Black Bear Lodge Motel

Room decor was cute but not clean there was used soap left in the bathroom. Check in process was not easy never told we had to check in at a different place. It seem like people were living there.Room was really dark not enough lighting, the towels looked stained and the fridge sounded like it was on its last legs. Someone checked our door handle in the night and the couple next door was very loud was talking like they were in there own home and left a song playing all night long to soothe a crying child which made it hard to sleep. The beds were horrible and hard. We will be back to the RRG area we loved it but we will be seeking other accommodations.

Be sure to understand where to get the key. We had no communication and had to knock on another guest door to find out where our key was. I called the next day for more coffee and nobody answered the phone until late at night. Again, I had to ask another guest for coffee. The office did provide later the next day. It’s a great location and very budget friendly. The walls are thin, so be prepared to hear conversations.

Pros: In a great location to all the things we wanted to do. Room was cute and the air conditioner wirked well. Cons: The shower head stunk and the tub held water and did not drain well. The wi fi on day one made it impossible to watch tv because to many people was on it but by day 2 no one was there and we has no problems with it. No house keeping so once i made coffee the 1st morning i had nothing left for the 2nd. Over all it was not to bad and fprnthe price we paid i was satisfied.

I passed it up three times.... hard to find in the dark.

The rooms were very clean plenty of parking air conditioner work great wouldn't mind a little newer bed, but that's price point. You can't beat it.
