However, please keep in mind that many of the building’s facilities are old. When I asked for a towel at the pool, a female staff member said something, but I couldn’t understand the Thai-style English she was using. So when I asked again, he suddenly got angry. He got angry, saying, “Why can’t you understand what I’m saying?” Of course, I also made a mistake by mishearing the word “reception,” but that doesn’t mean I should be angry, does it. Most of the hotel staff treated me kindly with a smile, and I don’t think getting angry because they can’t understand or hear Thai-style English is the attitude of a hotelier.
