This has to be one of our favourite hotels during our 4 month SE Asia travels! You just stay here if you are going to Hanoi. Its walkable to Old Town and many other must sees, it has the most beautiful bar and roof top jacuzzi. The daily breakfast is delicious and the staff are so friendly!

The rooftop bar, restaurant and spa offer great city during meals and at night, a great place to unwind after a hectic day schedule. The hotel is within 5 minutes walk of Train street and the Markets. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. There is a mini mart and a tech shop within a minute walk for those that need power adapters. Highly recommend staying here.

Overall the property is clean and have great staff but if you look closely, it could use a slight touch up to get to give star. The walls, windows and doors are not very sound proof. Also need to walk to sister hotel (Peridot Grand Hotel) to use large pool and gym.

Staff in reception area have fabulous English and are friendly and very helpful. Very comfy bed. Awesome breakfast. Nice jacuzzi/pool with seating upstairs with views over city. Great location

Our stay at Peridot Gallery Classic Hotel was truly exceptional. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary, and the staff went above and beyond to make it extra special — from the thoughtful room decoration with towel swans and rose petals to the surprise anniversary cake waiting on our bed. It was such a sweet and memorable gesture that warmed our hearts. The hotel itself is stylish, clean, and located conveniently in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter. The staff were consistently polite, warm, and attentive. They even packed us a takeaway breakfast for our early morning flight — another thoughtful touch that we deeply appreciated. They actually gave us a bar voucher at check-in, which I thought was great. Went up to the bar to get a drink before dinner, was told it was happy hour thus cannot use the voucher, but only after they served the drinks despite announcing I was using the voucher during my order. No problem, went for dinner, came back for more drinks after dinner, and after serving my beer (opening the cap) then telling me I can't use the voucher again because voucher is not applicable for beers, despite again having informing the bartender I'm using the voucher before ordering. This guy is really crooked. I guess the empty bar should have been my first hint not to patronise the hotel bar. The room had no windows, but this seems like a regular thing in Hanoi. The cleanliness was not up to par which was surprisingly tho. Bathroom shower fixture also had issues.

Our stay at Peridot Gallery Classic Hotel was truly wonderful! The room was spotless and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. One of the absolute highlights was the rooftop area such a peaceful spot with a stunning view over the city. Watching the sunset from up there, surrounded by lush greenery, was pure magic. A perfect place to unwind after a busy day exploring Hanoi. Would definitely come back.

We initially booked for two nights but decided to stay for only one. Despite a recent renovation, the hotel felt run-down. When we entered the room, it had a terrible, nauseating odor. The room was tiny, and the persistent smell made me feel sick. It was so bad that we had to book a room at another hotel the next day. Additionally, the hotel staff made us uncomfortable. They reached out to me on WhatsApp even before we checked in and continued to bother me during our stay.

We had a lovely stay in this hotel. All the staff are very nice and helpful esp the front desk. Rooms are clean. Breakfast was great as well. Has a very nice location and close to mostly everything you need like convenience store, money exchage, souvenir shops, restaurants, cafes etc. I would highly recommend and will gladly book this hotel again if we return to hanoi in the future.

I stayed here for two nights. Even before I arrived they messaged me via WhatsApp and made sure that I had all my arrangements and if I needed anything. When I first arrived in Hanoi, and then flying out with 4 nights in between. As I was traveling from another country I had luggage I didn’t need. They were very accommodating towards me and allowed me to leave my luggage for those 4 days and it was ready for me when I came back. The staff were so friendly and always made me feel like a VIP. Never did they let me carry my bags! On my return, they still remembered me, and even upgraded to a room with a view for free. My luggage remained safe the whole time. The rooms were cozy but definitely fancy and clean. I saw them cleaning the rooms and they really do deep clean them. When I checked out, I forgot my luggage keys in the lounge as I was rearranging my luggage before the airport. I called them using WhatsApp. They again were so accommodating and luckily I’m early at the airport that they sent a Grab to deliver my keys to the airport. They were so amazing, and I’d definitely recommended them to anyone and I would go back again. They are a big reason I love traveling to Vietnam. I would like to give a shout to William/Minh, who really went above a beyond! I cannot express how much gratitude I have right now.

I had some nervousness around booking in Hanoi. As the first stop on my Vietnam trip, plus traveling with my mother, it felt like a choice with consequence. It seemed like reviews of every single hotel said the guest had been strong-armed into leaving 5 stars. I went with my gut choosing Peridot and couldn't be happier! Also, while i was asked politely to leave a review it was with zero pressure, and I was not asked to do it while staff watched. And I am DELIGHTED to review this place because they have been outstanding. From the seamless airport pickup to the sparkling clean rooms to the delicious breakfast, everything you could want a hotel to be, it has been. The staff are so helpful and friendly, it's been a pleasure to interact with each one. I've had several WhatsApp exchanges to discuss various arrangements or questions, and they respond quickly and thoroughly. My mother unfortunately got quite sick right after we arrived, and everyone was very kind and accommodating. They also provided was excellent travel planning help for day trips and moving on. Great location: Easy walk to the heart of the Old Quarter, loads of businesses within a block, quiet as I think Hanoi gets - which is not very, but the din is removed enough that it's almost soothing. The property is gorgeous - photos are accurate. Hot water is hot, there's good water pressure, super nice beds, blackout curtains etc. Highly recommended.

Loved our stay here! Family of 4 in connecting rooms and it was a great amount of space, nice tub, cute balcony, big king bed for the master room - each room had their own bathrooms. The rooftop spa pool was great with a beautiful view. Buffet breakfast was delightful. Amazing mini Bahn mi! There was a concierge that was so lovely - gave fans to the kids and was just so warm and welcoming. Wish I remembered his name! Hotel is close to shops and street food. We walked everywhere! Would stay here again.

This is a gem of a boutique hotel in a perfect location in the old quarter. Beautifully appointed,full service and extremely attentive staff is matched by a wonderful dining experience- both dinner and breakfast buffet. The roof top is amazing. Perhaps the best complement is the best sleep on the most comfortable bed ever! Did I mention the incredible price? Look no further.

This was a beautiful hotel. Nicely done. Clean and up to date. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room wasn’t large but it was super done with great details and very clean.

Overall the hotel was great and in a good location for Hanoi. The only thing that let it down slightly is that for our room the walls were quite thin and so we could hear other rooms/the pipes in the building fairly easily. Would definitely recommend it as a place to stay!

Beautiful property in a good location! Beware some rooms do not actually have a window where you can see outside light which would have been helpful to know prior to booking but otherwise everything was great! Lovely staff too!!

Das Hotel liegt super zentral in der Altstadt von Hanoi – perfekt, um die Stadt zu Fuß zu erkunden. Insgesamt waren wir eine Woche dort. Die Preis-Leistung ist okay, das Frühstück bietet eine gute Auswahl, bleibt aber über Tage hinweg gleich. Ein wenig Abwechslung wäre wünschenswert. Der Frühstücksraum ist recht klein, sodass wir mehrmals 5–10 Minuten auf einen Tisch warten mussten. Die Zimmer sind sauber und zweckmäßig, aber eher klein. Die Bäder sind teilweise veraltet, besonders bei den Armaturen und der winzigen Badewanne. Merkwürdig: Zimmer einer niedrigeren Kategorie hatten modernere Bäder. Klimaanlage funktioniert, ist aber schwach. Fernseher haben keine Smart-Funktionen – schade. Ein großer Minuspunkt sind die Fenster: keinerlei Schallschutz. Man hört das Hupen, Gespräche und Lautsprecherdurchsagen ab 5 Uhr morgens – an Schlaf war oft kaum zu denken. Hier sollte dringend modernisiert werden. Der Service ist freundlich. Regenschirme kann man leihen, allerdings mussten wir für einen bereits beschädigten, verlorenen Schirm 300.000 VND zahlen – etwas überzogen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Hotel im Vorfeld war schwierig, eine einfache Verlängerung unseres Aufenthalts zog sich unnötig in die Länge. Fazit: Ein nettes Hotel mit guter Lage, aber einigen Schwächen. They actually gave us a bar voucher at check-in, which I thought was great. Went up to the bar to get a drink before dinner, was told it was happy hour thus cannot use the voucher, but only after they served the drinks despite announcing I was using the voucher during my order. No problem, went for dinner, came back for more drinks after dinner, and after serving my beer (opening the cap) then telling me I can't use the voucher again because voucher is not applicable for beers, despite again having informing the bartender I'm using the voucher before ordering. This guy is really crooked. I guess the empty bar should have been my first hint not to patronise the hotel bar. The room had no windows, but this seems like a regular thing in Hanoi. The cleanliness was not up to par which was surprisingly tho. Bathroom shower fixture also had issues.

The staff at Peridot Classic is the highlight of our stay. They are nice, they remember you and smiles and greets you all the time. We enjoyed our breakfast with nice view of Hanoi Old quarter, it is walkable to many restaurants & circle K is right in front of the hotel. Will always recommend staying here when in Hanoi. more than 5star hotel.

I don’t usually write hotel reviews, but my stay at Peridot Gallery Classic Hotel was so exceptional that I had to. Even after 10 months (stayed May 2024), I still think about how incredible it was. I stayed here for two nights. Even before I arrived they messaged me via WhatsApp and made sure that I had all my arrangements and if I needed anything. When I first arrived in Hanoi, and then flying out with 4 nights in between. As I was traveling from another country I had luggage I didn’t need. They were very accommodating towards me and allowed me to leave my luggage for those 4 days and it was ready for me when I came back. The staff were so friendly and always made me feel like a VIP. Never did they let me carry my bags! On my return, they still remembered me, and even upgraded to a room with a view for free. My luggage remained safe the whole time. The rooms were cozy but definitely fancy and clean. I saw them cleaning the rooms and they really do deep clean them. When I checked out, I forgot my luggage keys in the lounge as I was rearranging my luggage before the airport. I called them using WhatsApp. They again were so accommodating and luckily I’m early at the airport that they sent a Grab to deliver my keys to the airport. They were so amazing, and I’d definitely recommended them to anyone and I would go back again. They are a big reason I love traveling to Vietnam. I would like to give a shout to William/Minh, who really went above a beyond! I cannot express how much gratitude I have right now.

Easily the best hotel we’ve stayed in Vietnam. And we’ve been to many. Service was impeccable right from the start. Too bad we only stayed for one night. They remembered my partner’s birthday, surprised her with a cake when we came back from touring. And layered her with a lucky charm for her birthday gift and then a fan upon knowing that we were on our way to Cat Ba. All the staff were exceptionally helpful. From receptionists to wait staff at the restaurant. One of the highlight stays of our trip! Will definitely recommend everyone who comes to Hanoi to stay at this hotel!

Excellent staff! Incredible breakfast with authentic pho! Lovely local fruits! Vietnamese coffee! Tracy contacted me as the staff noticed I went out late in the evening (looking for a body scrub scrub & hair shampoo as I had 2 full days of excursions) & fixed me a honey chamomile tea to help with sleep! All restaurants staff and managers were amazing! Bed was so comfortable!

We had the pleasure of staying at this Hotel for 3 nights As a 4star hotel it punches well above it’s weight Firstly it’s greatest attribute are their staff At all levels. From the cleaner the doorman the waiting staff in restaurants & bar & the eloquent front of house guest relations could all not be kinder The rooms are beautifully appointed. We had a deluxe room on the 4th floor with a small balcony to view the busy street below in the old quarter. A small downside is it can be a bit noisy from the street, due to being in the heart of the old quarter, the sound deadening helps. The rooms are beautifully appointed & in particular the beds & bedding. The best I’ve ever experienced in comfort & a sanctuary of a busy day out in the frenetic quarter A plus & minus for the bathrooms. Whilst very elegant & well appointed the shower can spray into general area & make marble floor slippery. For the first few days we accepted this, due to so many pluses within hotel, however on the last night a slip became a little treacherous. We chose to make a complaint & the Hotel & staff were right onto it with many apologies. Well exceeding our expectations the management made a point of extending our room stay for a late check out into the early evening due to our inconvenience & knowing full well we had a late evening train connection This to us was the epitome of customer service, well exceeding our expectations. Special Mention to Hazel & Aubrey on front desk for making this happen

I had some nervousness around booking in Hanoi. As the first stop on my Vietnam trip, plus traveling with my mother, it felt like a choice with consequence. It seemed like reviews of every single hotel said the guest had been strong-armed into leaving 5 stars. I went with my gut choosing Peridot and couldn't be happier! Also, while i was asked politely to leave a review it was with zero pressure, and I was not asked to do it while staff watched. And I am DELIGHTED to review this place because they have been outstanding. From the seamless airport pickup to the sparkling clean rooms to the delicious breakfast, everything you could want a hotel to be, it has been. The staff are so helpful and friendly, it's been a pleasure to interact with each one. I've had several WhatsApp exchanges to discuss various arrangements or questions, and they respond quickly and thoroughly. My mother unfortunately got quite sick right after we arrived, and everyone was very kind and accommodating. They also provided was excellent travel planning help for day trips and moving on. Great location: Easy walk to the heart of the Old Quarter, loads of businesses within a block, quiet as I think Hanoi gets - which is not very, but the din is removed enough that it's almost soothing. The property is gorgeous - photos are accurate. Hot water is hot, there's good water pressure, super nice beds, blackout curtains etc. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel, good breakfast with lots of options to have, room super comfortable and rooftop has amazing view. I recommend to go up to checkout the sunset with a cocktail as both are a great match ☺️ Thanks to everyone working there!!!

Wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. The location is great and walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The building itself is nicely updated, modern and stylish and the staff are all helpful and professional. All of them spoke English with proficiency to fluency. A cute bar and pool upstairs with panoramic views of the city. The highlight was the breakfast which included fresh fruit, pastries and coffee in addition to ordered dishes from crepes to pho. Very vegan friendly and they work to accommodate other dietary restrictions.

The staff a very friendly, professional and helpful! The hotel is well situated, I was able to get to majority of the points of interest within a 15-20 minute walk or a short Grab ride. The breakfast was excellent. Of note, please keep in mind this in the heart of the old quarter if you are expecting quiet you may want to consider that but then again that is one of the charms of Hanoi!

Location inside the Old Quarter section of Hanoi, Vietnam. Convenient walking distance to many restaurants and tourist sites. Beautiful view from the 12th floor rooftop. I'd consider this a Boutique Hotel meaning it has more charm than modern conveniences. Food and breakfast in their 11th floor restaurant was excellent. The staff was over the top in their warmth and assistance. Special shout outs to: Audbrey, Son, and Mingh!

This hotel was excellent. The front desk people are wonderful. The facilities are great. The rooms are very nice. Not huge, but adequate and nice. The restaurant and its staff are superb. We couldn’t ask for a better restaurant. Breakfast buffet was great. The location was great. Right in the center of Old Quarter Hanoi. Walk to everything. Watch for scooters. This hotel is a blast from the past with its yesteryear charm. We loved our stay there. The only improvement I’d make would be to clean the pool and get new beds. The beds are very hard. Would I let those things keep me from staying? No way. We’d stay there again for sure. There’s no gym, but there sister hotel 5 minute walk away has a good one. We loved this hotel. The staff there were all great.

This hotel is a blast from the past with its yesteryear charm. We loved our stay there. The only improvement I’d make would be to clean the pool and get new beds. The beds are very hard. Would I let those things keep me from staying? No way. We’d stay there again for sure. There’s no gym, but there sister hotel 5 minute walk away has a good one. We loved this hotel. The staff there were all great.

Die Preis-Leistung ist okay, das Frühstück bietet eine gute Auswahl, bleibt aber über Tage hinweg gleich. Ein wenig Abwechslung wäre wünschenswert. Der Frühstücksraum ist recht klein, sodass wir mehrmals 5–10 Minuten auf einen Tisch warten mussten. Die Zimmer sind sauber und zweckmäßig, aber eher klein. Die Bäder sind teilweise veraltet, besonders bei den Armaturen und der winzigen Badewanne. Merkwürdig: Zimmer einer niedrigeren Kategorie hatten modernere Bäder. Klimaanlage funktioniert, ist aber schwach. Fernseher haben keine Smart-Funktionen – schade. Ein großer Minuspunkt sind die Fenster: keinerlei Schallschutz. Man hört das Hupen, Gespräche und Lautsprecherdurchsagen ab 5 Uhr morgens – an Schlaf war oft kaum zu denken. Hier sollte dringend modernisiert werden. Der Service ist freundlich. Regenschirme kann man leihen, allerdings mussten wir für einen bereits beschädigten, verlorenen Schirm 300.000 VND zahlen – etwas überzogen. Peridot hotel is located conveniently in Hanoi Hoan Kiem District. The facility was clean and the staff, William, was very friendly. The room was very clean and quiet. The rate included daily buffet breakfast. The hotel also provides the option to order from the breakfast menu free of charge. The well known restaurants near the hotel are Don Duck, and Banh MI25. I will definitely stay there again.

We stayed again at the Peridot at the end of our trip for one night before heading back to Canada. Beautiful room and bathroom. Great shower, toiletries and storage in the room. Love the comfy beds! Awesome service from the front desk and staff who delivered our luggage to the room. They have the best buffet breakfast we experienced in our 3 week trip to Vietnam. They make an excellent iced coconut coffee! Would stay ther again.

Had great stay, service excellent in all areas, friendly staff do all possible to create a great experience. Breakfast buffet is fantastic, with additional menu items such as pho, crepes, banh mi, coconut coffee. Rooftop bar is excellent, great happy hour and two additional outside seating areas with jacuzzi and spectacular views. Location great to walk to Old Quater.

Wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. The location is great and walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The building itself is nicely updated, modern and stylish and the staff are all helpful and professional. All of them spoke English with proficiency to fluency. A cute bar and pool upstairs with panoramic views of the city. The highlight was the breakfast which included fresh fruit, pastries and coffee in addition to ordered dishes from crepes to pho. Very vegan friendly and they work to accommodate other dietary restrictions.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The customer service is fantastic, the common areas are very nice and clean, the room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and we had the choice between cooked meals or buffet. Either options were phenomenal! We highly recommend this hotel!

Location inside the Old Quarter section of Hanoi, Vietnam. Convenient walking distance to many restaurants and tourist sites. Beautiful view from the 12th floor rooftop. I'd consider this a Boutique Hotel meaning it has more charm than modern conveniences. Food and breakfast in their 11th floor restaurant was excellent. The staff was over the top in their warmth and assistance. Special shout outs to: Audbrey, Son, and Mingh!

Great location, friendly staff, fantastic breakfast. The only thing we would fault is the shower flooded the bathroom when used as there isn't a way to keep the water from spraying out of the shower. We stayed two nights and toured all around the old quarter on foot so it was great to be able to pop into the hotel for a quick break since it's centrally located. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Staff are excellent and are extremely helpful. Breakfast is great and indeed a very nice surprise, with excellent pho (soup noodle) and banh mi (Vietnamese sandwiches). Good location and within short distance from everything.

Great customer service, friendly staff and great location! Weeks before arriving Tracy was making sure I had everything sorted for our trip, very helpful!!! Beautiful hotel, good breakfast with lots of options to have, room super comfortable and rooftop has amazing view. I recommend to go up to checkout the sunset with a cocktail as both are a great match ☺️ Thanks to everyone working there!!!

We had an amazing stay at a peridot. staff was welcoming and friendly. only knock was how the showers were built, which allowed for very wet bathroom floors. Otherwise would recommend for anyone visiting Old Quarters to consider staying here. Also splurge a little to get the deluxe room so that you have a window.

the staff was amazing, very courteous and helpful. the only knock would be the height of getting into tub to shower and all the water runoff which keeps the bathroom floor wet. but otherwise a great place to stay

They need to replace their faucet, they whole handle turned almost coming off when we tried to turned on the water. We stayed in two different rooms, they were all like that.
