Habitaciones Alfieri - Mare - Costa Amalfitana

If you want to be able to get away from the crowds in Amalfi, this is a perfect place! It was a wonderful little walk to access the Amalfi amenities and gave us a place to retreat. The beach is minutes away and very quaint. All the restaurants in the little piazza were excellent and the little store with fruit and drinks was really appreciated. The hosts were very friendly, helpful with travel from the airport, attentive to our needs right away (even at odd hours and days), and made us feel right at home. It feels like it is a family who runs it. I’m not sure if it is, but the point is that it feels like they really care and invest in their guests having a great stay. The apartment is a little smaller than it looks online, but I think that is true of all places. It very easily accommodated three of us and was very comfortable. It would have been challenging to cook a full meal in the kitchen, but it was perfect for making coffee in the morning and storing leftovers to eat later. We loved our stay in the Amalfi coast and if I’m lucky enough to return, this is exactly where I would stay. We were easily able to navigate getting a bus or a ferry to everything we wanted to do and see. And it gave us enough privacy to enjoy time away from crowds. If you’re torn where to stay on an Amalfi coast vacation, this is an excellent choice!
