Best Western Haeundae Hotel

I have stayed at various Best Western locations worldwide, but this one in Busan is the worst. We chose it for its reputation, but the bathroom cleanliness was unsatisfactory. The shower booth isn't sealed properly, causing the floor to flood after each use. Despite a drain, there are no slippers, making it impossible to walk in the bathroom without proper shoes. Extra towels are charged at $2 each, and the hotel only provides the exact number of towels per guest per day. The parking entrance is narrow and steep, so renting a smaller car is advisable. On the positive side, the location is excellent. The beach is right in front, with great restaurants and a local market within a 5-minute walk. However, I might consider staying elsewhere next time.

When arrive at the hotel, there is nothing but an entrance and an elevator. The reception is on the second floor. The hotel could do a better job with a plaque or poster at the entrance to inform of the location to the reception. A very good room, with enough space to move around a little. Although a little tight space at each side of bed. The bed was firm which I like, but could be a little bit firmer. Pillow was not too soft and not fluffy which I also like, but I wish the pillow was a little bit larger/taller. The room I was in had a carpet floor. Some pictures of this hotel show rooms without carpet floor. I do not like carpet floor and it was disappointing to see a carpet floor when I got there. The room had a small balcony with a view to the sea and beach. The AC was very good, but I could not adjust the temperature on the controls. It cooled the room down to the extreme, so I turned it off at night (at least you can turn off the AC). It was good to come back to a chill cold room after a long day in the heat, but I wish I could adjust the temperature to not so cold. The shower was good. Walk-in rain shower. The toilet was plain american style. No fancy bidet toilet Korea and Japan is known for. This was disappointing. Wish the room had support for Google Cromecast. Watching the TV if you do not know Korean is pointless. With Cromecast I would not have to watch movies on my small tablet when resting in the room.

The best Best Western branches I have personally stayed in. My room was spotless except for a few inevtiable harmless marks you get on white bed sheets. The bathroom was also clean and spacious. I had a room with a giant window directly overlooking Gunam-ro and and view of the beach. If you're sensitive to noise I would recommend a room away from the main strip as it did get loud on some nights with the busking and crowds. I was able to control the AC/Heat in the room which was perfect for the temperature drops at night. The only complaints: The room lighting is a bit dark, no microwave in the room, and the laundry service is not self-service.

Good hotel to stay in overall for the location close to the beach and shopping/restaurants area and our room was clean. The only issue was that it said there was laundry services on Expedia but there is actually no laundry floor in the hotel. You actually have to walk out 5 min away to a laundromat nearby. A bit misleading since we chose this hotel specifically for the laundry services that we thought was inside the building, not to go walk outside to do it. A mild inconvenience but the location is great at least.

The hotel is very simple and does not offer breakfast. The staff was polite, and when I had issues with the air conditioning, they moved me to another room. The hotel is extremely well located

日本のビジネスホテルよりは広いが、韓国のホテルよりは狭い。だが、ビジネスで使うのには、コスパ良い。朝食はないが、一階にSubwayがあるので、便利。海雲台のメイン街に位置するので、ある程度の騒音はあるが、気にする程度ではない。

Everything about this hotel was great except for the main entrance and the elevators. The main entrance had bathrooms for the public and it smelled foul which lingered strongly to the elevators. The whole area had diffusers but it made it worse.

Car parking not free plus very tight parking so nerrow in&out.

施設の古さを感じましたが、清掃はきちんとされていました。立地がとても良く移動が楽でした。

清掃が徹底されていてよかったです。

L’hôtel est globalement propre. L’hôtel est très bien situé, ce qui rend beaucoup de choses accessibles. Chambre avec vue mer, un vrai plus ! La chambre est grande ce qui permet de pouvoir ouvrir les valises librement. Cependant, l’odeur des égouts dans la chambre est un peu dérangeante.

Some of the area in the bathroom have mold and mattress have stain. Shower head need to be fix n the water come out slow.

シンプル、モダンで良かった。 海雲台ビーチの近くでとても良い位置、周りには飲食店、コンビニも多く大変便利だった。 全般的に満足しているが、掃除不良と感じる部分があり、とても残念だった。 掃除の監督・管理が出来ていな感じ。（担当者は手抜き？） 1。床にはカーペット掃除後のカスが複数残っていた。 2。テレビ台の表面にベタつく物sり。（前の客が冷蔵庫からベタつく物を置いてたかも） 3。シャワーブースの壁に長い女性髪の毛が付いていた。 4。ヘアドライヤの吸気部にホコリが、いっぱい。 5。シャンプー、コンディショナー、ボディーシャンプーなどは容器を押して絞り出すタイプであるが、文字が消えて区別しにくい。

The room was dusty and the restroom had a weird pipe smell, pretty average hotel and room.

The location of the property was great. However, the room was not so great especially the bathroom. It was a bathtub/shower with no curtains. It was more like a wet room than a bathroom. The room was also very small.

We chose this hotel purely because of its strategic location. Staffs are friendly. Rooms are small and dated. It’s very near to Heundae Beach and approx 10 mins walk to the nearest subway station.

This was a prime location, right in the centre of Haeundae conveniently across the food market street. 2 min walk from the beach, Busan X the Sky, the blue line capsules. Everything you need to get a great experience for probably a fraction of the price most hotels in that area are going for. The rooms were so spacious too! The bathroom was big and everything was clean. So much value for money for such a great location.

위치도 지하철역, 해변, 주변 편의시설 모든 방면에서 좋습니다. 메인 거리에 있어서 찾기 쉽고 이동하기 쉽지만, 밤새 밖에서 음악소리가 들려 예민하신분들은 힘드실수 있습니다.

The hotel as a very strong odor that smells kind of like bubble gum. The rooms also have strong smell when you first walk in but you get used to it. We had 2 rooms and one of the bathrooms had a bath tub with shower head but no curtains.. just a quarter of a glass wall near the head of the bath tub. So water would spray out onto the ground. Overall, it's okay for the price.

Top tier location, spacious lovely rooms, well stocked amenities. My room had a great view of the main street and beach.

No cooling ac during winter. It’s stuffy in the room as no way to cool it even opening the windows. It was uncomfortable

Staff were friendly. The hotel room provided us a view of the sea from our balcony which was very much appreciated. And they do have plug points that Malaysians could use on wall which was also very helpful. However they should review the quality of the pillows not very comfortable to sleep on.

Very clean. What we like is , it’s only TWO minutes walk to Haundae beach itself . Downstairs is the 7-11 and I front is the night /dining market where to experience different Korean Foods . Easy check in and check Out . Very professional staff meets my request on extending our stay . Best Western is fantastic hotel with a great location Going to book this hotel again on our next Busan trip .

해운대해수욕장과 시장이 너무 가까워서 좋았음, 버스정류장도 바로 앞이라 차없이 부산을 여행할때 최고의 위치였음.

The hotel is well-located on the popular tourist spot on haeundae street and only 1 minute walk to the beach. There is a mini market just two buildings away. Night market just across the hotel building where you can find street food and souvenir shop.

Convenience to Metro and the Beach
