The experience was good. Checkin was fast although there were many guests in the queue. The parking facilities needs to be improved. Currently there is allocated parking lots for hotel or hotel guests. We had to go round the entire car park like all other shoppers in the mall.

Usually stay here when I come in form SG with my wife. Very convenient location as it’s attached to Mid Valley Mall. Rooms are spacious and clean. Gym and pool are adequate. Breakfast options run out and take a bit long to refill.

Everything was ok except when we visited the view bar and lounge on the 28th floor at 9pm, there was no food available as the kitchen was supposedly closed early due to an event they had earlier and the beer and cocktail ordered was not up to par. The service staff manager offered us some peanuts which came late and in a very tiny plate, as if they were on a ration. There are much better bistros and bars near the hotel and visitors are advised to avoid the 28th floor view bar and lounge at all times.

They closed all access to the parking after midnight and i had to go around the midvalley for numerous times just to find the entrance to the parking. When i asked the security, they pointed to Gate 2 but it was closed as well. After several rounds, went and see the security at the lobby again and he said it is open without even checking it. Had to argue for some time before he finally reached out to mall security to help and open the gate. Please improve.

Fifth stay with the hotel. Location is great with many amenities and restaurants within the mall. However, the gym’s threadmill & some other machines have broken down. More attention needed for maintenance please.

Location of the property was excellent. If you are parking, PARK in the north zone. You can take a direct lift to the hotel or transit from the mall to the hotel at Level G near the north lift lobby. There is a carwash nearby, really convenient, right in front of the north escalator lobby. The rooms are clean, although the water pressure could use some work, other than that, no complaints. The shower area has no shower door (glass, curtains, etc), so just remember to put the floor rags accordingly.

Received a surprise slice of cake as it was my birthday. Fantastic location within a huge mall with cinema. New and well maintained gym equipment. Swimming Pool at 28th floor with great view of surrounding area. Clean and spacious room. They provided a sterilised jug to fill up water at water dispensers located at both end of the corridor. Great wide range of breakfast spread. Friendly and helpful staff from doormen, concierge, housekeeping, reception, F&B and security staffs. A memorable and pleasant stay.

3D2N stay at St Giles was initially very pleasant. Friendly and warm receptionist helped with our check in. Room was clean & neat. Except following 2 hiccups : In the middle of 1st nite on 2'Jun, there was a power failure at entire Level 23 for about 1 hour from 2.20am to 3.20am. No aircond, no light and the room was stuffy and I experienced difficulty in breathing. Called the front desk to inform & was told they knew about the incident. On the 2nd day after the room cleaning, found the 2 smaller towels folded underneath the basin were still wet and stink! I suspect the cleaner never changed to a clean towels, simply put back the older ones which was still wet and dirty. These 2 unpleasant setbacks will have deprioritised my 1st choice of stay in St Giles for subsequent JB trips.

Generally okay and convenient cos next to mall. More modern compared to some other hotels. But the cleanliness in room and causeway cafe can be improved. Minibar top had stains. Sink also had stains Toilet seat was rough. And the floor towel had old stains. Toilet had musky smell.

Staff are very friendly, nice & helpful. However, cleaning of shower area can be improved. The grouts are dirty & moldy. Could smell the mold when we used the shower.

The convenience is probably the only reason to stay here. The towels were stained and will be good to bring own towels. The toilets had basic amenities and were not as clean with stains on the walls and floor. Breakfast was disorganised and due to the crowd, food was not replenished in time. Would probably stay next time only if there is a need to stay at a hotel with connecting mall.

The hotel was near to Mid Valley SouthkEy Shopping Mall. other than that, nothing else. In fact, the cleanliness of the hotel as compared to the initial stage of their opening had a difference now. It isn’t as clean anymore. It also isn’t well maintained. The service of the hotel staff if can be rated, majority of them should be rated a 2/10. If you can wait for 5 hours just to receive an additional towel or bucket of ice, this is the hotel for you. Also, don’t bother calling the reception hotline, as we held onto the phone for more than 30 minutes but no one picks up the call, regardless the time of the day. We even have to resort going down to the reception area for help. Paid for an extra bed but they delivered a baby cot! Otherwise, if self service is possible, it is the best. The only saving grace is Ms Nurul from the hotel guest services front desk. She has been helpful.

Super convenient location. Room is spacious and bed is comfortable. However, cleanliness and condition of the room can be further improved. Towels have a musty odor and there was a ponding issue in the shower area. We gave feedback to front desk to help repair but our request was forgotten. Staff cleared our used towels and floor mat but forgot to give us replacements as well.

The hotel is located next to/above MidValley Southkey Mall which is huge. So food and shopping, services, is just downstairs. The hotel itself is clean and well maintained. Bathroom features and amenities are clean and well provided. Wifi is a bit slow although the connection is strong.

It is a nice place but I think the service can improve. I stay at the 17 floor facing the small river. It is a beautiful scenery to view. As most of the pple who are coming from sg, I think the sound proofing can be improved.

Overall stay was good except that the room air-condition is not as cold. The room temperature was set to 19 deg C but the room was very stuffy and warm. Did not manage to get a good night slee😓.

It was a nice stay, overall it is value for money. At first glance the room is spacious and clean. The space is well lit, there is even a mirror in front of the table, so that basically serves as a dressing table + work desk. The room does not provide water, but a sanitised flask that you can fill water with at the corridor (+1 for eco-friendliness if you are into that). That said, there are some signs of some wear and tear - scratches/scuff marks on side tables, brown grime on the shampoo/soap bottles, ceiling wallpaper starting to peel, small dye stains (?) on the pillowcase and bedsheet (i.e. the sheets were not completely white - we did not alert housekeeping as we didn't think it was a major cause for concern). Late night we noticed mosquitos in the room and I was getting bites. Called room service for insect repellent/mosquito patch if they had one, but the housekeeping attendant arrived with a room spray (I read the bottle label). He didn't seem to understand what I needed but insisted that it's what I asked for. Gave it a few spritz anyway LOL and he took the bottle back Walls are thin. Could hear other guests kids screaming and shouting in the hallway early morning. Lobby was crowded during check-in and check-out. There was some waiting during check-in but check-out was very smooth. I found the front desk staff to be very helpful and prompt. Would recommend and return but prolly bring mosquito patches and request for quiet room haha :)

Spacious for a King room. Overlooking greenery, beautiful view. Needs to pay attention to maintenance to little details but overall clean and convenient as mall is attached. It took abot 15 minutes by Grab from JB Sentral.

A great place for family since its attached to the mall. Something for everyone. Also not too far from the central jb area. Room is also clean and comfortable. Although i think the pillows can be better quality like offering a firm and a soft. Will return.

I recently visited St. Giles Southkey and would like to provide feedback on breakfast and housekeeping. The breakfast spread is good, with a wide variety maintained even during busy periods. We were given the room earlier than the normal check in time and was very pleased that the room was a good size one and was very clean. Having breakfast at the cafe was not so pleasant as it was crowded and noisy. But I must say that staff are very quick to clear your used plates and get the table ready for other customers. Will definitely stay at this hotel in the near future.

Room was clean, check-in and out was quick and direct connection to the mall. We saw king bed in the description of the twin room but when we were checking-in the counter staff told us we've booked twin bed but we couldn't as we have a baby who we needed to have sleep in between. The staff very kindly help us arrange.

1) Overall poor and bad services rendered from staff from reception, breakfast dining, housekeeping dept. 2) Called the reception from room around 10 in the night and no pickup at all for about 20mins with 3 or more tries. 3) Called the housekeeping too for about 20 mins and same no pickup. 4) Even after 20 mins of calls to both the reception and housekeeping, the mail box is full, thus unable to even leave a voice message. 5) Have to walk down from room to reception to pass some toileties request personally which was not attended to despite calling the reception and housekeeping. 6) The staff stationed at the Causeway Bay Cafe was not attending /helpful to guests at all. 7) We have to find our own table and get them to clear the tables as well as to give us cutlery. 8) At the buffet tables, the lack of plates, bowls and some food were not replenish that make the whole food selection even more frustrating. 9) A group of 7-8 staffs were standing near the kitchen, talking and doing nothing to assist the guests. 10) Guests have to source for your own plates and bowls accordingly. 11) Was given complimentary welcome to the Grill Bar located on 28th floor, but no specific instructions provided. Went up around 9pm ， thinking of redeeming the drinks and was told by the guard that this complimentary drinks is only valid from 12pm to 7pm. 12) There was no printed nor verbal instructions, indicating the redemption is for specific hours only. Poor communications.

Yes. The front desk at arrival did a magnificent job by arranging for connecting rooms for our family. However, while checking out, our family had unexpectedly felt unwell and we requested the customer service for extension. We were only given half an hour grace instead of an hour. While i asked for her name, we were rudely told its FO, then Puteri. I thought its rude to assume guests know your acronym and it was clear we asked for name. While i understand the hotel can be fully booked but we had our circumstances. Hope the hotel can train the staff to show compassion and grace when situation arose.

The hotel's prime location, directly linked to Southkey Mall, makes it a shopper's paradise. The ease of access to a variety of dining options.The room is very clean& quiet. The only issues were the breakfast every morning, not sufficient staffs to filled up the foods . Coffees machine down and alway don't have enough cups , bowls or plates. Also very long queue.

Good location beside shopping mall. Front desk, bellmen excellent service. Breakfast is unfortunately average. The counter guy that cooks the egg omelets can be a little more friendlier in his replies when I ask for omelets (while I was struggling to get the correct magic word for him) haha. Cleanliness of the room is average too. Housekeeper actually left a used robe back on the safe (while we left it in the sink to be replaced with a fresh one). Servers at bar were friendly and helpful. Overall, the experience was still ok. Please encourage the team to keep up their good work. I am certain they are working incredibly hard during this holiday period.

Well located connected to.mid valley mall. Excellent location . Easy ample parking. Rooms are not so well maintained considering hotel opened in 2022. .only 4 years old but rooms look like much older hotel. Tiles are stained , skirting around the room looks dusty and dry..doesn't give that well mauntained feel . Tyr water boilet was yellow below. Need to be throughly cleaned with citric acid. Didnt dare use it. The water decanter supplied cover was yellow, had a bad smell and looked dirty inside.the shower bottle shampoo,, body soap need a good wash can see some mould growing around the neck of the bottle. Detailing is important to run a hotel. Next the breakfast was nothing spectacular. The nasi lemak was a let down. The rice was hard, dry,no coconut lemak flavour. Tasted like white rice. The noodle was over cooked. Surely any mak chik can. Cook better Such an important dish for both malaysian and Singaporean. Should really review the recipe and improve on it totally. To have ustomers enjoy their stay a detailed operation person in operation management should go aroud n check rooms tasted the food each day to ensure highest quality.

We found the room had not been properly cleaned, including a used tissue left on the table. When we requested two blankets, we were told only one is provided as standard. In addition, the bedsheet and quilt felt damp, and the toilet door does not open fully — it blocks off almost half the toilet area, making the space cramped and difficult to move around in.
