This is an incredible property! Everything is top notch and absolutely beautifully appointed. There has been no detail overlooked to make your stay perfect! Everyone working there was friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. Make sure you eat your meals there. The food is top notch and the evenings are magical.

Honestly one of the best hotel stays of my life. Cristiano, the owner, has curated most wonderful oasis at Bosque. From the decor, to the staff and service, the immaculate grounds, and don’t get me started on the food - every experience and encounter was 10/10. Book it. You won’t regret it. It truly felt like home.

There is only good things to say about this hotel. My wife and I spent 3 nights of our trip here and it was hands down the best part of our Portugal trip. We ordered the dinner at the hotel every night and it was very delicious,the service was so good we felt like we were dining at a high level restaurant. The breakfast was also very delicious every morning. The owners are always smiling, always around to help you with whatever you need. The hotel is so nice,cozy,quiet and romantic! The hotel dog Becas is very well behaved and he loves being pet. We enjoyed our stay very much and we would love to come back and stay at the same place again.

Everything about Quinta do Bosque is exceptional — from the warm reception when we arrived to the stunning views of the Douro Valley mountains from the pool. The property is set in a peaceful, secluded spot away from the busier tourist areas, making it the perfect place to unwind. Getting there takes a little patience (the roads are narrow and winding), but it’s absolutely worth it once you arrive. The staff are wonderful — friendly, welcoming, and always eager to make your stay special. The rooms and amenities are top-notch, far exceeding our expectations. Breakfasts are delicious and generous, with plenty of variety. We dined at the on-site restaurant both evenings and were blown away by the quality and creativity of the menu — and the wine selection was excellent too. I celebrated my birthday during our stay, and the kitchen surprised me with a beautiful (and very tasty!) cake. We truly didn’t want to leave. If you’re looking for a restful and luxurious escape in the heart of the Douro Valley, I can’t recommend Quinta do Bosque highly enough. We’re already planning our return! 🌸

This was literal heaven. Warm, attentive service, spectacular views, comfortable rooms (even with room darkening electric shades), incredible food, and not a thing overlooked with the tiniest attention to detail that makes this place perfect. They even sock a fridge with wines and beers and offer snacks / tapas during the day if you feel like lounging by the pool and never leaving. They offer a set course dinner which changes nightly as well and the breakfast was so great you really should just park here for days at a time.

Esta é minha segunda estada na Quinta, e você não tem vontade de ir embora. Cristiano e Maria são gentis demais e foi como estar em casa com todo o conforto e comodidade possíveis. A Quinta é linda, mágica, tudo é muito limpo e organizado, super confortável, o café da manhã é excepcional, tudo é perfeito e belo. Vou voltar com certeza, porque é maravilhoso e fantástico.
Esta é minha segunda estada na Quinta, e você não tem vontade de ir embora. Cristiano e Maria são gentis demais e foi como estar em casa com todo o conforto e comodidade possíveis. Un incroyable séjour. Un hôte fantastique et une équipe dévouée. Tout était parfait : petit déjeuner copieux, propreté, décoration, souper 4 services exquis… Bref, tout était excellent. A recommander! Nous y avons séjourné 4 jours et on y serait plus longtemps. Un site enchanteur…

A experiência foi maravilhosa! Vimos cuidado e atenção nos mínimos detalhes na nossa estadia, minha esposa ficou encantada. Quarto grande e limpo, refeições disponíveis no jantar são impecáveis, e o café da manhã muito farto. Simplesmente um dos melhores lugares que já ficamos! O capricho e cuidado em cada detalhe é perceptível deixando tudo impecável! São apenas 5 quartos então a pousada é muito tranquila, intimista e aconchegante…!Acredito que muitos hotéis 5 estrelas não tem o atendimento tão atencioso que eles proporcionam…! Tudo que comemos la, tanto no café da manhã quanto no jantar estava muito bom, comida deliciosa, fresca e muito bem servida! Ficamos na suíte de nome “Rica” e o quarto é incrível…a cama te abraça e não da vontade nem de sair do quarto rsrs! Realmente Tudo maravilhoso! Com certeza voltaremos um dia!

Nous avons passé un moment absolument merveilleux à la Quinta. Les hôtes sont très gentils et hyper accueillants. Les chambres sont spacieuses et magnifiquement décorées. L’endroit avec la vue est superbe. La Quinta fait un petit déjeuner absolument extraordinaire et ils proposent aussi un dinner le soir si vous le souhaitez. Il y a plein de petits services annexe qui font que vous vous sentez comme à la maison. Pour nous, c’est au-delà d’un 10/10 ! Nous avons rarement vu un tel niveau sur tous les sujets. Nous avons passé un moment absolument merveilleux à la Quinta. Les hôtes sont très gentils et hyper accueillants. Les chambres sont spacieuses et magnifiquement décorées. L’endroit avec la vue est superbe. La Quinta fait un petit déjeuner absolument extraordinaire et ils proposent aussi un dinner le soir si vous le souhaitez. Il y a plein de petits services annexe qui font que vous vous sentez comme à la maison. Pour nous, c’est au-delà d’un 10/10 ! Nous avons rarement vu un tel niveau sur tous les sujets. Nous avons vraiment hâte d’y revenir !

Our stay was absolutely incredible, and I cannot stress enough how much I recommend this hotel. The service and on site cooking were both exceptional. The rooms were exquisite with deep personal touches and elegant stylization. The pricing was very reasonable and offers incredible value for the money. We had the most amazing stay at Quinta do Bosque. The staff are warm, friendly and helpful. The photos do not do the location, view or accommodations justice. It is more beautiful. The food is fantastic. The best breakfasts we've had at a hotel, and one of the best dinners ever. Even Becas, the dog, was adorable and added to our stay. Thank you Quinta staff for an amazing experience.

This was literal heaven. Warm, attentive service, spectacular views, comfortable rooms (even with room darkening electric shades), incredible food, and not a thing overlooked with the tiniest attention to detail that makes this place perfect. They even sock a fridge with wines and beers and offer snacks / tapas during the day if you feel like lounging by the pool and never leaving. They offer a set course dinner which changes nightly as well and the breakfast was so great you really should just park here for days at a time.

Simplesmente um dos melhores lugares que já ficamos! O capricho e cuidado em cada detalhe é perceptível deixando tudo impecável! São apenas 5 quartos então a pousada é muito tranquila, intimista e aconchegante…!Acredito que muitos hotéis 5 estrelas não tem o atendimento tão atencioso que eles proporcionam…! Tudo que comemos la, tanto no café da manhã quanto no jantar estava muito bom, comida deliciosa, fresca e muito bem servida! Honestly one of the best hotel stays of my life. Cristiano, the owner, has curated most wonderful oasis at Bosque. From the decor, to the staff and service, the immaculate grounds, and don’t get me started on the food - every experience and encounter was 10/10. Book it. You won’t regret it. It truly felt like home.

There is only good things to say about this hotel. My wife and I spent 3 nights of our trip here and it was hands down the best part of our Portugal trip. We ordered the dinner at the hotel every night and it was very delicious,the service was so good we felt like we were dining at a high level restaurant. The breakfast was also very delicious every morning. The owners are always smiling, always around to help you with whatever you need. The hotel is so nice,cozy,quiet and romantic! The hotel dog Becas is very well behaved and he loves being pet. We enjoyed our stay very much and we would love to come back and stay at the same place again.

Getting there takes a little patience (the roads are narrow and winding), but it’s absolutely worth it once you arrive. The staff are wonderful — friendly, welcoming, and always eager to make your stay special. The rooms and amenities are top-notch, far exceeding our expectations. Breakfasts are delicious and generous, with plenty of variety. We dined at the on-site restaurant both evenings and were blown away by the quality and creativity of the menu — and the wine selection was excellent too. I celebrated my birthday during our stay, and the kitchen surprised me with a beautiful (and very tasty!) cake. We truly didn’t want to leave. This is an incredible property! Everything is top notch and absolutely beautifully appointed. There has been no detail overlooked to make your stay perfect! A experiência foi maravilhosa! Vimos cuidado e atenção nos mínimos detalhes na nossa estadia, minha esposa ficou encantada. Everything about Quinta do Bosque is exceptional — from the warm reception when we arrived to the stunning views of the Douro Valley mountains from the pool. The property is set in a peaceful, secluded spot away from the busier tourist areas, making it the perfect place to unwind. Getting there takes a little patience (the roads are narrow and winding), but it’s absolutely worth it once you arrive. The staff are wonderful — friendly, welcoming, and always eager to make your stay special. The rooms and amenities are top-notch, far exceeding our expectations. Breakfasts are delicious and generous, with plenty of variety. We dined at the on-site restaurant both evenings and were blown away by the quality and creativity of the menu — and the wine selection was excellent too. I celebrated my birthday during our stay, and the kitchen surprised me with a beautiful (and very tasty!) cake. We truly didn’t want to leave. If you’re looking for a restful and luxurious escape in the heart of the Douro Valley, I can’t recommend Quinta do Bosque highly enough. We’re already planning our return! 🌸

This was an amazing stay! The hospitality was wonderful and the view was outstanding! We had breakfast and diner at the hotel each day and all the good was delicious. This Quinta is a destination on its own. Looking forward to coming back!

We had the most amazing stay at Quinta do Bosque. The staff are warm, friendly and helpful. The photos do not do the location, view or accommodations justice. It is more beautiful. The food is fantastic. The best breakfasts we've had at a hotel, and one of the best dinners ever. Even Becas, the dog, was adorable and added to our stay. Thank you Quinta staff for an amazing experience.

This was literal heaven. Warm, attentive service, spectacular views, comfortable rooms (even with room darkening electric shades), incredible food, and not a thing overlooked with the tiniest attention to detail that makes this place perfect. They even sock a fridge with wines and beers and offer snacks / tapas during the day if you feel like lounging by the pool and never leaving. They offer a set course dinner which changes nightly as well and the breakfast was so great you really should just park here for days at a time.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It is a tranquil, modern, beautifully designed and decorated 5 room Quinta with fantastic views over the valley. Our room was lovely with a large and extremely comfortable bed, walk in shower and a good sized balcony overlooking the pool area and the valley. The pool area was great with lots of options of comfy sun loungers, chairs and tables, plenty of room for all guests. We ate in each night where a different fixed menu is served each evening, often using home grown or locally sourced ingredients and consisting of appetisers, a starter, main course, dessert and a glass of port. Every meal was exceptional and really great value. We also drank a fair bit of the very reasonably priced local wine which were all excellent. There was also an extensive breakfast served every morning which included everything you could want, various types of eggs, meats, cheeses, breads, pancakes, waffles, cakes, fruits, yoghurt, jams and conserves etc. And finally, last but certainly not least, the people, including the owner Christian, were incredibly welcoming, friendly, helpful and efficient. They couldn't do enough for you. We loved every moment of our 3 nights here and wish we could have stayed for longer. Just to note it is a little tricky to find when you first arrive but if you use Waze (not Google as it takes you a weird way) and the GPS coordinates it is not a problem. Overall truly exceptional!!!!

O local é incrível, indescritível , voltamos de lá encantado com tudo. As funcionárias Maria João e Maria deixaram a estadia ainda mais encantadora!! O café da manhã é feito com todo carinho e cuidado individualmente para cada apartamento. A vista para as montanhas e vinhedos é linda!!! Simplesmente recomendo demais o local, voltamos com vontade de ficar!
