Checking in on a kiosk is definitely unique. It’s still a human interaction but thru webcams. The hotel is definitely older and needs some much needed tlc. The parking lot around the hotel needs upgrading. Too many potholes and crumbled pavement. The rooms were clean and good. Breakfast was alright, just typical continental breakfast stuff. It was a good stay for the price.

This is the forth worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in a lot of places around the planet. Book elsewhere. People hanging out outside drinking and smoking. Exterior doors didn’t lock. Check in process was bazaar. Everything was shabby but bedding was clean. I would not have stayed in the room solo. I would have cancelled my reservation if there had been an option to and I was not completely exhausted from driving all day.

Yes parking n downtown were easy n safe. The bathtub shower was siliconed and didnt work. I have video but wont let me load. Spraying water right outta wall.

This hotel needs a major upgrade to the outside. It looks like a prison. Inside there is no lobby basicsally just a walk in area and you check in thru the computer and Im not sure I was talking to a real person or a virtual person. It was not welcoming at all...I would NEVER stay here again. The room was clean. The sheets where old and pilly.

I was not happy to find that there is no staff on site when you check in. you have to use a kiosk to check in. I do not feel comfortable with knowing that the kiosk now has my credit card information and my drivers license information and the lady on the kiosk was from the Philippians. you need to have local staff available. the breakfast is very limited. The rooms were sufficient with all the basic needs covered. as we were aware of at time of booking. very quiet area, no issues with noise, close to restaurants and easy to get to the ski hills. kept the parking lot plowed nicely.

The carpet felt like it was shampooed but had not been extracted properly. It felt weird so we wore shoes until bed. Microwave had dried ramen inside. Bathroom corners had a build up of grime. Bathroom sink had scant trickle for hot and cold. We washed hands in the shower. Bedding was clean and staff was friendly.

This property is in very poor repair and unclean. Not just the room, but the entrance and lobby were also nasty. Stained shredded carpet, broken fridge, shelf falling off the wall, missing baseboards along the floor, drywall dust along some of the carpet…most certainly NOT expected for a property charging this high rate during the off-season. Not sure what’s up with the virtual check-in kiosk, but we prefer properties that have actual staff visible and onsite.

Hotel room smelled like mildew-went to Walmart and bought an air purifier for stay. There was mold and spider webs behind our bathroom door. The room was damp feeling, am now sick post 2 day stay. Continental breakfast had 2.5 week expired yogurts in the fridge which was brought to staffs attention and they did not take them out of circulation. Did not ever see anyone using the actual housekeeping cart, nor were there any store bought cleaning bottles on it. The older man on site was very nice and as helpful as he could be. The rooms mostly appear clean, not sure how clean it actually is, though. Stayed here 4 years ago, will not be staying here again.

There was mold in the bathroom. Sticky stuff on the floor in the bathroom and had to put towels on the floor just to walk in there. Key card didnt work for the door. Was told we would get one that worked but never came with one. Place looks run down. Looks nothing like the online pictures.

Horrible! Room was dirty, a trud was left in the toilet..there also black mold growing in the toilet.. and no breakfast...pre package donuts dont count. No milk. Yes juices. But people with diabetes cant have any of this. So had to go to kwik trip, and spend more money

Our room was not very clean. There were French fries on the floor at the foot of the bed and one of the two bath towels had what looked like fresh blood on it which was only visible after unfolding. The carpet had several stains and the drywall had damage in a few spots. Bed was ok and (thankfully) the sheets seemed clean (I hope).

When we entered through the front lobby, there was a dirty sick balled up in the entry way. The first room we checked into there was dirty underwear in the bathroom and it was not cleaned. The second room they put us in, the bathroom was dirty and the window was wide open and no screen. This location was absolutely horrible and not worth the price that was being charged.

Room was large and clean. You could smell how clean. Would have gotten 4 stars but the tub/shower was in very bad condition. When i stepped into the tub it sounded liked i was going thru the floor. The sound was so loud it woke up the other people in the room. The area of the hotel looked skeichy but was quite and safe. They do need a sign with a light on the building.

The room was clean and the hotel was a nice quiet place. the downside is the exterior of the building, it doesn’t look like an official hotel because all it has is a banner. I also wasn’t fond of the check in process. They have a kiosk but why would i use the kiosk when there are people behind the desk? The kiosk is a cool feature but there’s no privacy and it just seems out of place when the building looks a little run down

If you just need a bed to sleep in it’s ok. Carpet is filthy and stained. The room it’s self was clean except for the carpet. No stopper in tub but the bathroom appeared clean just old.

Just a quick overnight on our way to the UP. We were surprised at the lack of rooms available in the area. It was either $350 for the quality inn or $100 unknown room.. we took our chances as we just needed a spot to sleep. First the virtual check in was wild.. but it worked well. Our room was nothing fancy but the bed was comfortable and we got a good nights rest. Bathroom is a little rough but manageable. Honestly im very picky, i like nice hotels...but id stay again.

We were not told that there was no “front desk”. It was all done via machine. We walked in and felt completely unwelcome. A couple who were sitting in the tiny entry told us what to do to check in. We would never have stayed had we been told there would be no one there to answer questions,etc. if someone had been there I would have asked for a different blanket since ours had a cigarette burn in it (and no, we are not smokers).

The hotel is old, and shows its age and wear. Check in and out is HORRIBLE! It is done on a kiosk, the people on the screen are hard to understand, the connection is iffy, and we along with 5 other rooms had to have new keys issued because the ones from the kiosk didn't work. However, the live human people there on staff were FANTASTIC!

There is not a 'physical' person for check in. There is a machine. I had to call the hotel to find out how to check in. Several minutes later the machine came to life. We went thru the process, this machine wouldnt dispense a key. So a 'manager' had to bring it to me. That took 5 minutes. The whole process was over 15 minutes, most of the time had me standing in an unwelcoming room waiting. Not a positive experience

Check-in process using the kiosk was terrible. The kiosk froze partway through the check-in and left me stranded for half hour delaying me for the evening's planned activities. It worked ok when I returned several hours later - after my planned activity. The shower had very little water coming through the shower head and made for an interesting endeavor. The kiosk lady (Bel) indicated it'd cost an additional $50 for an extra hour or two of late checkout. Overall quite terrible service. Would not stay here again and would not recommend this place to anyone else.

Bob and his staff at the hotel were pleasant and friendly, and went out of their way to ensure our stay was confortable. It was a little unnerving to check in virtually at a kiosk, but it was very convenient, and we ended up revisiting that kiosk (open 24/7) when we had questions. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. We’d definitely go back!

Bob and his staff at the hotel were pleasant and friendly, and went out of their way to ensure our stay was confortable. It was a little unnerving to check in virtually at a kiosk, but it was very convenient, and we ended up revisiting that kiosk (open 24/7) when we had questions. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. We’d definitely go back!

For the price, it's a decent place to stay. It isn't the cleanest place and isn't very updated (bathroom is old), but the motel is located in a great location between the Kwik Trip and Mike's Restaurant. There is no front desk staff. You check in via a kiosk station. This was our second time there in three weeks and we will stay there again.

Motel is fine. Just your average motel. Virtual check in is weird. Feels very unwelcoming and leaves you wondering how it would work if there was any kind of issue, needed something or just had a question, luckily we didn’t have to find out. Also, not much of a breakfast area. Don’t remember if it advertised breakfast included or not. If not then I guess it’s just a little bonus which is fine. Just coffee, apples, yogurt and a variety of juices in original stores bottles that I would never drink cause what if someone put something in it or drank out of them or whatever. Yuck. Needs to be a dispenser machine for that. Coffee was also in a regular pot. Wouldn’t drink that either. Place is very centrally located though and right by Kwik Trip which is helpful.

I was not happy to find that there is no staff on site when you check in. you have to use a kiosk to check in. I do not feel comfortable with knowing that the kiosk now has my credit card information and my drivers license information and the lady on the kiosk was from the Philippians. you need to have local staff available. the breakfast is very limited. The rooms were sufficient with all the basic needs covered. as we were aware of at time of booking. very quiet area, no issues with noise, close to restaurants and easy to get to the ski hills. kept the parking lot plowed nicely.

Property was quiet outdated. Needs new carpet, new mattress, new showers. The free breakfast was expired danish. When checking in no staff only a terminal. When checking out staff said no paper receipts. Will never stay there again.

No live front desk person. Had to use the Kiosk to check in. Manager showed us our room to make sure someone cleaned it. Later when we went in the bathroom, a used washcloth was hanging over the shower rod. Breakfast had expired yogurt in the frig to eat.

Room had a musty smell otherwise room was clean. No breakfast to speak of. Yogurt cups and juices. No coffee but there is coffee in your room. Also check in was remote by a person in Singapore!

Checked in by a computer with a representative and that’s ok. Room smelt musty! No coffee maker in room. Continental breakfast with limited items like prepackaged muffins, donuts. Very limited. You also had to put on your own pot of coffee. Hairdryer didn’t work needed to get someone to hold the button down to dry my hair. Went to have a shower and didn’t want to get my hair wet but got totally soaked by the under tap shower pull. No staff on site. This place has gone downhill since our last stay. It was also priced like top chain hotels. The owner needs to invest in a total refurbishment of this property. I would not advertise this property

Found a dirty towel on the back of the bathroom door when we got there. The hotel kiosk staff was the most helpful part of the entire stay. I think the room was overpriced for what we got for sure. And then on our checkout day, the housekeeper asked if we were checking out at 9:50 when the checkout time was 11. And when we said we had one more bag to grab he looked down at his watch like he was in a hurry so we felt like we better leave by 10, even though we had another hour left still.
