We stayed here for 3 days on our honeymoon. The room was great as was the location to Seminyak. The pool was beautiful and relaxing and had great views of the ocean and the live music by the bar at night was great. The atmosphere was really lively, but not too loud/crowded that you couldn’t relax.

However, the spa was overpriced compared to luxury spas outside the hotel. Alila is absolutely stunning! This was my second time staying within 2 months and I just can’t get enough! We were greeted by Yeni again at check in which she was so sweet and we were even surprised with a room upgrade!! The room was absolutely stunning with a gorgeous view of the serenity pool and ocean! The food is amazing at all times and room service is 24 hours! We went to the Beach Bar after their kitchen closed and they still accommodated to us and made sure we had some dinner. There’s a buggy to transport you to and from the lobby to the street, possibly even to Seminyak Square. Housekeeping is twice a day and they're soo fast. Overall the amenities and staff are all amazing. I'll forever be staying at Alila when I visit Bali.

I booked an ocean view room for 2 nights, but it was not the ocean view room in the photo I booked. I arrived late at night, got assigned to a room, and entered the room. It was not the room in the picture, it was a pool view, and you had to go out to the end of the balcony to see about 20% of the beach. When I inquired at the reception, they said that the room I was assigned was an ocean view room with the same price, and that the room in the photo could be returned at check-in time if there was an empty room after leaving my luggage the next day. After breakfast, I went down with my luggage. They said the room was ready and they reassigned me to a room on the 3rd floor. The room I was reassigned did not smell damp compared to the room the previous day, and it was the ocean view in the photo.

Such a beautiful hotel. We were lucky enough to stay in an oceanview room and it was even better than expected. I would say it’s worth the money to try at least once when you visit Bali or if you have a special event to celebrate. Everything was stunning. The buffet breakfast was the best I’ve ever had, also worth the money. Next door to some of the most popular beach clubs, although you won’t even want to leave because Alila’s pools are even better. Lots to do nearby including food and shopping.

The staff was very friendly, however make sure you do not get stuck at the 3rd building closest to the street like we did. We could not sleep due to the amount of street noise, especially the homes next to us that had roosters, chickens, birds etc that would make noises at all times. There is a “bridge” you have to take to get to the main hotel where the restaurant and pools are which was very inconvenient. Overall I liked the staff, as they were nothing but friendly but the 3rd building location is terrible. Especially to spend your honeymoon in.

For me the hotel became a sanctuary of tranquility and healing. I couldn’t have asked for better. It is literally steps away from Seminyak’s busy streets, shopping, cafes, and restaurants and yet you wouldn’t know it inside the grounds. The breakfasts and coffee were amazing with a wide range of à la carte options. The open-air reception, three stunning pools, and beach bar with live music created a perfect balance of relaxation and lively atmosphere. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a highlight—delicious food, amazing cocktails and the sunset at night was just beautiful. We met a couple who return every year, and they shared how the staff remember them and their daughter by name. That kind of personal touch speaks volumes. Alila Seminyak isn’t just a hotel—it’s a rare gem. We will be back!

Initially as the hotel were busy we were out in a room in an over capacity block, that simply wasn’t very nice. It smelled, was very noisy as near the staff entrance, and was a long way from the main part of the hotel. We asked to be moved and were offered a sea view room at a low upgrade costs. This room was really amazing! Fantastic view, beautiful facilities and quiet. The hotel itself was very nice. The most amazing breakfast offering, great selection of pools, good food, great staff and good location. Would highly recommend, just make sure you get a sea view room!

Great and attentive staff member. Most, if not all of our room service requests were completed within five minutes or less. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The overall property is okay to good. The bar / pool area is nice with a great view of the ocean. The room seems dated and dark. The lobby area is a bit dark too, could open it up a bit so one will feel like you are in an oceanfront property. Overall, it is a great value for the price. Foods were good to great as well - a very positive experience.

Beautiful property in a great location. Checkin was slow and I had asked for it to be setup for our 15th Anniversary, which was forgotten. The staff are all very friendly and attentive and provide great service. The pools are devine and all look aver the beach. However, they close them very early and there is no swimming at all after 7pm. This is very odd for a luxury hotel in a hot climate. Most other hotels we have stayed at have the pools open til 9pm, especially around the bar area. It is secluded and private, but that means its a fair walk to shops and dining. But, we wanted a luxury stay away from the hustle and bustle. We will definitely be back.

An excellent stay, service was fabulous and the whole experience was perfect. They went above & beyond to help us with our missing baggage which was even their responsibility but they contacted the Hyatt representative at the airport and got it tracked and brought to us and made sure we had everything that we needed in the meantime. It was our first time staying at Alila Seminyak. The lobby was very impressive and it has a lovely view of the pool and the beach. The room was very spacious and clean. We love the spacious double sink in the bathroom. And the bed was super big, can even sleep 3 persons. The location is good. We could walk to a few restaurants for our dinner.

Wonderful oceanfront paradise. Excellent bedding & decor - very new. Wonderful pools , bars and the best restaurant that we ate at in Bali was in this hotel ! It is right next door to potato head for variety & walkability. The staff was so sweet and gave excellent service . We highly recommend this hotel and recommend the corner beach suite - it is to die for !!!!.

Great location Beach view rooms are perfect with bi-fold doors that open your room right up. Choice of 3 pools (2 of which are no kids, so for quiet dip or stay these are perfect) . Cute flying squirrels in the palm trees, nice cocktail list and 24 hour room service. Pool temperature spot on and very refreshing , infinity edge great Service at the pool is phenomenal they are on you and fixing the chairs straight away. Really great service Sea salt restaurant ok. Not amazing but there are so many restaurants around easy walking distance it doesn’t really matter. Breakfast buffet ok. Does the job Try to get the rooms in the main hotel not the ones down the lane way the ambience is totally different in those ones. Main hotel room much better Spa very nice , went twice . Ask for BALIK she’s amazing !
