Staff was very communicative and offered onsite parking for an extra fee which was very convenient. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the bathroom was stocked with all the necessities. The room is very bright. We used sleep masks. Pool is small but nice to have. The most convenient thing about this property is that it is within walking distance to Duval Street and restaurants.

I did not think we would use the pool. It was such a nice feature in the middle of the day to come back and just relax and chill. The house was very pleasant, I would love to come back to Key West and this is definitely the place to stay. We are not early risers , however having breakfast on the porch was something I looked forward to because I loved the ambiance. We met other residents who gave us good tips on where to go. Every day we met new people who were very friendly. We were there one week, we rented bikes right there on the property which was very convenient. Sammy was a great host and very helpful on how to make the most of our trip. The location is great, so close to all the action

We enjoyed our three day stay at The Garden House. The staff was awesome, esp.hosts Dawson, Sammy and Barbara, our housekeeper. The location was excellent and we really enjoyed our afternoon dips in the pool while taking a break from the heat of the day. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable...great pillows!

This is a prime location to walk to everything Duval and surrounding. We got lucky to park on the street right in front of the property and you just have to know not to park in residential. The pool/jacuzzi was not heated at all so we weren't able to use it, bummer! Best pillows we've had at a hotel in a LONG time! Our room was just enough to sleep in and get ready, no hanging in room, but it is Key West you better not be in your room!!

Great location, clean and organized dependencies, great breakfast. We were served with a wonderful waffle. People are very polite and helpful. Although the property offers parking to customers, unfortunately we didn't find it and we had to pay. But that wasn't a problem because the rest was wonderful. We'll be back other times.

Highly recommend! No frills but a great staff and great location! Limited parking but a staff member moved his car so I could park my high top camper van - A . Great made to order waffles. 3 blocks from Duval and two from the waterfront - very walkable.

Very nice place close and walkable to everything in Old Town Key West. Friendly staff, nice Jacuzzi pool and nice outdoor space.. Fun beach getaway. Highly recommend this unique boutique Hotel. Great coffee and breakfast served every morning, poolside.

Great place but, the room was moldy and smelly. Almost to a point of leaving. It is a great little place other than a very unclean room with an extremely musty and moldy odor.

Wonderful place to stay. Convenient to everything. Staff/owner was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Property was nice and clean but we could have used a couple more power outlets. Bed was very comfortable. Will highly recommend!

We stayed at the Garden House for one night since since it was close to the Yankee Freedom Ferry dock for the Dry Tortugas. It's a quick 10 minute walk to the dock. Sammy Miami was an excellent host and packed us a to-go breakfast since we had to leave early the next morning. Garden House is in a great neighborhood and close to all the restaurants. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and exceptionally clean.

Great location to visit all the old town key west locations and restaurants. Room was very clean, bed very comfortable, and breakfast just right. Check in process was awesome and they even let me check in hours early so I could spend more time running around key west. Would definitely stay here again.

We were very disappointed in the Garden House. The room was small and not well appointed. The bathroom was extremely small and not well maintained. There was mold in the grout in the shower, rust marks on the shower tile where a shower caddy had probably previously hung and a rusty medicine cabinet. The paint was chipped and scuffed. I had no confidence that ant part of the room was well cleaned. I would never choose to stay here again nor would I recommend it for others.

Hard to park the car on arrival, and then, it was expensive. I was really surprised to find out there was no one at the «\xa0reception”. I had no clue a room could be so small (I was at room # 4 I think)

I liked it location. Close to Duval street and Mallory Square. The garden is nice and quite and we got a small fridge in the room. I liked the breakfasts and ordering bagel and Belgian waffle. I did not like the tiny room with the bed occuping most of the room with no space even for a chair. I did not like that it is old with very noisy air-condition which I needed to use ear plugs to be able to sleep. We were there two nights and there was no option for cleaning in between.

Sammie and Dawson were absolutely awesome. The breakfast and pool area was nice. The room needed some attention. Dresser drawers and toilet seat were broken. The a/c struggled. The bed was lumpy. But otherwise enjoyed our time in Key West.

Don’t choose the “tiny queen” room. Ridiculously small room. With luggage in room, so cramped and tiny could barely get around the bed. Bathroom so small, had to sit sideways on toilet. No free parking, unless you keep searching the adjacent street(s) for a rare open spot, otherwise $30/night. Had to laugh at it when we opened the door the first time… but location was great for easy walk to Duval St.

Great location! Easy to find. Check in was easy. Definitely take the breakfast. Great choices! Rooms comfortable and quiet. The owner did refund us one night that we canceled there due to Hurricane Milton.

Terrible customer service from Sami who said to be one of the managers!! The most rude and unprofessional person that I’ve met in the last 11 years that we have going to Key West 2-3 times a year. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. There are plenty of options in Key West with much better accommodations and especially with great customer service for the same price.

Really enjoyed our stay at The Garden House. Quiet, quaint and perfect. Conveniently located to dining, shopping and transportation. Sammy went above and beyond for restaurant reservations, accommodations and anything we needed. Can't wait to return!

Check-in was extremely easy and Sammy was very accommodating for our late check-out. We enjoyed being able to rent bikes for the day at the B&B. Breakfast was made to order each day and was delicious!

Sammy from Miami was probably the best hotel manager I ever met. Texted my phone when my plane landed to check with us. Sammy directed us to the best restaurants and bars. I considered him as the Ricardo Montabone of the Keys. We will definitely stay at the Garden House on our next trip to the Keys

If you want to stay at the Hilton, go stay at the Hilton. If you want to be welcomed like family, stay at the Garden Inn. Being welcomed by Sammy "Miami" was like staying with some quirky long lost relative. I\'ve never been to Key West before, but this type of atmosphere is supposed to be what the area is known for. Laidback, personal, and full of character. Try the waffles, I\'m a food snob and even I thought they were good.

If you want to stay at the Hilton, go stay at the Hilton. If you want to be welcomed like family, stay at the Garden Inn. Being welcomed by Sammy "Miami" was like staying with some quirky long lost relative. I\'ve never been to Key West before, but this type of atmosphere is supposed to be what the area is known for. Laidback, personal, and full of character. Try the waffles, I\'m a food snob and even I thought they were good.

I never arrived. They only would return calls hours after they received a message. I was sent an email within hours of arriving. The email demanded that I on an unsecured form post a pic of my Credit Card and Drivers License. I refused. On the email form there was no options but apparently there were. The location of the property is absolutely excellent, within walking distances to most of the popular places. We were very lucky for finding a free parking spot just cross the street. The breakfast was decent and the staff services were excellent. The air conditioner was pretty loud though.

We stayed at the Garden House for one night since since it was close to the Yankee Freedom Ferry dock for the Dry Tortugas. It's a quick 10 minute walk to the dock. Sammy Miami was an excellent host and packed us a to-go breakfast since we had to leave early the next morning. Garden House is in a great neighborhood and close to all the restaurants. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and exceptionally clean.

Check-in was extremely easy and Sammy was very accommodating for our late check-out. We enjoyed being able to rent bikes for the day at the B&B. Breakfast was made to order each day and was delicious!

We had an amazing experience at the garden house! The breakfast was sooo good and the place is quaint and cozy. Perfectly located close to everything. There’s a cute little dog around and the people who work there are super sweet. 100% would stay again!

Highly recommend! No frills but a great staff and great location! Limited parking but a staff member moved his car so I could park my high top camper van - A . Great made to order waffles. 3 blocks from Duval and two from the waterfront - very walkable.

If you want to stay at the Hilton, go stay at the Hilton. If you want to be welcomed like family, stay at the Garden Inn. Being welcomed by Sammy "Miami" was like staying with some quirky long lost relative. I\'ve never been to Key West before, but this type of atmosphere is supposed to be what the area is known for. Laidback, personal, and full of character. Try the waffles, I\'m a food snob and even I thought they were good.

If you want to stay at the Hilton, go stay at the Hilton. If you want to be welcomed like family, stay at the Garden Inn. Great location to visit all the old town key west locations and restaurants. Room was very clean, bed very comfortable, and breakfast just right. Check in process was awesome and they even let me check in hours early so I could spend more time running around key west. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice place close and walkable to everything in Old Town Key West. Friendly staff, nice Jacuzzi pool and nice outdoor space.. Fun beach getaway. Highly recommend this unique boutique Hotel. Great coffee and breakfast served every morning, poolside.

A Cozy Gem in the Heart of Key West The Garden House is a lovely, cozy hotel located in the Historic District of Key West. We spent six days here and really enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic and everything is within easy walking distance. The breakfast was amazing! We had made-to-order waffles almost every morning by Sammy, who was absolutely wonderful. He was friendly, welcoming, and really made our mornings special. We also loved the fresh fruit with Cool Whip—it’s something we’re definitely going to miss! I’d also like to mention Dawson, who was working a couple of the days we were there. He was very helpful and made sure we had what we needed. One thing we really liked about this hotel is that they don’t automatically clean your room every day. We actually preferred this. If you need fresh towels or supplies, you can simply ask in the morning, and they are happy to provide them. We also really liked the keyless entry. Since we were out on the water almost every day, it was so convenient not having to worry about carrying a room key or figuring out where to keep it while swimming and snorkeling. The only thing I would mention—and it’s really more of a minor inconvenience than a negative—is that our shower in Room 10 didn’t have anywhere to keep shampoo or soap. It looked like there may have once been a small shelf or holder there that had broken and just hadn’t been replaced. Other than that, we had no complaints. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

We loved the location. Place was nice. Breakfast was out of this world. If there was only one change we could have made would have been a room upstairs or just away from pool area. It was just noisy at night. Otherwise we enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back! Sammy is the best!
