Location The ground floor well-decorated condo next to the pool & gym provided privacy due to the plants and trees. The complex is on a nice beach. Across the street within close walking distance from the complex are all the amenities one needs, e.g., grocery store, drugstore, and even a Ross for forgotten items. Kitchen Amenities The condo is well-stocked with flour, sugar, brown sugar, Splenda, 20 spices, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, olive, sesame, & spray oils, white vinegar, Coffeemate, hot coco, cornstarch, salt & pepper, & coffee filters. There are food storage containers, plastic wrap, Ziplock bags, and foil. One will need to purchase whole bean or ground coffee for the Mr Coffee and Breville Espresso machines. There is a coffee bean grinder. The kitchen is a gourmet kitchen with Subzero and Wolf appliances, & an extensive new collection of pots, pans, cooking utensils, plates, glassware, and silverware for eight persons. Condo Amenities Plenty of high quality towels, soap, shampoo, house cleaners, & dishwasher, dish, hand, & laundry soaps. Included are two large screen TVs, AC, filtered water, washer & dryer, & jacuzzi tub & walk-in shower for two. Beautiful unit with exceptional ground floor location within the resort. The kitchen is very thoughtfully appointed with top of the line equipment. Two full bathrooms, one bedroom, more comfortable seating than two people could need. We had a tiny issue getting all of the need-to-know details from the welcome app as it was not available to Android users. Candace was amazing, replying within minutes both by phone and email with the pool/fitness facility codes. (In hindsight I should have messaged the host before we travelled regarding the app.) The resort, pool, waterslides!!, hot tubs, grounds, location all fabulous with a full grocery right across the street. If looking to stay in the Kapa'a (centrally located to north and south) this unit is a prize booking.

We were very happy with our unit D101. Quality furniture, bed, towels, kitchen supplies, washer and dryer, decor, beach items etc. Very clean and spacious. Pool was freezing. Wish it was heated. Hot tub was great. Grounds are very pretty. Gym was adequate and met our needs. We had a slight problem with the living room TV and put a call in but never heard back. Bedroom TV was fine.

We had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful and the unit was perfect for two couples traveling together. We each had a master bedroom on opposite sides of the unit. It was stocked with everything that we needed. There was a large kitchen that we cooked in often and a nice table on the deck to eat and play games on. The location was great, close to the airport, Safeway and other stores across the street, and a bike/walking path that goes on for miles. We enjoyed the waterslides, pools, hot tubs, and the chairs on the beach. Had dinner at the Oasis twice. The owners were easy to get a hold of and gave us all the information that we needed to make our vacation a success. We will be back!

We loved our stay at the Waipouli Beach Resort. The condo was beautiful and had anything you could possibly need. The Oasis restaurant on property was excellent and you can’t beat the view. Using the pool was easy and relaxing. Parking close to the room was easy and the central location was very convenient. Super easy process from start to finish.

We had a great time as a family at this property. The unit was well-furnished, stocked with anything we needed (beach chairs, coolers, travel crib, etc), and the walk out onto the grass was perfect for our 15 month old. Even the cookware was solid and high quality. The pool was great - very family friendly, but you could also find little private corners to get some peace and surround yourself with waterfalls and bright flowers. The Safeway across the street is one of two 24 hour stores on the island, which is perfect for all the things we forgot. Definitely would stay again.

The condo is a great location! We loved being central to everything. The airport and Walmart is 10 min away, Safeway across the street. Lots of food options near by as well. The condo is very spacious! It accommodated 3 adults and 2 kids. Loved having the 3 bathrooms as well. Wished it was on the other side of building to have pool/ocean view, but we didn't spend a ton of time in the condo so it didn't bother us too much. The property is beautiful! The pool is very pretty and fun for the kids. The water was cold! There is several hot tubs though that we all enjoyed. The beach is beautiful, but the water is not swimmable. We didn't really have an issue with this, there are lots and lots of beaches to visit near by! The restaurant on site is so good. We ate there twice. farm to table food. So so good. Pricey though. Amazing vacation! We enjoyed our time so much!

My wife and I stayed there for 5 nights (10/9-14) for our anniversary. Great location. Close to shops and restaurants. Condo was well appointed and very clean. Communication with the host was flawless. We received a call the first night notifying us that the city was working on a broken water line on the main highway and the water would be shut off at the resort during the late evening hours. We appreciated the call and were able to adjust accordingly. Thank you for that. We will definitely book again in the future.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our seventh stay at Waipouli and although the location is still great, the unit we rented showed it's age. The unit was clean but the carpets and chairs were stained and some of the chairs require restuffing. Appliances overall were good however stove top took forever to heat up and there was no stove top vent, so steam and odors filled the room. Beach chairs and toys in the room were great.

The unit is spacious and nicely appointed with full kitchen, laundry, 2 huge bedrooms and baths. Everything you need in the kitchen for preparing meals and lots of items for use at the beach like chairs, toys, coolers, etc. The pool is incredible! The owners were very easy to communicate with and everything was ready for us when we arrived. The only thing I wish the unit had was a better view from the balconies -- it overlooked the parking lot and shopping center across the street. However, the pool, restaurant and resort are all ON THE BEACH! Can't beat that! Wish we could have stayed longer and would DEFINITELY recommend! Thank you for an amazing week!

Great location central to all destinations, including Safeway, which was right across the street. Hosts were great to work with and the facility was in excellent condition. Lots of items in the kitchen, there wasn't anything we needed for preparing meals that wasn't available. We would highly recommend.

Very comfortable and clean; all the amenities of home. Comfy king size bed; unit is quiet and close to parking lot; great pool and deck area; resort rents bikes etc. Safeway & Starbucks across the street. Would come here again.

Full kitchen with separate bedroom was fantastic, rather than a studio apartment as some units advertise. Short walk to the beach in the morning provided beautiful sunrises. The unit was warm/inviting/comfortable with the colors/wood and decoration. Finding the unit in the resort was very easy and its location was convenient for loading/unloading. Parking, getting in and out out of the resort to the main roads, and access to groceries/stores was super-convenient. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend to family and friends.

The pool is very pretty and fun for the kids. The water was cold! There is several hot tubs though that we all enjoyed. The beach is beautiful, but the water is not swimmable. We didn't really have an issue with this, there are lots and lots of beaches to visit near by! The restaurant on site is so good. We ate there twice. farm to table food. So so good. Pricey though. Amazing vacation! We enjoyed our time so much!

We had an absolute blast in this unit. Let’s start with that first. The pictures are exactly as pictured. This place is stunning. The lanai opens up to a well manicured lawn and glorious botanical trees and flowers. One of the pool gates is steps away from the lanai which was super convenient.BBQs worked great. Ability to take towels was super easy. Very short walk to the beach. You can see it from the room. The pool fountains were a nice touch to help lull us to sleep. Living space is outstanding. We loved the soaking tub and having a full washer and dryer. We were excited for the espresso machine but ended up using the drip- we are quite refined and the espresso machine doesn’t get the grounds nearly as fine as they could be but we managed. I don’t think there wasn’t anything in the kitchen we didn’t use which really helped us feel at home and saved us money on eating in. Overall- the communication with the host- Candace and Sheila, the cleaning queen was exceptional. Truly an amazing stay and can guarantee we will stay here again!

Great room! It feels comfortable, its conveniency of washer dryer, kitchen, and all the homely supplies like cooking seasoning, small appliances, cleaning products and supplies, etc....everything was great! Except that the portal that I had to log into had information that was not applicable. The pool code was wrong-it was another number as the pool man had told me. And the rubbish information was wrong. The portal says I could leave the rubbish outside the door in the hallway. We had a phone call message saying that we could not leave rubbish in the hallway and we had to dispose it ourself in a rubbish bin that we could not find near our room.

My wife and I stayed there for 5 nights (10/9-14) for our anniversary. Great location. Close to shops and restaurants. Condo was well appointed and very clean. Communication with the host was flawless. We received a call the first night notifying us that the city was working on a broken water line on the main highway and the water would be shut off at the resort during the late evening hours. We appreciated the call and were able to adjust accordingly. Thank you for that. We will definitely book again in the future.

The property was great. Plenty of room to spread out and comfy beds. Well stocked kitchen, toiletries provided, beach chairs, coolers and baby items. Pool was wonderful. Location is nice for visiting both the north and south beaches. Owner provided lots of recommendations and was also very responsive to any inquiries.

We had a great stay here. The property was beautiful, well cared for, gorgeous pools and proximity to beach was incredible. We literally could walk just outside pool area and we were in the ocean! Greg, our contact, was extremely helpful. Any question that arose, he was quick to answer and give us more info. There was a little bit of issue with A/C but that was more about the island power fluctuations and not the VRBO. We liked being close to the grocery store since we cooked in the room. It was a very convenient location for going north or south. Highly recommend this rental.

Beautiful unit with exceptional ground floor location within the resort. The kitchen is very thoughtfully appointed with top of the line equipment. Two full bathrooms, one bedroom, more comfortable seating than two people could need. We had a tiny issue getting all of the need-to-know details from the welcome app as it was not available to Android users. Candace was amazing, replying within minutes both by phone and email with the pool/fitness facility codes. We had been to Kauai and this resort twice before, but not this unit; everything was described perfectly, and the pictures were accurate. The host was very responsive; we had an unexpected power outage in the area, which caused our a/c unit to get a little wonky; the host was very attentive, helping us resolve the problem, and checked back several times to ensure all was well. She even texted that we could check in early if we needed to, that was unexpected and a kind offer. I highly recommend this unit and the host!!

We loved staying here!!! There was everything you could need at the condo. It was close to Safeway, a yummy shaved ice place, and shopping! It’s an easy drive to many island activities like hikes, viewing spots, etc. the host was quick with responses even though they were out of town! The pool was amazing and the kids absolutely loved swimming everyday. The only bummer was we couldn’t leave our luggage on-site for the day while we waited for our evening flight. Overall, 10/10! We would love to come back!

This property was perfect for our family. Last time we were in Kauai we spent so much time driving — this Location was prime. The pool was amazing, beach access was awesome. Restaurant on the property was fantastic. We hope to stay here again next time we are in Hawaii!

The unit was super clean. It was loaded with stuff to use: from coolers to beach chairs to umbrellas to boogie boards. The kitchen was really nice. It was so great that they included some basic kitchen essentials like cooking oil and condiments; saved us from having to buy those. I would totally stay here again. The location was awesome to walk out onto the beach without even putting shoes on. The kids loved the pool. It was so nice to have the shopping complex across the street with groceries, shave ice, ice cream, and souvenirs all in the same place. The location was great to make it to both the north and south shores in about 30-45 minutes either way. The owners were very accommodating to us when we needed some special accommodations on check-out. Five stars!

We had the most relaxing stay. Beds were super comfortable and we were able to spread out, as there were 4 of us. Definitely would recommend. The Oasis restaurant in sight was delicious as well. The beaches were a bit rocky, but we saw a monk seal so that was exciting!

Full kitchen with separate bedroom was fantastic, rather than a studio apartment as some units advertise. Short walk to the beach in the morning provided beautiful sunrises. The unit was warm/inviting/comfortable with the colors/wood and decoration. Finding the unit in the resort was very easy and its location was convenient for loading/unloading. Parking, getting in and out out of the resort to the main roads, and access to groceries/stores was super-convenient. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend to family and friends.

The condo is a great location! We loved being central to everything. The airport and Walmart is 10 min away, Safeway across the street. Lots of food options near by as well. The condo is very spacious! It accommodated 3 adults and 2 kids. Loved having the 3 bathrooms as well. Wished it was on the other side of building to have pool/ocean view, but we didn't spend a ton of time in the condo so it didn't bother us too much. The property is beautiful! There are food storage containers, plastic wrap, Ziplock bags, and foil. One will need to purchase whole bean or ground coffee for the Mr Coffee and Breville Espresso machines. The location was great, close to the airport, Safeway and other stores across the street, and a bike/walking path that goes on for miles. We loved our stay at the Waipouli Beach Resort. The condo was beautiful and had anything you could possibly need. The Oasis restaurant on property was excellent and you can’t beat the view. We had never been to the island and were pleasantly surprised what a great location this is for exploring everything this area has to offer and under an hour from other locations to explore. The pool was perfect for our pre teen kids and easy access from the ground floor unit. We enjoyed the restaurant as well. Felt like a high end resort with only what you need without being over done. The welcome goodies were a thoughtful touch and was great to have some beach equipment in the unit. Hope we’ll be back!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. The condo itself was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The resort is on the beach and directly across the street is a Safeway, Starbucks, and shave ice place that we crossed the street to get groceries and necessities. The resort is about 10 minutes from the airport which was perfect for our early morning flight, and a good location in general. We enjoyed the amenities such as the beautiful pools, 3 hot tubs, 2 slides, and on-site restaurant overlooking the beach. Could not recommend this resort more and we look forward to staying here again in the future.

The condo is a great location! We loved being central to everything. The airport and Walmart is 10 min away, Safeway across the street. Lots of food options near by as well. The condo is very spacious! It accommodated 3 adults and 2 kids. Loved having the 3 bathrooms as well. Wished it was on the other side of building to have pool/ocean view, but we didn't spend a ton of time in the condo so it didn't bother us too much. The property is beautiful! The pool is very pretty and fun for the kids. The water was cold! There is several hot tubs though that we all enjoyed. The beach is beautiful, but the water is not swimmable. We didn't really have an issue with this, there are lots and lots of beaches to visit near by! The restaurant on site is so good. We ate there twice. farm to table food. So so good. Pricey though. Amazing vacation! We enjoyed our time so much!

We booked a last minute trip to Kauai and were so lucky to find this gem of a place to stay. Our family of 5 was very comfortable in the two bedroom condo and we loved having a full kitchen and laundry. The condo is also stocked with everything you might need- from shampoo and conditioner to beach gear (chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and coolers). They also have baby gear including pack n play and high chair. Our family had so much fun in the pool and also enjoyed the restaurant. We can’t wait to go back!

The unit was super clean. It was loaded with stuff to use: from coolers to beach chairs to umbrellas to boogie boards. The kitchen was really nice. It was so great that they included some basic kitchen essentials like cooking oil and condiments; saved us from having to buy those. I would totally stay here again. The location was awesome to walk out onto the beach without even putting shoes on. The kids loved the pool. It was so nice to have the shopping complex across the street with groceries, shave ice, ice cream, and souvenirs all in the same place. The location was great to make it to both the north and south shores in about 30-45 minutes either way. The owners were very accommodating to us when we needed some special accommodations on check-out. Five stars!
