Fantastic was the first word used to describe the house from a family member. Enough room for 10. Spacious with beautiful views. Enjoyed the hot tub. Lots of stairs which was difficult for my mother in law who walks with a cane but we parked her in a room of her choice and she enjoyed. Close to the beach and casinos. It was perfect! Thank you for an enjoyable stay

Lookout Lodge proved to be an outstanding rental property for our large group of 6 adults and 4 teens. It was spacious and comfortable, with bedrooms, bathrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen with plenty of seating for our meals and snacks. At every level of the house, including the rooftop deck, the views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding mountains were spectacular. The house had plenty of tvs with good cable access, a nice recreation area on the bottom floor with a pool table and card table. The location turned out to be great, just off Hwy 50 with easy access to beaches, hiking trails, parks, restaurants, and shops. The city of South Tahoe was minutes away. All in all, Lookout Lodge in Zephyr Cove was an excellent vacation choice with all members of our group giving it rave reviews.

The communication and the checking in was easy! A ton of space for 2 families of 5 with teenage children. We had so much fun grilling and cooking with our families and laughing around the huge table for dinner. It had great views, great neighborhood, and close to lots of things. Housekeeping can do better with wiping off window sills of cobwebs but it is in the woods. We had a great time and would stay again.

The location of the property was definitely convenient, which is the one positive thing I can say. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn’t meet expectations. Cleanliness was a major issue—several rooms and pieces of furniture felt unclean and not properly maintained. What was most unsettling was finding a plastic bag with smoking paraphernalia left behind in the dairy cabinet of the fridge. That was a complete shock and made us question the overall upkeep and care put into the property. Based on this experience, I won’t be staying here again or recommending it to anyone.

nice place and location but lot of stairs and the furniture and the mattresses need to be updated.
