Overall our stay at the Inn was very good, the Inn is conveniently located just outside the town of Kent in the center of the Litchfield Hills Region of Northwestern Connecticut. Beautiful area, lots to see and do. Enjoyed an excellent complementary continental breakfast buffet each morning. There is a slightly irregular outside stairway to a couple of upper level rooms which might require a little extra caution

Very friendly/helpful with the area. Our hosts were gracious and accommodating !!! Enjoyed relaxing g at the pool and in my room. The area of Kent was easy to get around. Thank you

We have stayed twice in this lovely Inn. Very nice people who prepared a very well-rounded breakfast. The grounds were well groomed and peaceful. Beautifully decorated rooms, organic shampoo, comfortable all around.

The room was lovely and had everything we needed. The grounds and common areas are warm and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. But probably the best part was the owner, Mark. He was available, attentive and personable. He even surprised me with non-gluten options at breakfast after I asked him about GF restaurant options for dinner in Kent the night before. Would stay there again.

Very cozy and clean room, the shower was great, so was breakfast, and Mark, one of the owners was so friendly and accommodating. Great place to stay if you’re a birder too. The backyard is filled with them!

We loved our stay at the Cornwall Inn. The staff was excellent and always ready to be of help. However, there were two problems: in the entryway between the buffet breakfast area and the sign-in area I fell on the raised area of the floor (I was not hurt). We asked that the area be marked, and it was immediately, But perhaps something more permanent should be done to prevent any further falls. Secondly, the stairs up to Lodge 7 were very difficult to navigate. Anything you could do to make them smoother and the handrails better would really be a help.

Friendly and communicative staff, clean and comfortable room, light and healthy breakfast. A water issue was quickly communicated and alleviated as best as possible. Beautiful rural setting and great for visiting small towns in the area. We hope to return soon!

My family and I had a great time staying at Cornwall Inn and Lodge! The venue is very quaint and very clean - has a great New England atmosphere. It is located close to Kent Falls State Park and also to downtown Kent, where there are several good restaurants. We were able to explore Litchfield, Goshen, Cornwall, Sharon, and other nearby towns quite easily from their central location right on Route 7. The owners are very polite and welcome. Would highly recommend staying here for a nice getaway!

Never having stayed here before, my wife and I didn't know what to expect. We were met at the door by incredibly friendly and welcoming owner, Mark. Our first impression was a quaint and comfortable inn. After checking in, Mark gave us our key and showed us the large, well appointed breakfast area for the next morning. Our second floor room was good sized, clean and nicely decorated. We will definitely be back to stay here again!

Overall, I was disappointed with my stay. Neither WiFi network worked and cell service was terrible in the area. Shower pressure was way too high. The room was pretty clean, but seeing a collection of bugs in the bathroom light as well as dust on the air conditioner was a bit of a turn-off.

Very pretty area. Inn was nice, breakfast was lovely and the coffee was excellent! Linens were very nice. The AC was off (unplugged) in the main check in area and it was very warm. AC in room did not work very well and was very loud.

Charming Inn located minutes from Mohawk Mountain. Late check in was a breeze with my keys and check-in information waiting for me. The room was warm, clean, and quaint which was perfect! We will definitely stay again when we return.

Old style, homey, simple, comfortable room, only marred by no light switch next to bed for bedside reading. TV required 2 remotes, no big deal, and bathroom could use a place for personal items like a small mounted tray or stand. Very quaint property. Excellent staff - warm & friendly. Nice continental breakfast. The building is a tad noisy, but that's to be expected with an old wood building. Would definitely book again if we stay in the area again.

Stacey and Mark are wonderful hosts at this delightful B & B. They made wonderful suggestions for our dinner and local attractions. Homemade banana bread and GF coffee cakes added to the fine breakfast. We loved it!

Cornwall Inn and Lodge was a gem! We were visiting my cousin and found the Inn to be a lovely spot in a special part of Conn. Mark and Stacey are great hosts and the buffet breakfasts were delicious. Would highly recommend a visit.
Cornwall Inn and Lodge was a gem! We were visiting my cousin and found the Inn to be a lovely spot in a special part of Conn. Mark and Stacey are great hosts and the buffet breakfasts were delicious. Would highly recommend a visit.

My family and I had a great time staying at Cornwall Inn and Lodge! The venue is very quaint and very clean - has a great New England atmosphere. It is located close to Kent Falls State Park and also to downtown Kent, where there are several good restaurants. We were able to explore Litchfield, Goshen, Cornwall, Sharon, and other nearby towns quite easily from their central location right on Route 7. The owners are very polite and welcome. Would highly recommend staying here for a nice getaway!

Beautiful area, lots to see and do. Enjoyed an excellent complementary continental breakfast buffet each morning. There is a slightly irregular outside stairway to a couple of upper level rooms which might require a little extra caution

Charming Inn located minutes from Mohawk Mountain. Late check in was a breeze with my keys and check-in information waiting for me. The room was warm, clean, and quaint which was perfect! We will definitely stay again when we return.

Very pretty area. Inn was nice, breakfast was lovely and the coffee was excellent! Linens were very nice. The AC was off (unplugged) in the main check in area and it was very warm. AC in room did not work very well and was very loud.

We have stayed twice in this lovely Inn. Very nice people who prepared a very well-rounded breakfast. The grounds were well groomed and peaceful. Beautifully decorated rooms, organic shampoo, comfortable all around.

The room was lovely and had everything we needed. The grounds and common areas are warm and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. But probably the best part was the owner, Mark. He was available, attentive and personable. He even surprised me with non-gluten options at breakfast after I asked him about GF restaurant options for dinner in Kent the night before. Would stay there again.

Old style, homey, simple, comfortable room, only marred by no light switch next to bed for bedside reading. TV required 2 remotes, no big deal, and bathroom could use a place for personal items like a small mounted tray or stand. Continental breakfast was not cookie cutter like commercial places, but homemade goodies.

Very quaint property. Excellent staff - warm & friendly. Nice continental breakfast. The building is a tad noisy, but that's to be expected with an old wood building. Would definitely book again if we stay in the area again.

Stacey and Mark are wonderful hosts at this delightful B & B. They made wonderful suggestions for our dinner and local attractions. Homemade banana bread and GF coffee cakes added to the fine breakfast. We loved it!

We loved staying at Cornwall Inn while visiting our daughter at summer camp for the weekend. The rooms comfortable and sheets were divine! I much prefer these type of family run businesses that feel thoughtful and genuinely appreciate you being there! the breakfast room and gathering room were nice places to hang out and read. We didn't have time for the pool, but I wish we had jumped in! next time! we will be back next summer

The breakfast every morning was wonderful with a great variety to choose from. The staff couldn’t be any more friendly, accommodating, and welcoming! The pool looked very inviting, however it was too cool out and or raining. Hopefully next time… there will definitely be a next time!

The modern touch for USB and extra outlets was fantastic, especially once I learned to use them. I'm 79 and a bit slower on the uptake on this, but everything was fine.
