1774 Waterfront Inn

This was our second Thanksgiving family gathering at the 1774 Inn. The gorgeous location continued to provide a dreamy backdrop for a five night stay.We are a large group, so we also rented the lovely adjacent Hayloft suite. This stay was even better than the first. It felt like coming home. Our host Sarah was gracious and helpful, and the site manager Marianne was delightful and accommodating. Our texts/queries were responded to promptly and thoughtfully.Lots of community areas inside. The kitchen was well kitted out and great fun for chatting while cooking. One of the elegant sitting rooms was an excellent location for charades and trivia games.All highly recommended!!

Perfect place for a large group gathering. Exquisite setting by the river. Large comfortable, yet historic house and barn. Large and well stocked kitchen. Thinking of returning next year

What a terrific long weekend at the 1774 Inn! All the charm of a historic home with modern amenities that we've come to know and love. Setting is AMAZING and property manager and property owner were available to help with anything we needed (though we didn't need it!). Will definitely be visiting again!

Five nights. Sixteen family members. Adults with six children from 8 to 19. And everyone loved it! Lovely historical house and barn. Gorgeous views and sunsets. Eagles and hawks circling salt water grasses, seals below. Walks on Popham Beach and wooded trails. Charades, chess, movies, lots of good food.
