Hilltop View Guesthouse

In the pic looks lovely with petals on the bed when we asked about the petals we was told they were for a photo shoot also we asked for a safe for our valuables we was told there is no safe cos no one is coming there. The directions from town was very misleading it was miles from town the lady host was not helpful at all .she had the cheek to ask me for 160 dollars government' tax which i refused. We stayed one night out of 5 did not get any refund at all loss $12.000 the lady had a very bad attitude. The area was rubbish so was the accommodation. If you like rude people stay there AVOID THIS PLACE

I made perfect choice booking the guest house whoch was close to Castries. The place was clean and so very comfortable. Well equiped kitchen with everything you would need for the trip. What sold me was the service. Anne, the owner is a super wonderful host. We arrived on the ferry after 9pm. She collected us from ferry dock. She was concerned about whether we were hungry or in need of a supermarket stop. Then she brought us to a food truck so my brother who complained of hunger could get something to eat. When we hot to the guest house, we were in awe of the view of Castries in the night. Waking up the next morning and seeing Castries in the day was more awesome. Anne was so helpful. She gave us a ride to Castries the next day and a typed guide as to how to make it back home (where bus stops and taxi stands were) plus she told us that we vould call her at anytime if we needed anything. The first night. Anne inquired as to our plans the next day. She then offered and next dsy dropped us off to the Rodney Bay bus stand. Wonderful experience as our boat was leaving Castries next day at 7:30am. Anne dropped us to the ferry terminal at 5:30am. That itself deserves 10 out of 10 rating as i know many hosts wouldnt do that. Anne cares about her guests. Its not only about making money. I will definitely be back. And for those misewabs who spoke of the dogs, they only bark when you go up to their kennel. Great guard dogs who made us feel even more secure.

House sits top of the hill .. last one on top. Hard to get to without a car .. owner happy to pick us up and drive us ard .. with a fee. Location pretty close to town

A few things could be improved: 1) the location on the map in Hotels.com says this is in the Castries close to the ferry. It is not. It isn't walkable to the ferry (45 min away with winding hills). 2) The room doesn't look like it does in the pictures provided on Hotels.com. That is important to us as that's how we select our stays. 3) We asked for a wash rag and it wasn't provided, nor was a blanket- just a sheet. 4) We had to dust a few bugs off of the bed. Not sure if they even checked before we arrived.
