The hotel is located a bit outside of the old city centre (20m walk or 7m Uber) however the walk to the city centre is very pleasant through the streets of San Blas neighbourhood, peppered with nice stores and restaurants so you can get a glimpse of city life in Cusco. The location is very safe and conveniently located close to stores, restaurants, laundry service etc. It was a great spot to use as a base for all excursions and visits in the city. The hotel is very clean, and very well managed - the staff is kind and very helpful (Chantal and Ronnie were delightful - as were the rest of the staff). Breakfast is served in the room and it is fresh and plentiful, giving us a lot of energy for the high altitude treks we did. Another plus is that if you are lucky to have a suite with a view, you will get a beautiful sight of the city of Cusco. We went in late August and the weather was chilly so be aware that temperatures can drop close to 0-5 Celsius in the night. The hotel does provide a personal heater if you request, however do pack sweaters - incidentally the markets offer a beautiful array to choose from. Overall an amazing stay and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for any visitors.

It was a great space for our group of 5 and nice that they bring breakfast to your apartment. Rooms were big. No hot water on first night but fixed quickly in the morning. It’s an 18 min walk from main square which is fine in the day but you wouldn’t do it at night (also uphill) taxis are cheap though. Place is dated and there is no communal area in the hotel. Wouldn’t stay here if I was solo.

The hotel is a little rundown. It’s a bit noisy. They included a continental breakfast, but the coffee was always cold and the juice inexplicably warm. I will however say that the staff were very friendly and helpful. All of them were very nice. It’s also in a good location. It’s about 15 minute walk in one direction to the historical center and about 15 minutes in the other direction to the big mall that has smartfit. No real complaints

The hotel is split into separate apartments each with a communal area (kitchen and lounge) several bedrooms. Clean rooms and a decent breakfast delivered to the communal kitchen. Each member of the team were very helpful and pleasant. A good price reflected in the 10-15 minutes walk to the centre.

The location was very nice and the staff was even better. They made every effort to make my stay comfortable. Top credit to the. My only complaint was that the building was just too cold for european or north american standards.

The staffs are all very nice and helpful. As there is no air conditioning in the unit, at night it was very cold, the staff gave me one more heater and more blankets immediately which made my family feel warmer. When we left to Machupicchu in the early morning at 6am, the staff still gave us five bags of breakfast which was good. The rooms were also very nice and clean. Overall the staff were attentive and the rooms were comfortable. We recommend people to stay here.

Beautiful, spacious apartment with great views of cusco. The area feels very much like a small town and quiet throughout the day. Can feel a little unsafe, most businesses lock their doors even throughout the day. And it got noisy during the night because of the dogs outside. But the apartment itself was gorgeous and just as listed in the photos.

Cozy room. Walking upstairs was a bit uneasy - no rails. But overall it was nice. Easy walk down hill to restaurants. Walk back up hill was rough but not bad. No heat but wasnt cold, qatm blankets! Water was hot for the shower!

A flat “no.” No explanation. No attempt to help. The hotel is very clean, and very well managed - the staff is kind and very helpful (Chantal and Ronnie were delightful - as were the rest of the staff). Breakfast is served in the room and it is fresh and plentiful, giving us a lot of energy for the high altitude treks we did. Another plus is that if you are lucky to have a suite with a view, you will get a beautiful sight of the city of Cusco. We went in late August and the weather was chilly so be aware that temperatures can drop close to 0-5 Celsius in the night. The hotel does provide a personal heater if you request, however do pack sweaters - incidentally the markets offer a beautiful array to choose from. The staff was very helpful during our stay here.We were in Cusco for a few days and they were very accommodating for transportation and recommendations for activities. Then we went to machu picchu and they were able to accommodate our luggage. We returned happily for an extra night before returning home. I was here two years ago and would not go to any other hotel. 10/10

A great stay in a safe location. There needs to be someone at front desk at all times given the early morning activities. Multiple times of ringing the doorbell too much. The guy at the front desk is amazing but he is only one person and can only do so much.

The hotel provided a nice stay for our 1 night in Cusco. It was about a 15 minute walk to the city center which is where most of the restaurants and shopping are. Only issue, which was nothing the hotel could control, was a lot of local dogs barking during the night.

It was a great space for our group of 5 and nice that they bring breakfast to your apartment. Rooms were big. No hot water on first night but fixed quickly in the morning. It’s an 18 min walk from main square which is fine in the day but you wouldn’t do it at night (also uphill) taxis are cheap though. Place is dated and there is no communal area in the hotel. Wouldn’t stay here if I was solo.

The hotel is a little rundown. It’s a bit noisy. They included a continental breakfast, but the coffee was always cold and the juice inexplicably warm. I will however say that the staff were very friendly and helpful. All of them were very nice. It’s also in a good location. It’s about 15 minute walk in one direction to the historical center and about 15 minutes in the other direction to the big mall that has smartfit. No real complaints

Beautiful, spacious apartment with great views of cusco. The area feels very much like a small town and quiet throughout the day. Can feel a little unsafe, most businesses lock their doors even throughout the day. And it got noisy during the night because of the dogs outside. The staff and housing was wonderful. We were warned that the area isn't the safest to walk around but as long as you Uber around you should be fine. The staff was amazing and would even wait outside for our Ubers for us. Breakfast was delicious and had hot showers

The hotel is split into separate apartments each with a communal area (kitchen and lounge) several bedrooms. Clean rooms and a decent breakfast delivered to the communal kitchen. Each member of the team were very helpful and pleasant. A good price reflected in the 10-15 minutes walk to the centre.

The staffs are all very nice and helpful. As there is no air conditioning in the unit, at night it was very cold, the staff gave me one more heater and more blankets immediately which made my family feel warmer. When we left to Machupicchu in the early morning at 6am, the staff still gave us five bags of breakfast which was good. The rooms were also very nice and clean. Overall the staff were attentive and the rooms were comfortable. We recommend people to stay here.

1- RHouse Cusco is in a residential Cusco neighborhood. Almost a dark street. Gets spooky at night. Not an area that gives you feeling of safety. During the day the area becomes very noisy and apartment windows are not noise proof at all. Also it’s an uphill walk from the Main Street. About 10 mins taxi from plaza Aramas. 2- Apartments are not well cleaned. Found a pair of socks of a previous guest in one drawer. Shower was not easy to use and in one shower the water would not drain properly. The ventilation was not great so the toilet had a bad smell. 3- the kitchen was not very clean. It felt like we were using someone’s house that was in current use. Not what you expect from a hotel stay. 4- we got stuck outside the main building door during the mid afternoon timeframe as the receptionist was not present and door was locked from inside. Even if we had the key to the main door, the doors were securely locked from inside. We had to ring the bell, call the attendant. It took about 15 mins for the receptionist to open the door. Not a pleasant welcome back after a tiring early morning excursion. 5- the WiFi only worked in the living room area when it intermittently worked. Not in the bedrooms. A big inconvenience. 6- the room curtains are flimsy. They do not block light properly. 7- there is no heater provided. Extra blankets are what you get. 8- only good things about the RHouse are the comfy beds, views and the great friendly and helpful attitude of the receptionists.

Shower was not easy to use and in one shower the water would not drain properly. The ventilation was not great so the toilet had a bad smell. 3- the kitchen was not very clean. It felt like we were using someone’s house that was in current use. Not what you expect from a hotel stay. 4- we got stuck outside the main building door during the mid afternoon timeframe as the receptionist was not present and door was locked from inside. Even if we had the key to the main door, the doors were securely locked from inside. We had to ring the bell, call the attendant. It took about 15 mins for the receptionist to open the door. Not a pleasant welcome back after a tiring early morning excursion. 5- the WiFi only worked in the living room area when it intermittently worked. Not in the bedrooms. A big inconvenience. 6- the room curtains are flimsy. They do not block light properly. 7- there is no heater provided. Extra blankets are what you get. 8- only good things about the RHouse are the comfy beds, views and the great friendly and helpful attitude of the receptionists.

No hot water! Have to contact for service every time if we need to shower! Dusty room! Do not walk barefoot! And the room are super cold. We got sick because of the cold room. We finally got a heater but doesn't really help. Staff are helpful but not worth the headache. Also loud party noise at all nights. Just do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!
