Lis was a great hostess. She speaks English beautifully. Very attentive and helpful. They served both a cooked breakfast and a box breakfast for when you leave early. The rooftop terrace has the kitchen. You have a view of 2 ruin sites from up there. It was a great place.

This was an adorable, simple bed and breakfast. The manager was incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were simple but nice. Breakfast with a beautiful view offered every morning on the rooftop. Great location.

This is a great hotel in a great location. You can see the ruins from your balcony and the rooftop patio is a fun place to have breakfast in the morning and to read in the afternoon. If staying in Ollantaytambo you really should look into staying at Kamma House.

The owners are wonderful.. breakfast is excellent and beautiful sitting on the terrace and viewing the ruins.. All our needs from luggage, arrival, comfortable beds, house keeping , recommendations ,transportation were all stress free.. great location.. lovely space..

I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere other than at this beautiful guesthouse. Loved my room and opening the doors onto my little balcony to an incredible vista of Inca ruins. Even the views from the rooftop terrace and dining area were breath-taking. Take the time to read some of the wonderful books on display in the lobby lounge area. Did I mention the breakfast? Delicious. I look forward to when I can stay again. 💜👌

We stayed 3 nights in Ollantaytambo and enjoyed very much our stay at Kamma Guest House. Liz greeted us at the front desk and immediately gave us all the information we would need to know about the town. In the morning we enjoyed breakfast (fresh eggs, fruit with granola, local bread) on the rooftop dining area with the spectacular and breathtaking views of the Ollantaytambo ruins. Breakfast was delicious and a relaxing start to long days of sightseeing. Location is excellent. Steps to the town square and markets and short 15 minute walk to the train station. Liz was very accommodating and wonderful. Highly recommend!!!

They were fantastic, great views from the hotel at the roof top especially at night you can see the stars clear. Felt safe, staff was great, over all a great experience!

What a find in Ollantaytambo! Away from the noise of the main plaza, with nice rooms and an amazing rooftop patio (where the included breakfast is served every day). Rooms are comfortable, with good hot water and clean throughout. The best thing are the hosts - they are very personable and ensure your stay is great. They have essentials (like bottled water) at store prices. All in all, we would definitely recommend Kamma as the place to stay in Ollantaytambo.

I had a wonder stay at Kamma guest house. Liz, the owner, has been very responsive and helpful from the very beginning. The property is very clean, quiet. The rooftop view is very beautiful. Liz provided a lot of useful information about the local attractions, dining venues and drug stores. Highly recommended.

What a great stay! The hostess made us feel like a family! Two of their friendly dogs are the bonus! Great location, just off the bastle and hustle of this small but sometimes busy town! Comfy beds, clean rooms, hot shower, tasty breakfast! Thank you!!!

Amazing views of the ruins. Staff was very friendly and super helpful. Beds were comfy as well. Breakfast more than adequate, and prepared on the spot for you. Close to the downtown area and the ruins.

Kamma guest house was wonderful- comfortable room and beds and good bathroom with good water pressure. 3 min walk from Plaza Mayor. Excellent T hot breakfast with fresh-squeezed OJ and a beautiful view or Incan spots. Liz is welcoming and accommodating and so helpful finding a bank (none in Ollantay- need to go to Urumbamba). Liz and her partner will handle your laundry on request. Do NOT bring large rolling suitcases that you cannot carry to Ollantay as roads are all cobblestone. What a lovely town with lots of great hiking and walking and lovely, warm people.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kamma guest house. The guest house itself is not far from the main square (but cars can’t access it directly so you have to carry your luggage a couple of small blocks; this was not a problem for us as we had packed light). Since the guest house is in the old town, the rooms were on the smaller side but very well appointed (with a safe, hairdryer, clean towels and soap/shampoo), I loved the little balcony that we had. The rooftop is amazing with a beautiful view of town and the mountains. But the best part was Liz, the owner. She is a true gem, so helpful, especially as some of us got hit by altitude sickness.

Liz and her staff were friendly, resourceful and always somehow there and available. Beds and linens were perfect and with the sound of the rushing water in the aqueducts it sounded like you were beside a babbling brook! Highly recommended. Excellent breakfasts were included.

Kamma Guest House was top on my list of places I stayed in Peru. The rooms are cozy, the beds are firm and comfy, the showers are hot with good pressure and it’s peaceful. Despite being close to the canal, the sound of the water was actually pretty relaxing. Having a delicious breakfast at the terrace with a view of Ollantaytambo was amazing. Above all, the hospitality was exceptional. Liz made our stay truly memorable.
Kamma Guest House was top on my list of places I stayed in Peru. The rooms are cozy, the beds are firm and comfy, the showers are hot with good pressure and it’s peaceful. My husband and I visited for 3 nights the hotel is a short walk from the Main Street and very close to the main plaza with multiple choices of restaurants, very close to the train station. The hotel is very charming the rooms are a bit small but perfect since we were out most of the day. Liz and Pao were such amazing hosts always available and very kind giving us tips when we asked. They packed each one of us a lunch box when we left to the Machu Pichu at 5:30 AM which was great start to our adventure. I will highly recommend this hotel.

It is called 'Home from Home' and it really was. Liz was excellent and could not have been more helpful. She helped us arrange all our trips and the hotel itself was central. We cannot recommend it enough. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The property owner was very nice and accomadating. We were late because of flight cancels but she was awake until midnight we come and made sure we checked in. The breakfast is excellent, authentic and fresh. Loved our entire stay. Cant say enough good things about this place. Their 2 dogs negrito and chicho greet everyone.

The breakfast is excellent, authentic and fresh. Loved our entire stay. Cant say enough good things about this place. Their 2 dogs negrito and chicho greet everyone.

The owners are wonderful.. breakfast is excellent and beautiful sitting on the terrace and viewing the ruins.. All our needs from luggage, arrival, comfortable beds, house keeping , recommendations ,transportation were all stress free.. great location.. lovely space..

Bonne adresse dans la très agréable petite ville d'Ollantaytambo. Très bien situé proche de la place principale. Bon accueil et beaucoup de conseils de la part de la propriétaire. Petit déjeuner avec vue sur la terrasse. Peut-être un petit peu cher pour l'endroit.

We stayed 3 nights in Ollantaytambo and enjoyed very much our stay at Kamma Guest House. Liz greeted us at the front desk and immediately gave us all the information we would need to know about the town. In the morning we enjoyed breakfast (fresh eggs, fruit with granola, local bread) on the rooftop dining area with the spectacular and breathtaking views of the Ollantaytambo ruins. Breakfast was delicious and a relaxing start to long days of sightseeing. Location is excellent. Steps to the town square and markets and short 15 minute walk to the train station. Liz was very accommodating and wonderful. Highly recommend!!!

This was my second time staying with Liz and Paola, and it was even better the second time around. We stayed in the family room on the first floor, the beds are very comfortable and a great place to rest after exploring Ollantaytambo or trips to Machu Picchu/elsewhere in the Sacred Valley. Liz and Paola are wonderful to simply chat with and also offer a map of Ollantaytambo upon checkin with details of how to access the Ollantaytambo ruins, Pinkuylluna (whose entrance is right across from the front door), the lesser-visited Qelloraqay ruins, and how to access the train station. If you have an early train to Machu Picchu, they will leave you with a lovely to-go bag for breakfast consisting of bread with cheese, juice, fruit, and wafers. The breakfast that is served from 7-9 on the terrace, however, is incredible. Fresh fruit with Andean granola, yogurt, coffee or tea, fresh squeezed juice, bread with jam and butter, and eggs. The views of the Ollantaytambo ruins while you're eating are pretty magical. Overall, a wonderful second time for us staying at Kamma. Highly recommend staying with Paola and Liz if you get the chance. Looking forward to a third visit in the future!

My husband and I visited for 3 nights the hotel is a short walk from the Main Street and very close to the main plaza with multiple choices of restaurants, very close to the train station. The hotel is very charming the rooms are a bit small but perfect since we were out most of the day. Liz and Pao were such amazing hosts always available and very kind giving us tips when we asked. They packed each one of us a lunch box when we left to the Machu Pichu at 5:30 AM which was great start to our adventure. I will highly recommend this hotel.

Kamma guest house was wonderful- comfortable room and beds and good bathroom with good water pressure. 3 min walk from Plaza Mayor. Excellent T hot breakfast with fresh-squeezed OJ and a beautiful view or Incan spots. Liz is welcoming and accommodating and so helpful finding a bank (none in Ollantay- need to go to Urumbamba). Liz and her partner will handle your laundry on request. Do NOT bring large rolling suitcases that you cannot carry to Ollantay as roads are all cobblestone. What a lovely town with lots of great hiking and walking and lovely, warm people.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kamma guest house. The guest house itself is not far from the main square (but cars can’t access it directly so you have to carry your luggage a couple of small blocks; this was not a problem for us as we had packed light). Since the guest house is in the old town, the rooms were on the smaller side but very well appointed (with a safe, hairdryer, clean towels and soap/shampoo), I loved the little balcony that we had. The rooftop is amazing with a beautiful view of town and the mountains. But the best part was Liz, the owner. She is a true gem, so helpful, especially as some of us got hit by altitude sickness.

Hotel simples porém muito aconchegante. Possui funcionários muito atenciosos que te deixam à vontade como se estivesse na sua casa. Dão dicas ótimas sobre o lugar. No terraço onde tomamos café da manhã tem uma vista excelente do Templo do sol. Não passa carro nem tuk tuk na porta do hotel, porém é muito próximo da praça e os funcionários te buscam na praça se for preciso. Como é um local onde se vai de mochila não há problemas nem necessidade de carro.
Hotel simples porém muito aconchegante. Possui funcionários muito atenciosos que te deixam à vontade como se estivesse na sua casa. Dão dicas ótimas sobre o lugar. No terraço onde tomamos café da manhã tem uma vista excelente do Templo do sol. Da vi ankom ble vi tatt veldig godt i mot og fikk gode anbefalinger for aktiviteter og spisesteder. Beliggenheten er perfekt i en litt stille gate, men bare to minutter å gå til hovedtorget og kort vei til ruinene (rett utenfor døren er veien opp til noen mindre ruiner man burde besøke!). Frokosten var god og med flott utsikt. Vi ville bodd her igjen!

What a find in Ollantaytambo! Away from the noise of the main plaza, with nice rooms and an amazing rooftop patio (where the included breakfast is served every day). Rooms are comfortable, with good hot water and clean throughout. The best thing are the hosts - they are very personable and ensure your stay is great. They have essentials (like bottled water) at store prices. All in all, we would definitely recommend Kamma as the place to stay in Ollantaytambo.

Lis was a great hostess. She speaks English beautifully. Very attentive and helpful. They served both a cooked breakfast and a box breakfast for when you leave early. The rooftop terrace has the kitchen. You have a view of 2 ruin sites from up there. It was a great place.

This is a great hotel in a great location. You can see the ruins from your balcony and the rooftop patio is a fun place to have breakfast in the morning and to read in the afternoon. If staying in Ollantaytambo you really should look into staying at Kamma House.

Excellent. The hosts were friendly professionals and pay attention to details. The breakfast was way above average with French pressed coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice on the roof terrace. I highly recommend this lodge.

This is a great place to rest up for Machu Pichu. The accommodations are nice and the breakfast is a nice perk! The views of the archeological sights are amazing, but the best part is the service and friendliness of the owner. Top notch!!!!!

We had an excellent stay at Kamma Guesthouse. Liz was incredibly helpful and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was lovely and a perfect start to the day. The location is excellent, just a minute’s walk from the main square, making it ideal for exploring Ollantaytambo. The beds were very comfortable, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and there was always plenty of hot water after a long day out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Kamma Guesthouse to anyone visiting Ollantaytambo. We would happily stay here again! 😊

We had a great stay here. The room was quiet and comfortable, the staff were kind and breakfast was served on a brilliant roof terrace. Great base to explore the town and surrounding area - wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!
We had a great stay here. The room was quiet and comfortable, the staff were kind and breakfast was served on a brilliant roof terrace. Great base to explore the town and surrounding area - wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!
