First Canada Hotel Cornwall Hwy 401 ON

Man kann nur ein kleines Fenster in einer Ecke öffnen. Da die Klima zu laut war, hat man nachts das Gefühl zu ersticken, da es zu warm wird. Es war Anfang Juni. Es ist wie ein Motel. Das Bad eng und alt nur das Zimmer war neu renoviert. Die Überdecke ist auf der Rückseite verfärbt, man will gar nicht wissen, was das ist. Wir waren nur eine Nacht auf der Durchreise.

In all the accommodations I’ve ever stayed at, and there have been A LOT, I have never once had to ask for clean sheets. Until this place. I’m extremely easygoing and NEVER leave negative reviews, but this experience was so disgusting I feel obligated to warn others. The staff at check-in were very kind, which was unfortunately the only redeeming quality. The room was FILTHY. Hair was everywhere: on the sheets, towels, floors, sink, and throughout the bathroom. There were stains all over the room, including what appeared to be blood stains in the bathroom. The bed was the worst part. The sheets were covered in God knows what, had dirty FOOTPRINTS on them, and there were long black hairs between the pillow and pillowcase. We asked for new sheets, and a woman came in wearing pajamas and Crocs to change them, only for the replacement sheets to ALSO appear dirty. No apology, acknowledgment, or compensation was offered. We literally slept in sweaters and long pants tucked into our socks because we were scared of what we might come into contact with. Outside was also extremely sketchy, with questionable activity and people doing burnouts in the middle of the night. We felt unsafe AND filthy. It was nearly midnight and we were only there for one night, otherwise we would have left. I NEVER leave reviews, so take this as your sign: STAY FAR AWAY.

The room was quite clean.

Staff were very courteous and helpful as we arrived very late in the night.
