Kluane Park Inn web site says restuarant closes at 10 pm. When checking in at 7:45pm asked about restuarant and was told that restuarant was closing at 9pm. Unloaded car and showed up at restuarant at 8pm expecting to eat. I was then told that the restuarant was closed. The next morning the restuarant was not open yet when we left at 8am. No food this morning. Baseboard heat in room did not work, but a 12"x12" electric heater was in the room so we used that (label on microwave said not to use the microwave while the electric heater was on). The bed my wife slep on had a patched sheet. The hotel itself is in various states of disrepair.

You have to check in at the bar. There us no signage to indicate this. Bar tender was busy and not to friendly. The back door to the bar leads to the paring lot where the patrons hang out to smoke and sing at the top of their lungs at midnight. We ate at the restaurant. We all had a Chinese entree. It was gross. Heavily breaded and my chicken was hard and dry. Skip this place

We stayed for 5 days and it was great here. It's quiet, the staff are amazing, and the mountain view absolutely breathtaking. I dont want to be negative because it really was a nice stay but I work as a housekeeper so I always check for cleanliness, the rooms are clean but the remotes were disgusting. I used wipes and alcohol wipes to clean the remotes. We also washed our laundry at their laundromat so we didn’t bring back dirty laundry. A wash is $4 & a dry for the smaller dryers is $5 and the huge dryer is $1 for 4 minutes. As I stated, I am a housekeeper and I was so tempted to go look for a broom and mop to clean the washrooms, showers and laundry area. We do want to go back here but I will be sure to have more alcohol wipes and maybe a duster. The food was amazing and everything was nicely priced.

It was loud, no ac, bathrooms and walls were filthy, there was used soap packets in the shower. Just overall disgusting. The smoking section was right next to the rooms and due to no ac we had to leave the window open. The froklnt desk clerk was also the bar tender. Just not a good experience

One of few places to stay in Haines junction. The motel was just ok..beds were not comfortable and I kept killing bees in the room all evening.

The area and setting are beautiful with the mountains so close. But the hotel felt dingy and rundown. Blankets and bedspreads were not clean. One of the locals told us NOT to eat at the restaurant attached to the hotel because people tend to get sick after eating there. They advised we eat down the street at the pub, which was excellent advice. We tried to sit on the deck outside our room to enjoy the views, but the hotel/restaurant staff and friends sat outside chain smoking, and the smell was so strong we had to go inside. There was a constant stream of local traffic driving up to the side door of the restaurant to buy cartons of alcohol. And at 6 am there was an excavator right behind the hotel that sounded like it was going to come right through our wall. On the bright side, town is walkable to the pub and the incredible bakery! But there are nicer hotels in town!

Was given a key to 204, when we got there someone was already occupying the room. Went back down to the front desk and sent to room 106. There was no inside lock on door, so who was stopping anyone from getting my door key? I kept our luggage on the "day bed". It did not look safe for sitting or using as a bed. The window was filthy with dead bugs covering the screen. It was warm outside and hot in the room. No fan or ventilation. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

By far the DIRTIEST place I’ve ever stayed. Sheets had hair and dirt in them. Floor seemed like it hadn’t been swept in ages. Beyond disappointing— couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

This is rural Yukon, so bear that in mind. But the recently renovated motel rooms are clean and comfy, with a good size fridge, microwave and a coffee maker. If you only drink tea like me, best to bring a kettle and tea bags. The nice folks at the KPI restaurant gave us milk capsules each night so we didn't have to rely on the Coffee Mate in the room. The KPI is centrally located and it's hard to beat the view out the front window.
This is rural Yukon, so bear that in mind. But the recently renovated motel rooms are clean and comfy, with a good size fridge, microwave and a coffee maker. Right on the corner of a busy intersection. Gas station across the street had the best sticky buns I have ever had. Started off our drive with coffee and breakfast topped croissant. Very good. Highly recommend. Decor in motel wasn’t great. Had those 90’s best western bed covers and brown blankets to probably hide stains. We brought extra bed sheets in case of that reason.

Very Nice Accomodations, Walk in shower was real nice. The address was wrong, I had to go to a gas station to get the right address for the property. Their phone to the property did not work. The actual Sign on the property was very small and difficult to read. Had I not talked to the Gas Station Owner, I would not have found the hotel. Once there, all was good.

There was no inside lock on door, so who was stopping anyone from getting my door key? I kept our luggage on the "day bed". It did not look safe for sitting or using as a bed. The window was filthy with dead bugs covering the screen. It was warm outside and hot in the room. No fan or ventilation. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
Was given a key to 204, when we got there someone was already occupying the room. Went back down to the front desk and sent to room 106. Very Nice Accomodations, Walk in shower was real nice. The address was wrong, I had to go to a gas station to get the right address for the property. Their phone to the property did not work. The actual Sign on the property was very small and difficult to read. Had I not talked to the Gas Station Owner, I would not have found the hotel. Once there, all was good.

We stayed for 5 days and it was great here. It's quiet, the staff are amazing, and the mountain view absolutely breathtaking. I dont want to be negative because it really was a nice stay but I work as a housekeeper so I always check for cleanliness, the rooms are clean but the remotes were disgusting. I used wipes and alcohol wipes to clean the remotes. We also washed our laundry at their laundromat so we didn’t bring back dirty laundry. A wash is $4 & a dry for the smaller dryers is $5 and the huge dryer is $1 for 4 minutes. As I stated, I am a housekeeper and I was so tempted to go look for a broom and mop to clean the washrooms, showers and laundry area. We do want to go back here but I will be sure to have more alcohol wipes and maybe a duster. The food was amazing and everything was nicely priced.

This is rural Yukon, so bear that in mind. But the recently renovated motel rooms are clean and comfy, with a good size fridge, microwave and a coffee maker. If you only drink tea like me, best to bring a kettle and tea bags. The nice folks at the KPI restaurant gave us milk capsules each night so we didn't have to rely on the Coffee Mate in the room. The KPI is centrally located and it's hard to beat the view out the front window.

Right on the corner of a busy intersection. Gas station across the street had the best sticky buns I have ever had. Started off our drive with coffee and breakfast topped croissant. Very good. Highly recommend. Decor in motel wasn’t great. Had those 90’s best western bed covers and brown blankets to probably hide stains. We brought extra bed sheets in case of that reason.

Kluane Park Inn web site says restuarant closes at 10 pm. When checking in at 7:45pm asked about restuarant and was told that restuarant was closing at 9pm. Unloaded car and showed up at restuarant at 8pm expecting to eat. I was then told that the restuarant was closed. The next morning the restuarant was not open yet when we left at 8am. No food this morning. Baseboard heat in room did not work, but a 12"x12" electric heater was in the room so we used that (label on microwave said not to use the microwave while the electric heater was on). The bed my wife slep on had a patched sheet. The hotel itself is in various states of disrepair.

Honestly you won’t get better in the middle of winter in Haines junction. The rooms had been spruced up a bit. Breakfast was a little so so, but again, it is winter in the Yukon, things are slow.

You have to check in at the bar. There us no signage to indicate this. Bar tender was busy and not to friendly. The back door to the bar leads to the paring lot where the patrons hang out to smoke and sing at the top of their lungs at midnight. We ate at the restaurant. We all had a Chinese entree. It was gross. Heavily breaded and my chicken was hard and dry. Skip this place

The area and setting are beautiful with the mountains so close. But the hotel felt dingy and rundown. Blankets and bedspreads were not clean. One of the locals told us NOT to eat at the restaurant attached to the hotel because people tend to get sick after eating there. They advised we eat down the street at the pub, which was excellent advice. We tried to sit on the deck outside our room to enjoy the views, but the hotel/restaurant staff and friends sat outside chain smoking, and the smell was so strong we had to go inside. There was a constant stream of local traffic driving up to the side door of the restaurant to buy cartons of alcohol. And at 6 am there was an excavator right behind the hotel that sounded like it was going to come right through our wall. On the bright side, town is walkable to the pub and the incredible bakery! But there are nicer hotels in town!

I was very pleasantly surprised. I know this is an older hotel, but my room was clean, comfortable, and the bathroom nicely renovated, great water pressure in the shower. I had a mini fridge, and makings for instant coffee, and a microwave. There were wonderful flowers along the balcony. The hot breakfast that is included of 2 eggs and toast with a potato patty, tea and coffee were very nice! I felt very satisfied with my visit for sure, and will likely stay there again!

Convenient, had amazing shower pressure, the bed sheets appeared clean and mattress comfortable enough but that is the only things going for this property. The room was filthy. The building was filthy. I had read reviews and came prepared with cleaning supplies. Had enough supplies fortunately. Had to clean the streaks of pee and the puddle in front of the toilet on the floor. Unfortunately it was just too much for me to clean around the whole, grossly dirty toilet. The bathroom faucet had some horrible funky sticky orange stuff on the underside of the faucet spout that caught me off guard when brushing my teeth. Super yuck. Proceeded to do a more thorough disinfecting around the sink, faucet and counter, as well as door knobs, light switches and all horizontal surfaces. All filthy. And sanitized the shower. One could read this review and say maybe I was a bit picky but the toilet was soiled all down the front, blackish soiling (needing deep cleaning) around all parts of the toilet seat and hinges and the push button flushes on top of the toilet tank. Omgoodness, yuck. I brought sifter wet floor wipes and was glad. Cleaned our floor walking path throughout our room and around the bed that had sticky spots all over. Made the mistake of the free breakfast only once. Language barrier was common in an around the much of the area and definitely at the Inn.
