Niranta Transit Hotel Terminal 2 Arrivals/Landside

Stayed at the property for a day. Very luxuriously appointed. Pros : -As a solo traveller, the single bed was sufficient. -Toilet facilities were clean and fresh. -Complimentary breakfast buffet was excellent. -Bar facility available on premise. -Elevator and stairs available. -TV was working!😁 Cons : -Even with the AC off, the room was very cold. -There was a constant squeaking noise. To smoke, you need to step out of the Airport, and the hotel provides an outpass that needs to be validated with the security. Having said that, it was a really good stay experience for me!

Having arrived at the airport terminal I followed the hotels directions which were not the best but eventually found someone from the hotel who lead us to the actual hotel itself. We checked in and found the room to be good and the bed very comfortable. As we had been travelling all day we decided to go and have a beer at their bar which was advertised on their hotel website. We were then informed that there was no bar where we were and that staff would take us to another part of the hotel which was near the terminal itself. We then followed a member of staff for a few minutes walk until we arrived at an entrance manned by soldiers and police where on checking our paperwork could not decide whether we should be allowed access to the hotel. The member of staff who lead us there clearly decided he didn’t want to get involved so we gave up and went to a bar near the terminal where we ate and had a drink. We had very poor service from this hotel which was quite expensive and I cannot recommend this hotel

It is now a ritual that I stay at this hotel one day before my flight out. And it’s also a great place to crash if you land at ungodly hours and don’t want to do a hike to the rest of Maharashtra immediately. Whether there’s a cab driver strike or flooding or whatever creative reason Mumbai throws at you, I love being able to check out 90 mins before my flight, dropping my bags and boarding. Excellent spa and restaurant make it even better.

They advertise it as being in the airport, but the room I was in was in another wing, and you left terminal 2, walked thru a parking garage to get to it but they did escort us out and back in. Then, to leave you had to re-enter the airport from the parking garage, which was a little confusing at first... and it was 1 am when I was trying to find my way around. But the room service food was very good, and didn't have to deal with Mumbai traffic while waiting for next flight.

Very convenient transit hotel with a 24 hour spa

I had elderly parents with me. It was a nightmare getting assistance from the parking lot to the hotel. Nobody in the airport parking knew how to reach the entrance. We ended up driving around twice and my 85 & 92 year-old parents finally walking and pushing luggage through crowded trolley-filled elevators trying to reach. I booked a room for THREE, there were 2 beds, 2 cups, 2 towels, 2 tea bags and 1 water cup. The check-in clerk asked me to go to the room first and check if they needed to add a spare bed instead of arranging a third bed before checking us in. There was barely enough room for 2 plus one extra cot, room 402 is DEFINITELY not suited for 3 in spite of the premium price. It seems like I should have had some VIP amenities, but I was told nothing as to what they were. The staff is slow and inefficient, except for one room service guy who was the single person responsible for every room amenity for the entire hotel, resulting in delays in fetching the cot & towels. I had a hard time getting clear answers regarding paid wheelchair services to reach the departures the next morning. There was a different person at the desk each time I called. I got a free 15-minute foot reflexology massage which was nice. The room is modern and very-well appointed with high-end finishes. But for the $120 I paid, and don't even know what I was supposed to get for my money. Overall, I would recommend that guests ask questions to know exactly what you are paying for.

Good value if you are in transit and require the basics. Air Conditioning was top notch! Clean, comfortable bed, mostly quiet depending where they place you, and affordable. My wife raved about the foot massage she received in the spa. Note, you are limited to dining options of hotel restaurant and limited options of the entrance of the arrival hall.

Hotel is attached to the airport. I also had an excellent deep tissue massage in the spa.

Our room smelt of dry mould. There was dust everywhere on cabinets, bedside etc. carpet in room was a little worn out & dirty. The toilet flush was stiff to operate

Rooms unclean and old need to upgrade the cleanliness. Everything is old and outdated

Room was so small that no place to put two suitcases! Linen used was old and dirty. Actual holes in the duvet cover! Bathroom countertop was non existent. And staff so so. Noisy outside rooms. Can easily hear noise from other room and corridor! Charging outrageous amount. Only plus is that it’s inside the terminal building.

Rummet var bra men väldigt litet. Fräscht badrum med god kvalitet på produkterna. Lyhört, hade svårt att somna. Men när man bara är på rummet för att sova några timmar mellan flyg är det helt okej.

You expect TV to work when you check into a hotel.

It was convenient to stay in an airport hotel as I was in transit but the rooms had no windows and were very noisy. I could hear toilets flushing and lots of unidentified noises coming from above me. Clicks and tapping.

Room without a window. Going out for some fresh air requires a gate pass, ledger entry, security check, and unnecessary inconveniences.

Rummen var extremt lyhörda. Var som om grannen snarkade och gjorden sina behov i mitt rum. Jag sov intr bra där. I övrigt rent och fräsht, perfekt för vila i transfer eller ankomst med sen flight

We only stayed at the hotel for 8 hours as we had a late evening flight to catch. The hotel initially charged more than the quoted Expedia price so after 20 mins of discussion they charged the initial quote ( tiresome.) Overall a useful hotel for a very short (hours stay) Hotel is in terminal so no windows.

The room is small and thin walls. You can hear your neighbors easily. However, coming into the airport at 1am, this was perfect. It had a clean bed and clean bathroom, all one needs for a short stay. Very convenient as it was a an extremely short walk within the airportz

Check in was swift. Got to the room, the size of the room for the price charged wasn’t justified but that’s the price you pay for staying inside an airport I guess! I then find out Wi-Fi & Tv isn’t working. Rang reception a few times before someone came over to sort it. Now that’s sorted headed for showe, bathroom is of decent size. Hot water worked well. Time to catch up on some sleep after a long journey. Not a great sleep due to the intermittent noise from corridor. Sound proofing was bad literally could hear every word of some of them talking on phone and some creaking sound don’t know what that was! No choice had to put up. Time to venture out for dinner. Lots of fast food options exteriorly at the other levels of the airport so that was all ok. Staff members were helpful when required . Check out was swift and super handy for access to departure due to the proximity. So you can see the positives and negatives. If you want to avoid the hassle of staying out then this is the place for one night before the connection flight but with a hefty price tag!

Be prepared to endure over-the-top security to enter the hotel. Did not appreciate the rude desk clerk during the check-in process. Considering the exorbitant rates the hotel charged, we felt like we were being treated like criminals. The tv did not function and there were few amenities in the hotel. In contrast to the check-in staff, the restaurant staff could not have been more delightful. The waiters were attentive and the chef came by our table to make sure we were happy with our meal. Overall the hotel is convenient but definitely not worth the money.

I had a great stay. This place is very conveniently located inside the airport and was a great option for my random 13 hour halt in Mumbai. I forgot the charging case of my headphones and the hotel and specially Mr. Jagannath were extremely helpful in bringing me my case right upto my boarding gate! I’m very appreciative and thankful for the service!

The directions to the hotel are poor, including on their own website, the signage at the airport is also significnatly lacking. There are two different entrances to the hotel, and it was not at all clear which one you needed to go to. The front desk staff were also very slow to check us in, taking over 30 minutes. They also tried to only give us 3 rooms when we had booked 4. I had booked the rooms for myself and 3 work colleagues, and they kept on trying to split us up and take me to my room when they finished checking everyone in, which would have been a disater had I gone up to my room before they finished checking everyone in, as they would have then tried to force two colleague to share a room rather than each get their own room as we had booked. The breakfast was underwhelming, with the bread for the toast quite stale, and the mini crossiants also seemed to have been out for quite a few days. The room itself was alright, but didn't have any windows. The fridge wasn't working either.

Hotel staff does not pick up the phone. Why is this important? Airport security will not let you in without an escort from the hotel. We spend a good 1 hour trying to call the front desk. Finally someone answered and we were escorted.

Initially entering the hotel it looked very pleasant. However the two staff at reception were dealing with a customer query so I was not acknowledged for a time. Customer service could be better. Granted I arrived early in the morning due to a previous flight delay so staff might have been tired. There was no information about the breakfast that was included The room was ok, I thought it needed updating, my understanding is the hotel is fairly new so I was surprised it wasn’t as nice as expected Good shower with good water pressure The sink was not clean

I had a smooth and pleasant stay at this airport hotel. Check-in was quick and well organised. The room was comfortable, quiet, and perfect for a restful night. The restaurant had great options and a friendly service. A very convenient stopover.

The hotel is understaffed and the signs for check in are not in place. The hotel has less attendants and everything is really slow. It took me 50 mins for check in. Ambiance is the only part holding the value for what you pay. NO TV CHANNELS at all. At the end of the day you go to a empty room with no entertainment. The management needs to step up and resolves the issues. No one picks up the phone at front desk for correct directions to the place.

If possible, you can find the entrance to the hotel downstairs by departures. Otherwise, you need to enter at arrivals; then exit by elevator to go downstairs. This can be very confusing. An airport bellman escorted us to the hotel.

It's not possible to access the hotel unless you arrive in the T2 terminal. If you arrive in T1 and are expecting to spend the night in the hotel, don't. You will be stuck outside until your flight is departing in less than 6 hours.

The proximity to the airport is unbeatable. Room was very clean. Staff were really helpful. Check in/out was super easy.

We booked here because we had to be at the airport at 4am. Hotel was ok, rundown and worn, and our room was noisy since we were two rooms away from the restaurant. Overall ok, and obviously no shuttle needed. However it was difficult to find, since we arrived at terminal 1 and had to transfer. Learned later that it is super easy to follow signs if you arrive in terminal 2, but there are no description or signs if you enter from the outside of terminal 2. We were turned away twice by military security because they did not know the hotel exists.

Did what I wanted it to - somewhere to stay right by the airport but able to sightsee in the city centre (you get a day pass) via the close by Metro station (Aqua Line - just INR120 return off peak). Breakfast was good and filling. Room wasn’t all that quiet (even with ear plugs) due to all the arrivals and departures. Getting back in after visit to city was a real pain - you have to get back in via the car park and I had no idea what level. So ask the desk when they give you the pass.

If you want to go for dinner, the hotel itself has an excellent choice of kebabs and biryani and beer. However, nothing more. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the staff is amazing. You will only want to use this hotel if you are transiting in terminal two of course. And for that purpose it is an excellent place. Very quiet has all the amenities you need and just a hope from check-in!

I had to send back the dinner, the chicken was smelling of fish, clealry hygiene issues in the kitchen. Very shocking that the gas flame in the kitchen is always on full blast, even when not being used - health hazard as well eco hazard. Over worked and exhausted staff, they aim to please but mostly don't seem to comprehend much - I think the managment of this hotel is over working the staff, with 12 hr shifts to save money, pretty pathetic. Frankly, I would not stay here again if I had a choice.

Traveled from USA. Exhausted. Easy to find hotel and to check in. Super comfortable. Wide variety of Indian food for breakfast.

Everything was good staff, services, room quality. I ate breakfast only and food didn't taste well could have been better.

It was a perfect stay for our transit. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast sucked... the service was so slow that you lose your patience and end up not having the breakfast. Majority of the dishes were empty and when we asked the chef for refills he kept on saying 5 minutes and we waited for 1hr. Then finally just left. I wouldn't recommend breakfast here.
