My room was thick with the smell of insecticide to the point I feel it was probably unhealthy. I stayed four nights and the room was not serviced once during that time. I asked the front desk lady during checkout who told me they would have serviced the room had I asked. Maybe that's standard in the post-COVID era, but I expect my room to be serviced at least every other day without having to ask. Otherwise, the room was fine. Kind of old, but everything worked, it was clean upon my arrival. Parking is convenient.

The motel is good for the price and also it is pet friendly . The beds are comfortable and it is quiet to sleep. The area around the motel is beautiful with lots to do. There is some other nice amenities such as a larger room refrig and full size coffee maker. Good for one night and if you are on a budget.

Location was good and sheets/bedding seemed clean. However, the property and room was in need of repairs. The door had a cheap (unsafe) lock, the toilet seat was broken, air conditioner was blowing air, but we could not regulate the temperature. We left our sign (please clean room) out when we left early in the morning and when we returned after 6 it hadn't been cleaned. I called the office and was told the housekeeper "couldn't read the signs" ? She did ask what we needed and brought down two towels and some soap. Our room never got cleaned the four days we were there. The pool was locked - so unable to use or sit by (dirty chairs and water anyway) although it was 85 degrees. We did find someone to unlock it later. Used water bottles in frig and dirty carpet and bathroom floor.

After reading all of the positive reviews we were surprised to find all these issues with the room: -what appeared be blood stains on the bed sheets -shower didn’t work properly (hot water and water pressure) - bathroom was grimy with missing tile and missing door molding -slight odor in the room It’s nice to save money but it’s worth it to pay a little extra and stay in one of the nice properties in town (Packwood House, Arbor House, Sherwood Inn)

My wife and I had business in Skaneateles and found the motel to be just what we needed for a simple overnight stay - clean, comfortable, convenient location at a reasonable price! The “check in” was very easy and the family that runs it was very friendly and helpful - even when I lost my room key! Thank you! We’d stay there again! 👍

If I would pay 80-90$ per night then fine, I would know what to expect. But I paid 199$. I expected descent conditions. The place was dirty, dust on the floor. The smell in the room was horrible - strong cheap perfume, probably from the laundry. The water in the bathtub didn’t drain properly and left an unpleasant puddle around my feet during the shower. The photos on the website didn’t match the actual experience. Again — if I were paying $80–90, that’s what I would expect to get. But not for $200. True, it’s still relatively inexpensive, but it’s still $200 — and for that price you can deliver much more value. There were no available power outlets in the room — I had to move the bed just to find one. The old AC unit made an unpleasant noise. The tap water had a terrible taste; we didn’t drink it, of course, but even brushing our teeth with it was pretty shocking. One of the lamps was flickering like it was about to burn out, so I just turned it off. The toilet paper in the bathroom was whatever was left from the previous guest — a partially used roll. Not exactly pleasant. Bottom line, not the best experience...

Great location near Skaneateles and Auburn. But had a layer of dust on nearly everything and someone else's hair in the bed sheets, tub and all over the bathroom. Poor water pressure provided in low-flow shower head.

The cleanest motel I’ve ever been in! Although this is a very modest propriety that hasn’t been updated, it is well maintained and well attended to. Very affordable and well located. Support small businesses and independent properties!

Got to the hotel after 4pm, had to knock on the door at least 3 times. Older gentleman came to the door and couldn’t find our reservation. He called his wife and they ended up putting us in a room behind the hotel. The room had obviously been just sprayed down with Febreeze (floors were still wet with Febreeze) as we found out why a half hour later. The water had a VERY heavy sulfur smell just like rotten eggs. We complained to the front desk and they placed us in a different room. The new room had dead bugs on the bathroom floor, tv wouldn’t work, window was cracked and the water still smelled like sulfur, just not as bad as the other room. Terrible experience

This property is quite old and outdated. However, all the towels and linens were of nice quality and the bed was very comfortable. If you need a place to lay your head for the night and don’t want to spend a ton of money, this place will do.

Easy to unload and load up the car. The highway was noisy but once you were in the room you couldn’t hear it. Didn’t like a the notes in the room about how to get rid of the garbage and how to get clean towels. Beds were not made,coffe maker wasn't cleaned and neither were our coffee mugs.

Booked standard apartment which was spacious and comfortable but this property needs some improvements and modernization. Stayed for two nights with no fresh towels or housekeeping service. Hot water in shower was very difficult to control, either too cold or too hot. The bed was old and way too soft.

Very dated motor lodge located a close driving distance to the village of Skaneateles, the only perk. The office is not regularly staffed. Stayed in room 4...room was basically clean. The bed and pillows need be replaced, bathroom was clean but tub is old, did not use. I believe faucets are well water, I used only bottled water for drinking and teeth brushing. The Inn only provides 2 bottles, others were $1 a piece, honor system. This location was all that was available for a last minute booking.

I'm a solo traveler. At some point after I went to sleep a very loud gathering happened seemingly right outside my door. It was LOUD and when I tried to call the desk there was no answer. I felt incredibly unsafe as well as having my sleep interrupted to the point that I do not feel safe driving today

This motel was comfortable but bare-bones. The lobby was never open; we had to ring and call for service. Bathroom had no plugs/outlets, toilet handle was cracked. Beds were comfy and clean. Seemed overpriced for what we got.

Our room never got cleaned the four days we were there. The pool was locked - so unable to use or sit by (dirty chairs and water anyway) although it was 85 degrees. We did find someone to unlock it later. Used water bottles in frig and dirty carpet and bathroom floor.
Location was good and sheets/bedding seemed clean. However, the property and room was in need of repairs. The door had a cheap (unsafe) lock, the toilet seat was broken, air conditioner was blowing air, but we could not regulate the temperature. We left our sign (please clean room) out when we left early in the morning and when we returned after 6 it hadn't been cleaned. I called the office and was told the housekeeper "couldn't read the signs" ? She did ask what we needed and brought down two towels and some soap. My wife and I had business in Skaneateles and found the motel to be just what we needed for a simple overnight stay - clean, comfortable, convenient location at a reasonable price! The “check in” was very easy and the family that runs it was very friendly and helpful - even when I lost my room key! Thank you! We’d stay there again! 👍

Easy to unload and load up the car. The highway was noisy but once you were in the room you couldn’t hear it. Didn’t like a the notes in the room about how to get rid of the garbage and how to get clean towels. Beds were not made,coffe maker wasn't cleaned and neither were our coffee mugs.

The beds were comfortable, the towels were clean, the lighting was ok. I did not like the water pressure, it was very low for both the sink and shower. Also, at some times, the water coming out of the faucet (not showerhead but bathtub faucet) was brown. And, at one point while showering the water shut off almost entirely for a couple seconds. This is more of a personal complaint but through Expedia it claims that bottled water is free but upon arrival water bottles are $1 (which isn't bad but they don't accept card and don't give change). Overall, I would probably stay here again because it was mostly quiet (apart from a noisy neighbor) and it was close to where I actually wanted to be in NY.

I highly recommend This Inn. The refrigerator in the room was stocked with water and soda for a VERY minimal fee! So very worth it for convenience. The staff was so welcoming. The location is very close to all there is in town

The motel is good for the price and also it is pet friendly . The beds are comfortable and it is quiet to sleep. The area around the motel is beautiful with lots to do. There is some other nice amenities such as a larger room refrig and full size coffee maker. Good for one night and if you are on a budget.

I can't wait to stay here again. It is a motel aside of a semi busy road. That is the only negative. It is clean, well kept, the bathroom was comfortable to use. The refrigerator has water and snacks you can purchase in a pinch. Everyone is nice and accomodating. The bed was comfortable, the technology worked well and I was able to check in with work while on vacation. It is very close to Skeaneatlas and there is a great ice cream shop very close by.

The room was clean but very old. The shower produced no hot water. The only amenities were bottled water and a couple cans of pop that you would pay for at a minimal cost. I had limited interaction with staff but they were very abrupt It wasn’t a bad stay but I wouldn’t stay again.
