There were no buggage carts to transport belongings from car. Other than that everything was good. Metal bed frames too squeaky. It would have been nice for us older citizens to have an arm chair.

the attendant Matt was very helpful with our stay. We were able to eat in the dining room for our dinner. This was a wonderful experience in this establishment.

Its a very nice facility. For a small town this is a great option that all small towns don't have. Although a bit on the expensive side. Also the 'continental breakfast' is pretty worthless, but I am sure that is difficult to maintain in a little place like that. Lastly - The air conditioner in room 202 has some issues. The fan will not continue to run if you set it to, and the whole system while it cools seems to reset about every 8 minutes.. Really annoying while trying to sleep. Overall I would expect to pay about 60-80 pernight for this place, not the $110 plus...

I enjoyed staying in the updated room last week. It was very clean. Parking is close & complimentary. I would recommend staying at Belva Deer Inn while in Sigourney & surrounding area!

They are remodeling the property and it was great! Much better than expected and what is in the pics. The breakfast was a little disappointing and our tv didn't work in our room and was still super outdated and small but those are just minor things. the bed was comfy and the room was really clean.

We stayed here overnight for a family visitation and funeral in Washington. Nice, newer 2 story motel. Room and inn clean with all amenities. Breakfast included, which was bagels, toast, cereal, frozen waffles. Definitely recommend for the area.

Simple hotel, clean !!! Continental Breakfast very simple - just the basics though- very friendly/homey. Bed was nice, bathroom was clean! Clean shower, offers body wash and a conditioning shampoo. Friendly desk staff . Will stay again.

Being that this place is in Iowa in February it was freezing. After we checked in and opening our room the heat was completely off and it was FREEZING in there. If I check into a hotel I expect to be able to actually be able to enjoy that room right away without waiting for the room to warm. It was so cold we left and drove around and came back. We have stayed here for years and have never had this issue. If someone is checking in be kind and turn on the heat so the room is ready.

Great Hotel, clean with a good shower and TV. Breakfast is eh and the towels need replaced they are getting old..

Rooms were clean. The bedding definitely need updated. Sheets were so thin I could see through them & blanket was stiff and scratchy. The breakfast is toast and cold cereal.

Its a very nice facility. For a small town this is a great option that all small towns don't have. Although a bit on the expensive side. Also the 'continental breakfast' is pretty worthless, but I am sure that is difficult to maintain in a little place like that. Lastly - The air conditioner in room 202 has some issues. The fan will not continue to run if you set it to, and the whole system while it cools seems to reset about every 8 minutes.. Really annoying while trying to sleep. Overall I would expect to pay about 60-80 pernight for this place, not the $110 plus...

They are remodeling the property and it was great! Much better than expected and what is in the pics. The breakfast was a little disappointing and our tv didn't work in our room and was still super outdated and small but those are just minor things. the bed was comfy and the room was really clean.

We stayed here overnight for a family visitation and funeral in Washington. Nice, newer 2 story motel. Room and inn clean with all amenities. Breakfast included, which was bagels, toast, cereal, frozen waffles. Definitely recommend for the area.

I dont have anything good to say about this stay. From walking in to walking out. Its a place I have stayed over the years and watched these owners make the very old motel across the street look beter all the time. Breakfast is frozen pancakes thawing in baggied, bagels that are worse than sawdust. Cereal or nothing and the cereal is stale. Its gotten do bad. Beds are old and lumpy. Shower was filled with moldy caulk. I would not shower there for fear of a disease. The AC stops cooling at 73. The TV remote did not work.

I enjoyed staying in the updated room last week. It was very clean. Parking is close & complimentary. I would recommend staying at Belva Deer Inn while in Sigourney & surrounding area!
