More like an air bnb than a hotel. No concierge or check in. They just five you a door code to access the room. No maid service or fresh towels. We only stayed 2 nights so perhaps that’s the policy but still… the pull out bed in the suite had a terrible mattress - springs poking out. On the bright side, the location is wonderful. Walk to town and all of Edgartown. We don’t spend a lot of time in the room when we travel so overall if was just okay. If you’re looking for something with panache or luxury this isn’t it.

Perfect location. Very close to the Main Street with all the shops. No need to drive a car. The staff working are very friendly. The room I had was older than the photos online. The fridge did not have a handle and was old. The carpet is also old with some stains. I had a second level room and the stairs are not wide. If you are a senior or have kids I won’t recommend the second floor room. I will recommend this Inn and will stay again when visiting Martha’s Vineyard. With parking and a convenient location I can’t ask for anything more.

The property looks much better than its pictures. It’s in a very good location, walkable to the ferry or the bus stop not to mention all the shopping and dining varieties. Our rooms were very clean, but there is carpet in the main living space. If you are a coffee drinker, bring your own. They provided an old style coffee maker, (not a Keurig) and the coffee was horrible. So we still had to go out for coffee.

Lovely room, separate bedroom, and a fully equipped kitchen for cooking those large lobsters from the local fisheries in Menemsha. Clise to everything in Edgartown. A big plus was a parking space for the car. Rooms have private entrances. Almost dont want to write a great review, there may not be a room for me once this gem is discovered.

This property was perfect for what we needed. We were within walking distance to everything in Edgartown and the price was very reasonable. The rooms were clean and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again

Darling, cozy property in a great location with a convenient kitchen but could use some new carpet or flooring and beds. A little worn out. The staff was very helpful and location couldn’t be beat but definitely could use some renovations.

Very good overall and super comfortable bed. Nice and helpful host. The only minor negative is the couch was uncomfortable with cushions that had no support. Needs replacing. Overall B plus.

A great option if you are looking for a stay with a kitchen, living room area. New England charm. We had a few bumps with our stay. We were four people and had requested two extra pillows which took a few days to acquire. And unfortunately, the pullout sofa bed is an air mattress which sprung a lake and completely deflated the last night. That was a terrible situation for the two that slept out there. The difficulty is communicating with staff as they ask you to text. Customer service for a hotel really needs to be if not available in person certainly by phone. I’ve stayed here before and would I stay here again… Yes, I would. I’m sure they will make an accommodation for the situation. They’ve been helpful if not delayed so far.

The property is close to attractions. We found it to be quiet and peaceful. The staff was accommodating and friendly. The cons were that the unit we stayed it was a tight fit for a family of two adult and two small children. No way 4 adults could fit there. Also it was a bit pricey for what it was. Would recommend to a couple.

This is a road trip to Ed town. I must say lightkeepers in was a delight. They were super responsive. The accommodation was lovely and close to everything.

A lovely spot near the downtown, shopping, restaurants and the wharf. It had everything we needed.

Lovely room, separate bedroom, and a fully equipped kitchen for cooking those large lobsters from the local fisheries in Menemsha. Clise to everything in Edgartown. A big plus was a parking space for the car. Rooms have private entrances. Almost dont want to write a great review, there may not be a room for me once this gem is discovered.

The property looks much better than its pictures. It’s in a very good location, walkable to the ferry or the bus stop not to mention all the shopping and dining varieties. Our rooms were very clean, but there is carpet in the main living space. If you are a coffee drinker, bring your own. They provided an old style coffee maker, (not a Keurig) and the coffee was horrible. So we still had to go out for coffee.

We enjoyed our stay: the main bedroom was fine with a wonderful bed, linens etc. would b better w more storage area: no place for storing clothes! Definitely need more hangers! Also needs some art on walls—pretty austere! Sofa bed in living not comfortable; mattress quite thin and hard. Kitchen area well-stocked and attractive. Bathroom well stocked and fine; had to call for an iron, but otherwise fine. Main issue: we were not sent a code to get in when arriving on a late ferry; by sheer luck we ran into a property manager, Lauren, who helped us! This could have been a serious problem! Communication needs to be better and more frequent since there is often no one on site!

We were I. Town for a regatta and this was the perfect place to stay! Less than 5 min walk to the yacht club and the Chappy ferry. Our room was adorable with machete and seating area, very clean and a comfy bed! We will definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay on our first visit to Martha’s Vineyard. The place was immaculate and located in a great spot relative to all the action. The remote was missing and we contacted our host. She went out of her way to replace it immediately along with a nice gift for the minor inconvenience. If we make our way back to Martha’s Vineyard, the Lightkeeper Inn will be at the top of our list of places to stay.
