When I checked into this hotel and entered my room, I found that the large glass panel of the balcony door was completely shattered into small pieces. I do not know the cause. Of course, I immediately called the hotel management to report the issue. After waiting for a considerable amount of time, I was told at around 7:00 PM that I had two options: either receive a 100% refund and cancel the booking, or stay in the room as it was. Because the situation was clearly dangerous, I requested a room change. However, I was told that there were no spare rooms available and that if I was not satisfied, I should cancel. This was communicated to me by a operater. I understand that she was likely following instructions from her superior, so I do not believe this was her personal decision. I then asked whether I could receive a discount instead. I was told that a 30% discount would be provided, although it would take some time for the credit to be processed. To be honest, I would have preferred a room change rather than a 30% discount. I have photos and videos documenting the condition of the room. Please let me know how I can send them to your office, or kindly provide the appropriate email address. In any case, I would like to request the 30% refund as discussed. You may contact at your company for confirmation of the details.

No furniture on balcony. No soap in shower. There were extra pillows but they didnt have pillow cases. There was an iron but no ironing board. Check in process was too rigid.

Unsatisafactory stay. I was disappointed that FV had removed car parking for guests, however, the car park entry was always crowded and problematic. Was a quick 2-3 min walk to offset parking in Agnes St (though metered parking). Check in was via the convenience shop across the road - strange, but easy. Apartment was good in size - kitchen had very limited tablewear and crockery. Only provided with x 3 very flat pillows (requested additional though not provided). There was no seating or table available on the winter balcony which was disappointing. Bedroom had no bed side lamps and TV located in loungeroom only. The underside and rim of the coffee table had not been cleaned in a long time - there was a lot of mould evident. The bathroom and laundy were dusty and attention to detail needed on the shower recess and edges - filthy. No information was provided re amentities (had to look up) and WIFI complex and poor.

Apartment was filthy - dirty walks, carpet, broken fixtures. Stale smell. After complaining on the day 1 it was only late on day 2 that the call centre/ reception had the manager with authority offer to clean the apartment or provide a minor 10% discount. As we were leaving early the next day we accepted the discount via Expedia, although they were not able to achieve the full discount despite seeing the manager’s offer in writing.

Apartment was very clean however there was a certain smell in the apartment that wouldn’t go away.. Aircon did not work at all which is a let down seeing as it’s very hot in Brisbane. But the experience, views and amenities are good.
