur etait impossible de la reparer. Aucune option nous a été proposé de re localisation, de ventilateur ou de dédommagement.

Pour le prix, 109$ la nuit, en général, ce n'était vraiment pas cher. J'ai déja vu bien pire pour plus cher. Par contre, il y a un bar vraiment tout prét donc on entendait la musique et le gens tard dans la nuit. La climatisation ne fonctionnait. Une chance que nous n'y étions pas en plein milieu de l'été. Nous voulions passer le week-end a Ottawa mais ca aurait couté le double dormir sur place. Donc nous avons choisi cet emplacement qui n'est qu'a quelque minutes du centre-ville d'Ottawa. Le stationnement gratuit est un point positif. Sationnement intérieur très récent et sécuritaire.

Nice, clean, spacious apartment, close to downtown Ottawa. Kitchen is a bonus. Check in at different building but very close. Free parking. Would stay again if in Ottawa.

Good location, close to Portage and Alexandra bridges, walking distance from Parliament and Art Gallery. Property not so good: 1. Wi Fi didn't work 2. Very noisy just outside by 2 am, hard to get a sleep. 3. No tea or coffee in the kitchen, just electric kettle, outdated range with 2 spirales. 4. whole room had an unpleasant smell - like unsuccessful chemical treatment of smoking in the room.

Check in person is arrogant. He questioned me if I canceled 1 room with unfriendly attitude (I booked 2 rooms under one booking/paid by 1 credit card) On the other hand, Very satisfied with the housekeeping service, clean our room thoroughly and replace towels daily. Thanks.

The staff wasn’t friendly at all…the lights weren’t working…ac wasn’t working… the communication wasn’t good at all.

After driving about 11 hours to arrive in Quebec, I tried to check in the Hotel Duvernay, but couldn't because check was at A COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY DIFFERENT PROPERTY ABOUT 3 BLOCKS AWAY!!! No mention of this small fact anywhere in the confirmation email...NONE... I was pretty tired from the drive and when I arrived at the property, I couldn't get in because there is no lobby or check-in area... that was 3 blocks away at the Hotel Victoria.... it would have been so helpful if anyone had shared this with me. By the time I was able to recharge my phone and call the "lobby" (at the Victoria) all the free parking by the Duvernay was gone and I had to wait even longer... I have never heard of checking into a different than the one I was staying in in 40 years of travel... once again, there was ZERO indication on my confirmation email that this was the case... utterly unforgivable

There’s no check in the property and I never received any warning about this. The check-in desk is one block away, in another hotel called Victoria. No idea how to get there, no map was provided. My phone helped somehow. It was a rainy day and didn’t have a car. Had to walk with all my luggage to the other hotel. Upon my arrival to the check-in desk I was informed that Expedia should’ve sent this warning upon my reservation. I never received such warning. This sort of miscommunication can affect Expedia credibility. Watch out! Once I enter the hotel, couldn’t believe how dirty the hallways were, stinky carpet all over the hallway with stains everywhere. Do not recommend this place.

Such an amazing place , the entire apartment with a king size bed was mine . The people were so helpful . My car didn’t start at their parking spot and they helped me sort out the issue . Would rate 7 star for them

You get what you pay for. The property was fine, the price was relatively cheap, and the check in guy was rude.

Overall, the property was good. Communication between the staff at the counter can improve. Especially regarding the parking tenure arrangement. There is always a pleasant way to reaffirm the arrangements made previously, just because those who work on the next shift are not aware of it. The location is convenient walking distance of Parliament Hill.

For the price, the room was big and the kitchenette was nice to have. The building hallways were a little worn down, but no complaints about the quality of the room. It was about a 30 minute walk to Parliament, so reasonably convenient to walk to downtown. A good place to stay while visiting Ottawa.

Location is great.

There's no one on site to check you in or go to if you have any problems. The main hotel for this, Les Suites Victoria is just a block away. A small inconvenience, but for the low rate I paid for the room, that was OK. The kitchenette was equipped with everything, but they didnt have any spoons. The TV channels were accessibile for about 2 hours, but then stopped working. Had to call a number to fix that, but I decided to sleep instead.

Room was good, clean and nice, as was hotel. Breakfast a bit meagre. Reception was severely understaffed, lots of waiting. Our door stopped working, it took 3/4 of an hour to get the only staff-person up to open it for us with a key.

The rooms are huge, quite well appointed. The thai restaurant round the corner was outstanding.

I was able to cook for myself, however I wish there was a stove instead of just 2burners. Overall, I was comfortable.

Nous avions réservé avec un déjeuner inclus, arriver sur place, on nous dit que ce n'est jamais inclus, malgré que je lui montre le courriel écrit << commodité: déjeuner inclus >>. L'employé a été respectueux, mais je ne le trouvais pas hyper agréable en vu de la situation.
