-Free parking spots. -Mini Gym available. -Decent adult swimming pool -The breakfast is nicely done. They have waffle options, French toast, eggs, and either turkey patties or sausage links depending on the day. -Dryer and washer area -Grills if you want to cook outside. Cons-The Double sofa bed was beyond horrible and absolutely uncomfortable as a bed. They need to get rid of this and get an actual sofa bed. hence the -1 star.

Clean room, bed was on the firm side but not the worst, great kitchen and fully stocked cupboards (pots/pans, dishes, silverware, colander) the pool floor was ridiculously slippery we ending up sliding or feet instead of picking them up and walking normally. Fire pit was so relaxing and breakfast was good.

Pool was cold, the heater was broken. There was no hot tub. One of the elevators was out of order. The breakfast area is very congested and not a good location. It was a convenient 2 block to the Mall though.

Awesome stay. Great staffs. Clean room. Nice breakfast. Walkable distance to the mall. The best part is the Tesla charging on site. We will definitely be back and stay longer.

Hotel is within walking distance to the Mall of America and across the highway from the airport, so you do hear planes flying overhead, which I did not mind. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was decent with few choices and a waffle maker. Cons: The hotel and room had a strong perfume smell upon arrival. Being someone who is very sensitive to perfume smells, I had to drive to Walmart (10 mins drive) and get some air fresheners. Hotel has heated pool but no hot tub!!

Very clean. Everytime we walked around the hotel the staff was constantly cleaning- mopping, cleaning the artwork on the walls, cleaning the gym equipment. The continental breakfast was well stocked and well tended to by staff. Overall, it was very pleasant, quite and convenient. Would stay again.

It’s clean relatively new. The only downside is that staff didn't notice or ignores smoking in other rooms even though I booked a non-smoking. The entire corridor where our rooms were smelled of somewhat like weed or smoke during our entire stay.

Property was very clean. Pool was clean and well maintained. Great selection for breakfast. Was in close proximity to the Mall of America (practically out the parking lot and into the MOA parking garage). Was surprised wasn't more expensive! Would definitely recommend.

Amazing property! It's a suoer clean place. Just fyi, if you are planning on using the couch bed for your kid, its a super thin mattress. I did not know until checkout that you can request an extra mattress to put on your couch bed. I wish I had known. If you have a heavier teen, you’ll need the extra padding! Besides that, I loved having the full fridge. I lived that it's located across the street from the Mall of America and IKEA too.

Just a heads-up to future guests: the pool and hot tub were out of service during our stay and apparently won’t be back until June or July. We were offered free access at a nearby sister hotel, which sounded nice... until we realized it meant walking 10 minutes through a construction zone and uneven walkways. Coming back cold, wet, and in the dark just didn’t feel safe—especially for a group of women. It kind of defeated the whole idea of relaxing. On the plus side, the hotel’s close to the Mall of America, and we really appreciated having a kitchen in the room—that definitely made meals easier. But for the price, we expected a bit more comfort and convenience. The biggest surprise? The “king” bed. It was definitely not a king. We’ve seen queen beds with more room, and after six hours of travel, all three of us were looking forward to stretching out—so that was a letdown. The bedroom felt tight, while the bathroom was oddly huge. Honestly, if we could’ve traded some of that tile space for extra mattress, we would have. Noise-wise, you’ll hear planes overhead about every 15 minutes. Not a dealbreaker, but something to know if you’re a light sleeper. There wasn’t a water dispenser near the ice machine either, so we ended up boiling tap water just to have something to drink. We didn’t get a chance to try breakfast, so I can’t speak to that. All in all, it had a few nice features, but the experience didn’t quite match the price tag—especially when you're expecting comfort.

We love this hotel! The room was small but every inch was used well. Loved having a full sized fridge! There was an extra table under the desk table. Lots of lighting. 2 full sized mirrors. Lots of storage space for your clothes. Not a huge vanity but drawers to store your stuff. Closet inside the bathroom with plenty of hangers and shelf's. Nice shower wonderful water pressure and easy to adjust. Swivel on the TV so you can watch it easy. Only downside of the room was there was no clock. Only one was in the microwave and one morning it looked as though we lost power because it wasn't displaying anything. I had my phone but I turn it off at night. Even a small one from IKEA would be great! You can walk to MOA so easy didn't have to move our car. There are planes that fly overhead BUT we were on the 4th floor and we're not bothered by them. The insulation between rooms is incredible! Breakfast was really good even had sugar free syrup available. 15 to the zoo! Had bus transportation from the mall to the MN fair. Just so convenient! All in all one of the best places you can stay around MOA.

Even though they advertise a "standard" king room, the bed is NOT standard king size. The mattress measured 9 inches narrower than a "standard" king size bed. The tag on the mattress says "hotel king." This is not a standard king like they claim

We reserved a room with 2 queen beds but when we checked in we were told that they over booked and only had a room with a king bed and a pullout. The pullout bed has a very thin mattress and is very uncomfortable. we were able to switch rooms on the second night that had 2 queen beds. Other than that everything was great.

We reserved a room at the beginning of our trip. We also reserved a room for a night at the end of our trip. Due to us arriving very laye at yhe airport. We requested a late check on. Simce it was after midnight. Tje staff knew we were late and they were ready for us. Made us feel good.

It was very refreshing to see a staff that was this good. When we checked in our TV didn’t work. The maintenance man came right away. The TV couldn’t be fixed so they moved use to another room with no problem. Staff was more then will ing to help with the inconvenience and apologized. Bests staff I have seen in years!!!!

It was a great stay. Convenient location. Very clean! Staff was so nice. Thank you Angelo for the great check in. Breakfast was great. Wish the serving area was a little more spacious, but had a lot of choices. I would definitely stay again and the price of the King Suite was reasonable.

The reviews were so good we had high expectations but ended up being disappointed by the small pool, dirty surrounding area and no closeby pet friendly spaces for dogs to do their business. The hotel staff working the breakfast area was rude and annoyed when asked about refilling waffles. The pull out sofa bed was so rough and you could feel the springs. They do not provide housekeeping even when requested. I won't be staying at Marriott again. I wrote them a comment and will see if they reply.

Check in was a breeze. Jonah checked us in and he answered all of my questions. He was very friendly all through our stay. The hotel is conveniently located by the Mall of America. Our room was clean and comfortable. I definitely will be staying at TownPlace Suites again!

Staff were friendly and the property is in great shape — recently renovated and rooms clean. Handy for a short stay by the airport and Mall of America. Not the most pedestrian-friendly area — wish the walk over to Mall of America was a little more pleasant.

Friendly staffs, very clean and new property, room is nice look like a studio condo type and got everything I need for comfortable stay, Location is great, only 5-10mins walk to the mall of America and close to airport also. I would definitely stay here again, highly recommend!!

Very clean, quiet, with great amenities. Location is super convenient as it is a 7 minute walk to the light rail station, with connections to the airport and downtown Minneapolis. Across the street from Mall of America. Appears to be freshly renovated, both inside and out.

We loved our stay at TownePlace Suites! The staff was amazing. Super convenient location, right across the street from the mall and a light rail stop that takes you straight to the airport or downtown. The room was clean and comfy. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend

Townplace Suites is our go too! This place was great. The breakfast was a lil lame, no breakfast meat. I didnt mind but my Husband was disappointed. Not the norm for this chain. Except for that, all was wonderful as usual. Thank you

This is the 2nd time I've stayed here and would definitely return, plus recommend it for anyone I know. We went for the purpose of the Mall of America, and this hotel is conveniently located across the street. We parked our car and never drove it the entire 3 nights we were there. The breakfast was great and staff was very friendly, especially the lady who worked the breakfast area every day.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed here and would definitely return, plus recommend it for anyone I know. We stayed here for 12 days and can't say enough good things about this hotel. Friendly staff, clean, comfortable, and convenient to everything. I loved that they even had gluten-free options for breakfast. At first I was concerned about the hotel being close to the airstrip but the noise did not bother us. It was not bad at all.

Hotel is within walking distance to the Mall of America and across the highway from the airport, so you do hear planes flying overhead, which I did not mind. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was decent with few choices and a waffle maker. Cons: The hotel and room had a strong perfume smell upon arrival. Being someone who is very sensitive to perfume smells, I had to drive to Walmart (10 mins drive) and get some air fresheners. Hotel has heated pool but no hot tub!!

We were upgraded to a one bedroom and it worked great for our one week stay. Breakfast was very good and parking was easy. The value for the dollar was excellent.

Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff! The bathrooms are too small, though. The downsides….having to pay for parking, and their breakfast is terrible. Super small food selection, soaking wet eggs, and not much else. The sausage offered one day was horrible. The space to get your food is ridiculously small. With so many other hotel options, I’m surprised that it’s like this. I expected more for the price paid.
