Loved the uniqueness of this botel also being a brewery. One staff member in particular was brilliant, but others wee also good. Food and beer were great, thoroughly recommend this place, would love to come back.

The Botel room was well appointed and comfortable. The view across the Danube to the city and the Bratislava Castle was outstanding. We arrived by bicycle and the manager ensured that we had a safe place to store the bikes. The only issue was that the ventilation system was not working. Staff at the Botel and the adjoining restaurant were friendly and proficient. The restaurant food was very tasty and set at a good price point.

Aussicht und Lage einmalig. Schiff und Zimmer sind jedoch abgegriffen. Teppich schmutzig/fleckig und mit Brandlöchern von Zigaretten. Im Flur stank es. Klimaanlage laut. Ungebügelte Bettwäsche. Dachterrasse trotz bestem Wetter geschlossen. Alles sehr lieblos

Location and view was GREAT. It is a pity that this hotel is in very poor managememt hands. Room and carpet was dirty, shower was clogged, etc. There was no hair dryer in the room and to make matters worst, I have not seen a receptionist nor any staff after I checked in till the time I checked out. I just left the room card at the recepetion when I left about 10:00am. Location was great but when we arrived about 21:00 pm, there was a concert going on in the area and we were not allowed to park the car in the nearby parking space, so we drove around till exactly 23:00 when the police opened up the parking lot. So, please check with hotel if there will be an event going on during your visit.

Das Botel ist aussergewöhnlich, ruhig, sauber und zentral gelgen. Leider wird seit ca. 3 Monaten kein Frühstück mehr angeboten, das gibt es dafür gleich gegenüber in der Albstadt. Die Bar und das Restaurant sind Montags geschlossen, dafür war es ruhig.

Die Lage des Botels ist durchaus einzigartig. Man kann das Schloss und die Sonnenuntergänge vom Balkon aus betrachten. Leider gab es keine Parkmöglichkeiten aufgrund eines Konzerts im angrenzenden Park. Desweiteren gab es kein Zimmerservice (selbst der Müll wurde über 3 Tage nicht abgeholt). Der Abschluss in der Duschkabine funktioniert nicht gut, sodass immer 2cm Wasser stehen bleibt. Die Badmöbel waren teilweise mit Klebeband repariert welches sich leider ablöste. Die Balkonmöbel müssten mal ordentlich gereinigt werden. Das Personal spricht nur sehr einfaches Englisch.

Fantastisch concept, vriendelijke service, zeer gunstige ligging met shopping faciliteiten en oude binnenstad van Bratislava binnen loop bereik. De aan boord gevestigde bierbrouwerij en het restaurant zijn van zeer goed niveau! We komen terug!

What a wonderful stay at the Botel Dunajský Pivovar! I arrived at the wrong entrance to the bar/ restaurant instead of the Botel reception, but they were still very accommodating and called the host who gave me a tour around the Botel and showed me to the room. The room was ideal right of the River with a beautiful view of the castle, its only a short walk to the UFO tower and bridges to link you to the other side. Lovely restaurants nearby and a great bar on the boat itself, which is separated and soundproofed to the Botel portion very cleverly done and it was an amazing stay, I would recommend it!

Breakfast was presented as an option, but upon arrival we were told that there was no breakfast at all. We had dinner in the hotel's restaurant told to close at 10pm. But we could not order a dessert at 9.30pm as they were closing. Danube is nice but very noisy due to flow. In the bedroom curtains are too small to entirely blind the window.

Sehr gute Lage. Die Zimmer mit Stadtblick haben einen tollen Block auf die Burg und das Plätschern der Donau auf dem Balkon ist sehr entspannend. Vom angeschlossenen Restaurant habe ich keine Geräusche gehört. Ich war 2 Nächte dort und das Zimmer wurde während des Aufenthalts nicht gereinigt. Für mich aus der Beschreibung nicht ersichtlich. Vom Personal habe ich beim Check In 5 Minuten jemand getroffen, ansonsten war die Rezeption unbesetzt zu den Zeiten, wo ich vorbeigekommen bin.

Die Bettbezüge waren komplett dreckig, der Teppich war sehr schmutzig, überall hingen Spinnenweben und Staubfäden, das Bad war komplett staubig. Die Betten sind komplett durchgelegen. Hinzu kommt, dass die Klimaanlage zwar eingeschaltet und laut ist, jedoch nicht kühlt. Bei knapp 30° draußen muss man also zwingend mit offener Tür schlafen. Das Fließgeräusch der Donau ist nicht gerade leise, war für uns aber nicht weiter störend, anders war es leider nicht aushaltbar. An der Rezeption sitzt nie jemand, bei Fragen und Wünschen muss man also ins ebenfalls auf dem Boot enthaltene Restaurant gehen und dort nachfragen. Wir waren vor der angegebenen Check-In Zeit da um unser Gepäck abzugeben, leider war auch hier die Tür verschlossen und niemand war in Sicht. Hier konnten wir ebenfalls über das Restaurant Hilfe bekommen. Zum Check-Out war auch niemand da, die Karten haben wir also einfach auf den Tresen gelegt. Der Blick auf die Stadt und die Donau entschädigt zwar etwas, jedoch würden wir trotzdem niemals wieder diese Unterkunft buchen!

Location was nice and that's about the only positive. There were mice in common areas, room was not clean with obvious cobwebs all over the walls and after we spent one night we realised the door didnt even lock properly so anything could have happened while we were asleep. Owner/manager completely disregarded all issues when we said we want to check out early and pointed us to hotels.com straight away with no further discussion. Only reason we managed to get the remainder of our stay that we didn't use refunded is the extremely helpful guy from hotels.com and the only nice person working for this "hotel" called Matej who we can't thank enough for his support.

La struttura in sé per sé moderna è bella.La camera bella peccato per le ragnatele, fare la doccia con le infradito e il copri materasso con dei buchi.Il personale inesistente o quasi.Nelle vicinanze c’è il centro a piedi e un centro commerciale .Ho messo una stella perché non potevo metterne zero

All’ esterno sembrava una bella struttura, invece la stanza era sporca, materasso rotto, due giorni con gli stessi asciugamani,non sono passati a fare le pulizie. Veramente un pessimo soggiorno. Da evitare per andarci a dormire

It was a real novelty to stay in a boat hotel. The room was clean with good facilities and a boat balcony with a lovely view of Bratislava. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negatives were that the room was quite hot and the area was a bit noisy.

Die Matratzen sind wirklich schlecht. Extrem hart. Ich habe sehr große Schwierigkeiten gehabt, zu liegen und bin mit heftigen Rückenschmerzen aufgewacht. Außerdem fehlen Möglichkeiten im Bad, Handtücher aufzuhängen.

Die Bettbezüge waren komplett dreckig, der Teppich war sehr schmutzig, überall hingen Spinnenweben und Staubfäden, das Bad war komplett staubig. Die Betten sind komplett durchgelegen. Hinzu kommt, dass die Klimaanlage zwar eingeschaltet und laut ist, jedoch nicht kühlt. Bei knapp 30° draußen muss man also zwingend mit offener Tür schlafen. Das Fließgeräusch der Donau ist nicht gerade leise, war für uns aber nicht weiter störend, anders war es leider nicht aushaltbar. An der Rezeption sitzt nie jemand, bei Fragen und Wünschen muss man also ins ebenfalls auf dem Boot enthaltene Restaurant gehen und dort nachfragen. Wir waren vor der angegebenen Check-In Zeit da um unser Gepäck abzugeben, leider war auch hier die Tür verschlossen und niemand war in Sicht. Hier konnten wir ebenfalls über das Restaurant Hilfe bekommen. Zum Check-Out war auch niemand da, die Karten haben wir also einfach auf den Tresen gelegt. Der Blick auf die Stadt und die Donau entschädigt zwar etwas, jedoch würden wir trotzdem niemals wieder diese Unterkunft buchen!

Fantastic location but pretty worn down. Mattresses are very soft and worn as well. Nobody at the reception in the early mornings and the late evenings. Needed to leave early and didn’t find anyone for check-out.

It was a real novelty to stay in a boat hotel. The room was clean with good facilities and a boat balcony with a lovely view of Bratislava. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negatives were that the room was quite hot and the area was a bit noisy.

Breakfast was presented as an option, but upon arrival we were told that there was no breakfast at all. We had dinner in the hotel's restaurant told to close at 10pm. But we could not order a dessert at 9.30pm as they were closing. Danube is nice but very noisy due to flow. In the bedroom curtains are too small to entirely blind the window.

Location and view was GREAT. It is a pity that this hotel is in very poor managememt hands. Room and carpet was dirty, shower was clogged, etc. There was no hair dryer in the room and to make matters worst, I have not seen a receptionist nor any staff after I checked in till the time I checked out. I just left the room card at the recepetion when I left about 10:00am. Location was great but when we arrived about 21:00 pm, there was a concert going on in the area and we were not allowed to park the car in the nearby parking space, so we drove around till exactly 23:00 when the police opened up the parking lot. So, please check with hotel if there will be an event going on during your visit.

Lækkert at bo på vandet med altan udover. Værelset var rigtig fint indrettet, men det hele trænger til en god rengøring eller en gang maling. Dog helt fint sted at bo! Det var lige mærkeligt at tjekke ud, vi kunne ikke finde noget personale og de tog heller ikke telefonen, så vi endte med bare at gå derfra. Men jeg ville gerne bo der igen, helt klart et sjovt hotel og vildt fedt med altan udover vandet! Hotellet ligger meget tæt på indre by og ca 6 minutters gågang fra et storcenter hvor man kan købe alt :)

Location was nice and that's about the only positive. There were mice in common areas, room was not clean with obvious cobwebs all over the walls and after we spent one night we realised the door didnt even lock properly so anything could have happened while we were asleep. Owner/manager completely disregarded all issues when we said we want to check out early and pointed us to hotels.com straight away with no further discussion. Only reason we managed to get the remainder of our stay that we didn't use refunded is the extremely helpful guy from hotels.com and the only nice person working for this "hotel" called Matej who we can't thank enough for his support.

If you are late to this property, it can be a challenge to get in. Thankfully, Expedia came to the rescue and someone came to help. This place was deserted! Pretty sure I was the only one there. While there were mentions of bugs and cleanliness issues in posts, I didn't notice any issues. The place was decent, but there is nobody to help if you need it and it's a walk to everything (but not that terrible). For staying on a boat, it was a neat experience, but I'd recommend staying in the city center. The stress when nobody was there for checkin and not being able to leave my bag to pickup later on checkout were things I appreciate staffed properties for. Otherwise, this place was fine.

What a wonderful stay at the Botel Dunajský Pivovar! I arrived at the wrong entrance to the bar/ restaurant instead of the Botel reception, but they were still very accommodating and called the host who gave me a tour around the Botel and showed me to the room. The room was ideal right of the River with a beautiful view of the castle, its only a short walk to the UFO tower and bridges to link you to the other side. Lovely restaurants nearby and a great bar on the boat itself, which is separated and soundproofed to the Botel portion very cleverly done and it was an amazing stay, I would recommend it!

The Botel room was well appointed and comfortable. The view across the Danube to the city and the Bratislava Castle was outstanding. We arrived by bicycle and the staff ensured that we had a safe place to store the bikes. The only issue was that the ventilation system was not working. Staff at the Botel and the adjoining restaurant were friendly and proficient. The restaurant food was very tasty and set at a good price point.

Botel Dunajský Pivovar has nice rooms, but it operates as an airbnb apartment and not as a 4-star hotel. It says that it has a 24-hour reception, but that's not true. The reception is open 3pm - 8pm and not on Sundays. If you have a problem, there is no one to turn to. On Saturday we called four times to two different contact numbers but no one answered. No service or support is provided. I wonder what would happen if we lost the entry card. I don't know how it is in the summer since what I am describing happened in the two days of November 28-29.

Perfect spot overlooking Bratislava Castle. Also, just within walking distance is the city centre and the blue church. Great hotel for a quick stop for adults only and definitely not with kids. Had an extraordinary experience of staying in the boat-turned hotel.

don't look for any more hotels, this one is located on the bank of the Danube, with a spectacular view of the Castle, the UFO Bridge, the museum of natural history, among others. Die Lage des Botels ist durchaus einzigartig. Man kann das Schloss und die Sonnenuntergänge vom Balkon aus betrachten. Leider gab es keine Parkmöglichkeiten aufgrund eines Konzerts im angrenzenden Park. Desweiteren gab es kein Zimmerservice (selbst der Müll wurde über 3 Tage nicht abgeholt). Der Abschluss in der Duschkabine funktioniert nicht gut, sodass immer 2cm Wasser stehen bleibt. Die Badmöbel waren teilweise mit Klebeband repariert welches sich leider ablöste. Die Balkonmöbel müssten mal ordentlich gereinigt werden. Das Personal spricht nur sehr einfaches Englisch.

Der erste Eingang ist die Reception ohne Schild, vorher melden im Restaurant 2ter Zugang. Also wenn mannzu zweit ist wartet bestensfalls der eine am ersten Eingang, ist bequemer wegen dem Gepäck. Der Inhaber spricht keine Fremdsprache, ging aber irgendwie trotzdem. Zimmer sauber und schöner Blick auf die Stadt und Donau. Wir waren nur eine Nacht auf Durchreise, ob wir länger dort schön fänden ist Ansichtssache. Leider gab es dort kein Frühstück obwohl bei Buchung die Möglichkeit auf Frühstück angegeben war. Das Bett war etwas hart, also Geschmackssache. Sonst toller Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung von Bratislava. UFO Aussichtspunkt nur 850m entfernt. Parkplatz Tyrek 2 und Ein öffentlicher Parkplatz ohne Kosten (war am Abreisetag morgens voll), aber am Anreisetag war es genau richtige Zeit morgens um 9:30uhr waren einige Plätze frei. Der kostenpflichtige Parkplatz Tyrek 2 war aufgrund einer bevorstehenden Veranstaltung bis 06.5.2024 gesperrt.

Mooiste uitzicht van de stad! Echter is er niet standaard personeel aanwezig wat je moet bellen bij aankomst. Kamers zijn super, er is alleen geen ontbijt beschikbaar, hoe dan ook. Niet bijboeken dus!
Mooiste uitzicht van de stad! Echter is er niet standaard personeel aanwezig wat je moet bellen bij aankomst. Kamers zijn super, er is alleen geen ontbijt beschikbaar, hoe dan ook. Niet bijboeken dus!

Der erste Eingang ist die Reception ohne Schild, vorher melden im Restaurant 2ter Zugang. Also wenn mannzu zweit ist wartet bestensfalls der eine am ersten Eingang, ist bequemer wegen dem Gepäck. Der Inhaber spricht keine Fremdsprache, ging aber irgendwie trotzdem. Zimmer sauber und schöner Blick auf die Stadt und Donau. Wir waren nur eine Nacht auf Durchreise, ob wir länger dort schön fänden ist Ansichtssache. Leider gab es dort kein Frühstück obwohl bei Buchung die Möglichkeit auf Frühstück angegeben war. Das Bett war etwas hart, also Geschmackssache. Sonst toller Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung von Bratislava. UFO Aussichtspunkt nur 850m entfernt. Parkplatz Tyrek 2 und Ein öffentlicher Parkplatz ohne Kosten (war am Abreisetag morgens voll), aber am Anreisetag war es genau richtige Zeit morgens um 9:30uhr waren einige Plätze frei. Der kostenpflichtige Parkplatz Tyrek 2 war aufgrund einer bevorstehenden Veranstaltung bis 06.5.2024 gesperrt. Empfehlenswert zum Sightseeing (meine Meinung).

Das Botel ist aussergewöhnlich, ruhig, sauber und zentral gelgen. Leider wird seit ca. 3 Monaten kein Frühstück mehr angeboten, das gibt es dafür gleich gegenüber in der Albstadt. Die Bar und das Restaurant sind Montags geschlossen, dafür war es ruhig.

Fantastisch concept, vriendelijke service, zeer gunstige ligging met shopping faciliteiten en oude binnenstad van Bratislava binnen loop bereik. De aan boord gevestigde bierbrouwerij en het restaurant zijn van zeer goed niveau! We komen terug!

The Botel room was well appointed and comfortable. The view across the Danube to the city and the Bratislava Castle was outstanding. We arrived by bicycle and the staff ensured that we had a safe place to store the bikes. The only issue was that the ventilation system was not working. Staff at the Botel and the adjoining restaurant were friendly and proficient. The restaurant food was very tasty and set at a good price point.

Breakfast was presented as an option, but upon arrival we were told that there was no breakfast at all. We had dinner in the hotel's restaurant told to close at 10pm. But we could not order a dessert at 9.30pm as they were closing. Danube is nice but very noisy due to flow. In the bedroom curtains are too small to entirely blind the window.

Rigtig god udsigt fra værelset, men aircon virker ikke og der er ikke blevet støvet af i lang tid. Der er ikke rigtig noget personale og når man spørger ind til diverse ting, så får man ikke et ordentligt svar, da de heller ikke kan engelsk. Billederne snyder lidt, da der heller ikke er pool på toppen af båden

The experience was very underwhelming. Firstly, it was difficult to access the property to check in with no one directly on site and no clear instructions on who to contact. When staff arrived, it came across like the hotel was a bit of an inconvenience, they were not very welcoming and quite abrupt. Cleanliness here is a big issue, bins had not been emptied in the rooms from previous guests, cobwebs and dead spiders all over the place, and a general fusty smell throughout. The place could do with a thorough hoover and good scrub. It appeared the bathroom hadn’t had a deep clean for some time either. The facilities were also an issue, inadequate curtains meant we were woken as soon as sunrise occurred - they didn’t even cover the full width of the door and were not lined/thick enough. The room was roasting hot all night with no working air-conditioning, and having the window open it was so noisy! There was no water, or even a kettle for tea/coffee and we were unable to access any wifi onboard. The balconies outside the room were filthy, needed a good scrub down and furniture cleaned. The partitions between the rooms were torn down or simply not there, so anyone could have walked along the area (and peered into the shower porthole windows which were not covered). I’d rather leave an honest review so people know fully what to expect when booking!

Avevamo dormito in questo Botel già a dicembre 2019 e siamo tornati per una notte mentre eravamo a Vienna con amici, perché è una esperienza particolare. Cabina pulita e confortevole, con bellissima vista sul Danubio e sul castello. Lo scarico della doccia da sistemare. Eravamo gli unici ospiti del Botel e non c'era personale di servizio, ma eravamo al corrente. La brewery invece era aperta e con molti clienti. Lo consiglio a tutti, ma soprattutto a chi, trovandosi a Vienna o nei paraggi, vuole fare un bellissimo giro in battello fino a Bratislava e passare una notte sul barcone.
