Pictures show a deck pool. There is no pool. We used the app to auto-check in. The room allocated was terrible. Air-con did not work - no view - we looked straight into a parking lot. However - once we complained, the manager was amazing. We were moved to a suite with an amazing view. The Vue - restaurant on the top floor with a deck, and amazing views over the Coty and Table Montain - was stunning. The food was top-notch.

Har varit många gånger på Capital Mirage. Tyckte om det pga spektakulära utsikt på frukosten på taktterassen. Men numera har de slutat med det. För frukost hänvisas man till en coffeshop på andra sidan gatan. Poolen på takterassen var en grön soppa och stängt. Och ingen annan pool finns. Synd, men vi kommer att inte komma tillbaka.

Our stay at The Capitol Mirage was great. The room was big & had a lot of things we didn't even know came with the room. There was a full kitchen & a washer & dryer, that really came in handy, a nice balcony too. Uber pick up is great for right outside the hotel. Table Mountain is only a 10-15 minute Uber ride from here, the Marina area is close by too. It's walking distance, but is an easy taxi ride as well. Basically, the hotel is very centrally located. Breakfast on the roof is a great way to start your day & the views are nice too. We ate at the Cattle Baron restaurant in the hotel & the food was exceptional. We had a table outside & it was a great way to end our trip. When we come back to Cape Town we'll be staying here again!!

All good, just don’t be fooled by the pictures. There is NO pool, maybe i just did not read the description properly….rest is all good, breakfast is rather basic, but sufficient. Staff all super friendly. Clean.

The staff is very accomodating and friendly and making you feeling welcome and “home”. Everybody will feel like a valued guest here! And they have the best roof top restaurant in town with the most amazing view. Just push the button in the elevator and you’ll be there….

The staff were fantastic and helped us with many aspects of our travel. The rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. The Cattle Baron restaurant was great. We didn’t eat at the rooftop restaurant, but we did see the view, and it was beautiful. We will stay in this hotel next time in Cape Town!

From the moment I exited my Uber, to the second I walked out of the door to leave, this hotel and its staff was sheer excellence! The front doorman helped me with my luggage as I arrived, then I was greeted with the warmest and kindest smile by the front desk. The hotel was very clean and our room was modern and well-equipped with everything we needed. I have stayed at a lot of hotels over the years, but this is by far my favorite so far! We arrived a bit early and they were kind enough to allow us to check in. The bed was comfortable. We had a nice view of Table Top Mountain. The room was spectacular. From the rainfall shower head to the comfy robe and slippers. It was so convenient to have a washer/dryer in the room as well. However, what made this an excellent stay was the hotel front desk staff. They were always pleasant to speak with and very warm and helpful. I will never stay anywhere else when I visit Cape Town. This will be the only hotel I'll book going forward.

Capital Mirage in Cape Town is such a beautiful, friendly, clean, spacious hotel! Our room has everything we need! The location is great, central, close to many attractions and restaurants and shops! Our room has the gorgeous view of the famous Table Mountain! The hotel has great restaurants as well. We are extremely happy and grateful to stay in this hotel. The best part is the people here are super friendly and supportive! Such as Mimi and Jennifer. Of course there is Nobafundi, she is the manager of capital mirage hotel ! She is highly competent and helpful. All the employees are working hard to take care of the guests here. We want people who are in charge to acknowledge and recognize their hard work and dedications to the hotel! We felt very welcomed! We will definitely come back in the future! By far, this was one of the best places I have ever stayed while travelling (and I travel a lot!). The General manager (Mitch!), the front desk staff, porters, front door staff, cleaning staff were all amazing. It felt like we were staying with friends who really cared about us and went above and beyond to make our stay special. I highly recommend the Capital Mirage!

We arrived a bit early and they were kind enough to allow us to check in. The bed was comfortable. We had a nice view of Table Top Mountain. The room was spectacular. From the rainfall shower head to the comfy robe and slippers. It was so convenient to have a washer/dryer in the room as well. However, what made this an excellent stay was the hotel front desk staff. They were always pleasant to speak with and very warm and helpful. I will never stay anywhere else when I visit Cape Town. This will be the only hotel I'll book going forward.
From the moment I exited my Uber, to the second I walked out of the door to leave, this hotel and its staff was sheer excellence! The front doorman helped me with my luggage as I arrived, then I was greeted with the warmest and kindest smile by the front desk. The hotel was very clean and our room was modern and well-equipped with everything we needed. I have stayed at a lot of hotels over the years, but this is by far my favorite so far! The best hotel I have stayed in for a very long while. Everyone was so accommodating, friendly, and helpful. I could not ask for anything more. We felt like we were staying with family.

Our stay at The Capitol Mirage was great. The room was big & had a lot of things we didn't even know came with the room. There was a full kitchen & a washer & dryer, that really came in handy, a nice balcony too. Uber pick up is great for right outside the hotel. Table Mountain is only a 10-15 minute Uber ride from here, the Marina area is close by too. It's walking distance, but is an easy taxi ride as well. Basically, the hotel is very centrally located. Breakfast on the roof is a great way to start your day & the views are nice too. We ate at the Cattle Baron restaurant in the hotel & the food was exceptional. We had a table outside & it was a great way to end our trip. When we come back to Cape Town we'll be staying here again!!

Excellent, friendly staff and the most beautiful suite with a huge balcony. Great breakfast options just across the road (both were fab) and well located if you don’t mind a 20 minute easy walk to the waterfront. Alternatively Uber is simple to use all over the city and very reasonable. Highly recommend the Capital Mirage!

Pictures show a deck pool. There is no pool. We used the app to auto-check in. The room allocated was terrible. Air-con did not work - no view - we looked straight into a parking lot. However - once we complained, the manager was amazing. We were moved to a suite with an amazing view. The Vue - restaurant on the top floor with a deck, and amazing views over the Coty and Table Montain - was stunning. The food was top-notch.

Har varit många gånger på Capital Mirage. Tyckte om det pga spektakulära utsikt på frukosten på taktterassen. Men numera har de slutat med det. För frukost hänvisas man till en coffeshop på andra sidan gatan. Poolen på takterassen var en grön soppa och stängt. Och ingen annan pool finns. Synd, men vi kommer att inte komma tillbaka.

All good, just don’t be fooled by the pictures. There is NO pool, maybe i just did not read the description properly….rest is all good, breakfast is rather basic, but sufficient. Staff all super friendly. Clean.

The staff were fantastic and helped us with many aspects of our travel. The rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. The Cattle Baron restaurant was great. We didn’t eat at the rooftop restaurant, but we did see the view, and it was beautiful. We will stay in this hotel next time in Cape Town!

Large room and well maintained. Parking under the hotel is spacious and free. Location is good in the centre of the city - though next to a busy street. Location of room (ie which side of the building) will determine how much road noise one gets. Room has a full kitchen, washing machine and tumble drier. Hotel has 2 restaurants - downstairs is cheaper and more standard food, The 15th floor restaurant Utopia has great views and posher food. Tried both and liked both, Bed was comfortable and large (2 singles pushed together but with a topper straddling both. Bathroom has an excellent shower (no bath).

Our stay was awesome overall. The room was big and comfortable with a modern and luxurious bathroom. We cooked one night but the location was really great in terms of being able to walk to great restaurants/bars and some of the sites, and the garage made it possible to keep our rental car safe. Having a washer/dryer was huge because this was the 2nd part of a business trip and packing for both leisure and business over nearly 3 weeks is hard. But I want to make a special mention for the front desk staff and their flexibility. First, they quickly provided us with washing power on the first night so we can do a wash right away. Then, we had a Robben Island visit at 9am on the day of our departure and they let us check out upon our return, which saved us a ton of stress and aggravation. Major, major thanks for that, it's the kind of thing we remember.
