Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham - Penn Yan

Clean and good location

We have stayed here before and have never been disappointed. We had a 2 queen room which was clean and comfortable. There was a fridge, microwave and a safe in our room. Parking is free. The only thing lacking here is a more substantial breakfast: better variety of hot and cold items. Everything had to be microwaved. There is water, coffee and tea available 24 hours. The Tavern Restaurant next door has great food, reasonable prices and they are open until 1 am. There is Sunoco gas, Tops Market and Laurentide Brewery within 2 blocks. Within a 5 minute walk, there are many other shops and restaurants, ie Angels Diner and Wagners. Our group socialized in the lobby each night.

We did not eat at the breakfast bar this time.

Room was small but we were able to move to a bigger one. Staff was very helpful. Town is so cute - highly recommend!
